The rooms/accommodation is always extremely clean and all personal care is professionally undertaken and with exteme dignity.

I no longer worry about mum, knowing she has the support, care and comfort she needs. I would ask the facility to not cut any more carers and to look for savings elsewhere if increasing costs are becoming an issue, especially as residents costs increase each year.

Also, there needs to be more care and attention to residents needing dentistry, foot care and eye care. My Mum has been at Willaston for nearly two years and has still not seen a dentist. I had tried a couple of times to ask for her to see one but still it has not happened.
Overall, lovely place to live and I feel comfortable and reassured that Mum's needs are being met.

Sadly, as she became more poorly, she needed more care and help. The nursing and care staff were once again an amazing team. Second to none!
My family and I were always welcomed by Receptionists who were helpful and understanding. This was particularly appreciated by me on my many visits to see Mum.

From the day she entered the care home, my mother couldn't have received better treatment from the care staff. They were all excellent, and the level of sensitivity and support they provided to my mother, and myself whenever I visited was exceptional. In fact I would go as far as to say each staff member became like a friend to me. I will particularly remember and be grateful the kindness shown to me when my mother sadly reached the end of her life. The level of personal care and attention given to my mother was heartwarming and comforting to myself and my sister. I'm forever grateful

and entertainment is always available should anyone wish to join in. It would be difficult to get Mum out at the moment, but the fact we can join in with activities or meet and have lunch with her at Richmond, means a lot.
The staff seem to be a bit stretched sometimes, whether more are needed? but there are always going to be busier times of the day I suppose.
I just hope we can keep her here for as long as possible!
