Mum has been a resident at Richmond Village Willaston for about 14months now. The carers are fantastic with mum, were very quick to get to know her likes/dislikes, the seniors are very attentive with mums care and provide the family with updates on mum on each visit.

More recently the number of carers

available to the residents has been reduced however, which has made a noticeable affect on their morale in general. Despite this the carers are always very professional, attentive and caring towards residents.

The rooms/accommodation is always extremely clean and all personal care is professionally undertaken and with exteme dignity.

I no longer worry about mum, knowing she has the support, care and comfort she needs. I would ask the facility to not cut any more carers and to look for savings elsewhere if increasing costs are becoming an issue, especially as residents costs increase each year.

Carers are very compassionate and caring towards residents. Staff are very welcoming to visitors and make you feel comfortable. If I have a query, it is dealt with pretty quickly and a resolution is normally found quickly. I do feel that there are not enough carers to help residents at times. My Mum
eels that she has to wait quite a while sometimes when she needs assistance to go to the toilet. Also, there needs to be more care and attention to residents needing dentistry, foot care and eye care. My Mum has been at Willaston for nearly two years and has still not seen a dentist. I had tried a couple of times to ask for her to see one but still it has not happened.
Overall, lovely place to live and I feel comfortable and reassured that Mum's needs are being met.

Richmond Village Nantwich provided a home from home environment for Mum whilst we were away.
Every person we came into contact with was friendly and professional and we were particularly impressed with the pre-admission visit at home.
Mum got to stay in a beautifully decorated room with a balcony
and a view of the gardens.
To know your loved one is being well cared for in such a beautiful place is a real comfort and we would definitely recommend.
Mum hopes to stay again when we are away next time.
Thank you to everyone at Richmond Village Nantwich.

Dad was given a warm welcome in my absence, which was a massive reassurance when making arrangements remotely. He was able to participate in a wide range of activities. Staff were polite and courteous to him and his visitors. As the grounds were wheelchair friendly he was able to be independent on
his scooter. He thoroughly enjoyed his stay - thank you

I always enjoy visiting my gran at Richmond Villages. The staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive, and it's clear they truly care about the wellbeing of all the residents. My gran is always well looked after, and I have peace of mind knowing she is in such safe and supportive hands.
The
home has a warm and positive atmosphere, with plenty of engaging activities that keep the residents active and happy. The meals are well prepared and of great quality, which my gran really appreciates.

The staff and care at Richmond Willaston is fantastic. In my experience the staff show care to the whole family when we visit, in addition to the outstanding care shown towards my husband who is a resident in one of the households. The difficult decision to put my husband into a care home has been made
much easier when I can see that the specialist care he is receiving has made him happier than when he was at home. All in all I think that the staff, from the carers and managers to the receptionists do an amazing job.

As a family we have been very lucky to have found a place at Willaston for Mum. It's the nearest thing to her living in her own home. The carers are skilled at encouraging her to mobilise, socialise and eat - all important for those with dementia. The admin and reception staff are reassuring to residents
and are always welcoming and ready to offer moral support to visitors after difficult visits. The maintenance team, cleaners, caterers, entertainment staff and gardeners are dedicated to creating a safe and pleasant environment. Finally the senior carers and managers are always available and ready to help sort out issues, even the tricky ones using their extensive experience. I would unhesitatingly recommend Richmond Villages Willaston.

My Mother came to Richmond Care Home shortly after her 95th Birthday. After a while she became very happy with all the activities provided by an amazing team. She realised she was experiencing a good social life and lots of varied entertainments. In fact, I could see that she had a 'new lease of life'
which lasted quite a long time.
Sadly, as she became more poorly, she needed more care and help. The nursing and care staff were once again an amazing team. Second to none!
My family and I were always welcomed by Receptionists who were helpful and understanding. This was particularly appreciated by me on my many visits to see Mum.

Many thanks are due to All Staff

My mother who has dementia has been a resident of the care home for just over a year now, the care she has received has been exceptional, the staff are very patient and know how to manage my mother to minimise the stress and anxiety. The staff are all very friendly and make us feel welcome when ever
we visit.
The activities team are all very hard working and have a wide range of things going on every day catering for a wide range of interests.
I cant fault the team at Richmond, Nantwich, I would highly recommend the home to anyone.

My parents relocated here in 2011 and bought an independent living apartment within the Richmond Village complex. They enjoyed the activities and convenience of the restaurant on site, in addition to the tailored level of care available from the wonderful staff. My father died in 2013 and my mother
continued to live in the apartment until 2022, when she decided to move into the attached care home. From the day she entered the care home, my mother couldn't have received better treatment from the care staff. They were all excellent, and the level of sensitivity and support they provided to my mother, and myself whenever I visited was exceptional. In fact I would go as far as to say each staff member became like a friend to me. I will particularly remember and be grateful the kindness shown to me when my mother sadly reached the end of her life. The level of personal care and attention given to my mother was heartwarming and comforting to myself and my sister. I'm forever grateful

To focus on one month is unrealistic, over 6 months - this would be my care home of choice. Initial teething problems overcome both in households and care floor. Care staff generally excellent, patient and respectful. Management approachable and helpful. Handover from H/H to care was clumsy, fully discussed
at management level, all now ok. My wife is content and well care for. Thank you.

All the staff are fabulous, from reception to kitchen to carers. Mum has been here on and off for 3 months now, I can finally sleep at night , knowing that she is safe and there is help at hand 24/7 should she require it. The carers seem to genuinely "care" which is a rarity these days. Plenty of activities
and entertainment is always available should anyone wish to join in. It would be difficult to get Mum out at the moment, but the fact we can join in with activities or meet and have lunch with her at Richmond, means a lot.
The staff seem to be a bit stretched sometimes, whether more are needed? but there are always going to be busier times of the day I suppose.
I just hope we can keep her here for as long as possible!

Grandad waited over 30 minutes to go to toilet and bed. I believe more care staff are needed, especially at bedtime, the girls are fantastic but there are not enough of them to assist people who are not able to help themselves due to mobility. Also only one stand aid in place of care to service all
residents is not acceptable! Especially the fees!
