Staff are extremely friendly. When my mother passed away the staff were excellent and so caring and treated her with great dignity and respect. They gave my wife and I all the support we needed.

Overall Experience
I have been here only 3 weeks and am very impressed with my experience so far. I had previously spent 6 years in a residential home and needing care, I moved here on 31 January 2020. The accommodation is a year old and is a very high standard.

The staff are good and very caring.

Hello, my name is Charlotte, and I have been at Poets Mews since it opened in 2019. I was the sous chef until October 2023. I really enjoyed being the sous chef, but felt I needed a change, and when the opportunity came up, I joined the customer service team. Hello, I’m Rachel a senior care assistant here at Poets Mews Care Home in Clevedon, I first came to Poets Mews as an agency carer for 6 months and really loved all the residents, the staff and the managers. I thought to myself that I never wanted to leave Poets Mews and wanted to become a permanent member of the staff. This is when the manager gave me the role of being a Senior Care Assistant. I love my job as all the residents are so happy and very friendly and really enjoy staying here.

They enjoy all the activities which always puts a smile on my face when I see them all enjoying themselves. It’s lovely to see that we all as a team make a difference to the residents on a day-to-day basis.
