My mother came to Invicta Court in August 2024. She was reluctant at first but all the staff were so welcoming it wasn't long before she settled in. The rooms are light and airy, spacious and kept spotlessly clean. The lifestyle team put on a wide range of activities for those who are interested to
join in. The meals are fantastic and served in the dining rooms or in mums room depending on her mood.
The gardens are beautifully maintained with plenty of seating for those warmer days. All the staff at Invicta Court are warm and friendly and clearly care so much about the residents, from the kitchen staff, admin staff, maintenance team to all the carers, nurses and lifestyle team. The leadership team are extremely efficient, professional and warm. I have no hesitation in recommending Invicta Court and know mum is receiving the best care.

Overall I am very pleased with the home. All staff are very friendly and most know our names. They provide a good menu and activity schedule. The home is spotlessly clean and the laundry service incredible. The head nurses really know their residents, they never need to refer to notes etc for their
care or medication if asked. My only concern is that maybe a little bit more one to one in depth chat would be good for the mental wellbeing.

Mum moved into Invicta last January after living in her own home for in excess of 60 years. She settled very quickly, probably in part to all the extremely caring staff, from the Home Manager to the cleaning and maintenance staff. Activities are arranged each day and outings feature in the home's timetable
in their own minibus 2 or 3 times a week. Relatives are warmly welcomed and encouraged to join in activities with the residents. Activities are based around special days. Such as Valentine's Day, Saint's Days, VE Day etc. Relatives can book private rooms to eat with the residents too.


The premises are superb and reflect the local area in the names of the three suites. For example William Hazlett Suite, plus the Cobtree Cafe and Fremlin Bar.
Films are shown each week in the Fremlin Bar. The garden is well tendered and residents are able to help with gardening and planting out. The Cafe is warm and friendly and stock with various drinks and nibbles for everyone to enjoy.

Our dad has been a resident since July 2023 and he is thriving in the happy, warm and loving atmosphere throughout the home. He feels safe and at home in his warm and comfortable room and enjoys overlooking the garden. Dad likes everything to be clean and tidy and often comments how beautifully maintained
his surroundings are, including the garden where he really enjoys being. He is very sociable and responds well to sharing friendly exchanges with all the staff. There are several different activities offered everyday by the fantastic Lifestyle team as well as the care staff, both in groups or one-to-ones and dad takes part in many of them. We all enjoy taking him to the cafe. All the staff are really lovely and absolutely go above and beyond in everything they do. They put so much effort into everything with brilliant results. The food is excellent. The care staff have got to know dad as an individual and have picked up health problems early too. We couldn't ask for more for him.

An amazing place, staff have a very hard job with my resident with their expectations beyond that possible to anyone. Brain injury has impacted their personality hugely compared to pre injury. The social calendar is extensive and of very high standard. Care of visitors e.g. refreshments very much appreciated.

Moving mum from her home of more than 60 years to a care home was truly the most difficult decision of my life, but I was lucky, I found the right home, a modern, spacious, clean and well maintained home, but more importantly I found the right people: Experienced, dedicated, compassionate, sincere,
supportive, understanding and friendly. Without exception every single member of staff is fully focused on ensuring that mum is safe, well cared for and engaged in continuing doing those things that she has so loved doing. I take comfort in knowing that mum is in good hands.

My mother has been part of the Invicta Court family for the last four years. This is truly an exceptional care home, it is beautifully furnished with a friendly warm, caring atmosphere. The facilities are clean, homely, really well managed and maintained but the most outstanding feature is the caring,

My father is now a resident at Invicta Court. The care home is situated in lovely surroundings. The garden is lovely with beautiful flowers and homegrown vegetables in the Summer months. The care home is kept to a very high standard. There is a wide choice of daily activities for the residents and the
entertainment is fantastic. The management and staff are amazing, always available should you have any concerns and all so extremely kind and caring. My father is very content in his new home and the family know that he is cared for by each and every one of the wonderful staff.

Feel so relaxed knowing my mum is in good hands, the staff are very kind and nothing seems to much trouble always looks very clean, a lovely area where you can have a cake and drink, and lovely kept gardens, cinema, and have always got something going on. Mum has dementia and initially went to Invicta Court on respite. Any changes can be challenging for someone living with dementia and Mum took a while to settle but with the patience and care she has received she decided she loves it there and is now a permanent resident.
As a family, we are so relieved
and grateful Mum is being so well looked after. Every member of staff has been amazing. Nothing is too much trouble, everyone is very welcoming and Mum has bonded so well with her carers and the nurses who are so patient and kind. She is joining in with the activities and her life is so much better now than when she lived alone. There is such a lovely atmosphere here and I would highly recommend it. We are so pleased we chose Invicta Court.

Thank you all for an amazing D-Day celebration today. We were treated to a fabulous menu topped off by birthday cake. The food is always brilliant especially the cake, which is Mum's favourite. Your decorations were brilliant as were the table placings. I especially enjoyed the summer cocktail. The
singer was a perfect accompaniment to a special day of remembrance. Mum has been with you since February 2024 and we are so lucky there was space for her. Thank you all so much. She is in such good hands.

We have just attended a quite excellent D-Day lunch. There was a fantastic engagement from residents and the staff had all put in a huge amount of effort to lay out tables to decorate the rooms and to dress up in period costumes so as to mark the day with fun, music and laughter as well as remembering
the sacrifice of all involved that day and in the months afterwards. It was a joy to see residents singing and dancing to music of the period (and later). Invicta Court at its very best.

We were fortunate to be able to attend the Invicta Court, 'D Day Party' on the 6th June. The Invicta team deserve a huge pat on the back for putting on what was a most entertaining and memorable event which seemed to be enjoyed by all. It was also good to see that a balance was achieved between respectful
reflection and celebration as it was obvious that for some residents, their memories of this time remained painful ones. Well done the catering team for their creative menu!

The staff have recently gone over and above to ensure my mother could be a part of her granddaughter's wedding even though she was unable to attend. They helped her make a little video played during the speeches, arranged a live link so she could watch the ceremony and organised a fabulous wedding breakfast
so that mum had a special day too. The whole family really appreciated the effort that went into helping mum be a part of the day. It is indicative of the care given to residents, at a level which is sympathetic to their varied diagnoses, to ensure their lives are as happy and fulfilled as possible.

An exceptionally caring, clean comfortable, safe, happy home for Mum.
I feel that all staff at Invicta are now part of the family - we are all one team doing whatever we can to ensure Mum is happy, fulfilled and safe.
This extends beyond her day-to-day needs including welcoming family members to
join in activities such as cinema evenings, tea parties, and trips, and arranging invaluable information events for family such as financial planning, and living with dementia advice.
We were understandably nervous about moving Mum to Invicta - but have never once regretted the decision.

Job Title: Home Manager

I was keen to join Care UK because it is a well-respected organisation with impressive values and a strong portfolio of homes around the country. I joined Invicta Court at the beginning of its journey as I was keen to be involved in commissioning a new home and shaping the standards of care, right from the start.


My favourite part of the day at our Maidstone care home is when I get the chance to talk to the residents. Listening to their life experiences is fascinating, and by getting to know the people we care for, we’re better able to provide person-centred, high quality care.


I’m enjoying working with the team to build Invicta Court’s reputation for great care, to enable residents to live their lives to the full, and to make residents’ wishes a reality.


At Invicta Court I'm also the Infection Prevention & Control (IPC) Champion for the home. It's my job to establish and maintain a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness so that residents, colleagues and visitors keep safe.
