My almost 90 year old father has spent a couple of periods in respite care at Benson House where he has been looked after by the kind and experienced staff there. It's been a huge relief to the family knowing that he is in safe hands, and we've been made to feel very welcome whenever we spend time with him there. Benson House has been really understanding and responsive to situations when they've proved urgent and always demonstrate patience and a very personal approach. They handle delicate situations with consideration, respect and professionalism and we have hugely appreciated the care they have been taking of him.

I would like to thank Benson House for the outstanding care they all gave my brother, Patrick, during his three months of care. Everyone was so kind to him and the facilities there were second to none. Unfortunately Pat passed in their care and the dignity given to him will always be remembered by all his family and friends.

A very good level of care for my father, understanding and compassionate staff. Excellent communication about an issues arising with my Dad's care. Very comfortable and caring environment. The afternoon tea was excellent, with some of the best cake, and for both residents and visitors.

Our uncle only had 3 months in Benson House. As a family we were impressed with everyones friendliness and professionalism. He required some specialist care to keep him comfortable. This was achieved. He shared jokes with the nursing staff and was never in pain. The staff are thoughtful and compassionate we have been happy that he was able to pass his last 3 months in such a good place. He never left his room and had difficulty with his appetite hence the satisfactory ratings below. Thank you for looking after our uncle.

His room is lovely and he is enjoying having some personal possessions around him.
The staff are lovely, so kind and caring, but 'professional' all the time. The food is amazing with a very wide choice. He says the days pass quickly, in no small part due to the wellbeing team. As a visitor I always feel welcome.

Mum appears much happier since residing at Benson House. Her diet has improved immensley, hat's of to all the staff. Thank you all very much.

My brother-in-law is being well looked after and is happy at Benson House. Since he has been there he has become more sociable and happily speaks to and relates to other residents. Staff are friendly and helpful. He enjoys sitting and walking in the garden. He enjoys the meals. Medical help has been appreciated. Although his stay will be temporary the experience has given him more confidence to live a more independent life.

My father has been a resident of Benson House since January when I moved him from a different care home in Oxford. I could not be happier with the level of care provided by the team. He has been bed-bound for months and is cleaned/changed 3 times per day which means he is always clean and happy when I visit him. His room always smells pleasant (unlike the last home he was in) and the surroundings are really lovely. The team at Benson House and the care they provide is outstanding. I always receive a warm welcome and they truly seem to care about my father's wellbeing. The food is top-notch, the services bang up-to-date and the building itself is a home away from home. My father and I lucked out with Benson and I'm thankful that he's in very good hands.

My Dad was 94 when he was admitted to Benson House, and he spent just over two weeks there before he died. He only got to use a small proportion of the facilities available, as he was not well enough to engage with most of them. We did take him into the gardens in a wheelchair, and that was very pleasant and tranquil. Although he wasn't able to test many of the things available, he did make use of the best of the feature of Benson House - the care. There were lots of staff available at all hours of day an night, and they were always cheerful. It was a great blessing to us to know that he was receiving great care, care that could not have been replicated at home.
Thank you, for your kind words and recognition of the team at Benson house. We are so sorry for your loss, and we're glad that you were able to enjoy our gardens with him in the time. Your comments will be passed on to the team.
