Lovely, friendly staff. The Halloween party was a lovely idea for the residents and families. Thank you, we had a great afternoon.
Thank you for your thanks, we do appreciate it! Kind regards
My husband has been at this home since June, he has settled in well. The staff are very caring and will help in any way possible. The home is well-run and clean.
Thank you for your 5-star review, it is very much appreciated. Kind regards
Really welcoming and friendly staff. Halloween party was a brilliant idea for residents and families, particularly the children. Thank you!
Thank you for your review! We are so pleased you all enjoyed the party! Kind regards
My wife is in for four weeks of rehab on the NHS. Comfortable, well-appointed rooms. Food is excellent with good variety and choice and lovely cook. The dining room is light and airy. The staff were very pleasant and very helpful. My wife was bed bound for six weeks in hospital, your staff got her mobile again and looking after herself. Although that wasn't their remit and she was cleared out of the hospital not as a patient but as a bed space. My wife came home after three weeks because of your staff's hard work - thank you.
Thank you very much for your review and your comments praising Lyndsey and her team, who have worked so hard to support your wife in her recovery from her hospital stay. Whether our residents' stay with us is short or long, all benefit from excellent care and attention. Kind regards.
There were some initial problems because Mum's clothes didn't need to be marked at the previous home but other than that we have had no problems.
Mum has settled in well and I find all the staff very welcoming when I visit. Sadly, Mum passed away at the end of September and it was obvious from the staff's reaction that night how precious each resident is to them.
Thank you for making Mum's last months happy. It was great that we knew Mum was safe.
Thank you very much for taking the time and trouble to recognise the care and kindness of the Dovehaven Grove team, at such a sad time for you and your family. They will be so appreciative of your kind comments and ratings. Kind regards
Visiting my step-father-in-law it is comforting to see how happy he is. He is comfortable and well looked after. I would strongly recommend this care home to anyone in our situation.
Thank you very much for taking the time and trouble to review Dovehaven Grove, we very much appreciate your feedback and your recommendation. Kind regards
Amazing and caring home with lovely staff.
Wow! a 5-star review. Thank you very much, it is appreciated. Kind regards
Dovehaven Grove was brilliant. All staff were wonderful looking after my mother, she was very happy for the whole of her life, and I cannot fault the service. Thank you for everything you have done.
I am writing to thank you for your review, which was wonderful to read. We do appreciate it. Apologies for not acknowledging your review sooner. Kind regards.
My gran received excellent care from the staff. Nothing was too much trouble, tea, biccies and cake all provided with a smile and a few words to pass the day. She also had her hair done on-site regularly which she really enjoyed. When the time came for her to pass away, we were not there but I am forever grateful that she had several attentive caring people around her that made sure she was loved til the end. Many, many thanks.
Thank you very much for your review, it is appreciated. Apologies we did not acknowledge as soon as it was published. Kind regards.
My wife was put in Dovehaven three months ago. She is well looked after and kept safe.
Thank you very much for your review and ratings, it is very much appreciated by the manager and her team at the home. Kind regards
It is a lovely place, staff are very helpful.
Thank you for your review, everyone at the home will be very happy to read your kind comments. Kind regards
My dad was placed in Dovehaven Grove after a long period in the hospital to assess his needs on a discharge to assess placement. From the moment he arrived, we received exceptional treatment and a high level of care. We as a family were welcomed warmly and kept fully informed of how he was. We were able to visit anytime and cannot speak highly enough of the staff and care he received.
Thank you very much for taking the time and trouble to review Dovehaven Grove, we very much appreciate it. Kind regards.
Very happy with the care my mother-in-law receives. She has settled in well. The activities that are provided are well led and organised by the management. All staff are approachable and management are easily contacted. The Queen's Jubilee party was fabulous and the entertainment was excellent. Two members of staff need a special mention for their approachability and professionalism to their jobs. Looking forward to the new 'dove hub' too.
Thank you very much for taking the time and trouble to review Dovehaven Grove, we certainly appreciate it. Your kind comments certainly reflect all the great things that happen at the home and we are so pleased that you were able to highlight the great work of the manager and team members as they put so much into making sure that everyone is safe, well and happy. Kind regards
I'm happy with the care and support my relative receives. I enjoyed the Jubilee party that the management and staff organised. All the residents and family members enjoyed this day. I'm looking forward to seeing more activities being held at Dovehaven Grove.
Thank you for your review and ratings. Dovehaven Grove certainly enjoy activities and events, it's good to know that family members are also getting involved! Kind regards
I cannot praise the management and staff at Dovehaven Grove highly enough. My wife entered their care in May of 2022 and has really settled very quickly. She is happy and content and loves to join in the activities at the home. The staff are all so friendly and approachable and it seems nothing is too much trouble. The manager and her team are keen to engage with residents' relatives and listen to their comments. Cannot thank them enough for the peace of mind I have knowing my wife is safe and cared for.
Thank you very much for writing such a wonderful 5* review, all of the team at Dovehaven Grove will be so pleased with your comments. The team work so hard to include families and loved ones in the life of the home and to know that you have 'peace of mind' makes it so worthwhile. Kind regards.
My mother went into Dovehaven Grove on the 16th of May unable to walk at all after a fall and very weak. The staff are wonderful and nothing is too much trouble. Today she met me by walking down the hallway unaided! I never thought I would see her walk again. Thank you so much to the whole dedicated staff team at this wonderful place.
Thank you very much for your wonderful 5* review. Your comments are very much appreciated and your story of your mother's continued improvement is heartwarming. Kind regards.
My mother-in-law has been a resident at Dovehaven Grove for some time now. The manager and all the staff are very welcoming, provide a caring and friendly environment and are always on hand to answer any questions. A big thank you to the manager and all the staff.
Many thanks for your thanks. The team at Dovehaven Grove work so hard to ensure that their residents are safe, happy and well so they will be pleased to have received your recognition. Kind regards

Thank you for the wonderful review for Dovehaven Grove. The manager and her team will be very pleased that their hard work, care and consideration have been recognised. Kind regards.
Under quite stressful circumstances my mother was transferred to the care of this home 2 days before Christmas. Since then the team have taken over her care and worked tirelessly to make sure that she settled. My mother was resistant to change, but due to the determination of the care team and with the support of the senior carers and managers, she is certainly starting to feel more comfortable and settled.
Thank you very much for taking the time and trouble to write a review. You are right the team work so hard to ensure that our residents are settled and happy, your recognition of their hard work is much appreciated. Kind regards
My mother has been a resident for some time, throughout she has been treated very well and cared for lovingly. January has been a month of lockdown due to Covid, throughout we have had contact via the telephone which has worked exceptionally well. The staff have been excellent and supportive throughout. A well-run environment that I can't fault.
Thank you very much for your wonderful 5-star review. Your comments are very much appreciated; the team work so hard, and it gives them a great feeling of 'a job well done' when we receive such positive feedback. Kind regards.
