The home, which was refurbished in 2020, sits next to accessible woodland and provides residents with beautiful views of Whity Grove Park. In addition to high-quality living spaces, Dovehaven Grove features a library room and a hairdressing salon.

Other facilities include a 'Zen Room' where people can relax in a calming space, a garden room for people unable to take part in outdoor planting as well as themed seating areas to support freedom of movement.

There are 60 bedrooms, some of which have en-suite bathrooms. The home has full accessibility for people who need adapted entrances and exits. The garden is wheelchair accessible and has been designed in consideration of residents' needs.

After an initial settling time I am quite happy with the care of my mother, she seems happy and carers always seem kind towards her, considering she can be quite a stubborn person and strong-willed. Under the current Covid-19 situation, I have visited a couple of times and what I have seen I am happy
with.

My father was put into Dovehaven Grove at the very short of the lockdown. We obviously haven't been able to visit. When we phone we are always warmly welcomed. Nothing is too much trouble. The friendly staff ask lots of questions to get to know all about dad. He has settled brilliantly. He has stopped
using his walking frame and has rosiness in his cheeks!

I am writing on behalf of my husband, but he tells me the meals were excellent. The bedroom is comfortable. Pushed him in a wheelchair in the garden, did armchair exercises. Let me speak to him which we both found good due to the lockdown. If for any reason he had to go into the care home, we would
recommend this one. He has vascular dementia.
