My mum has been in for a month assessment. The place is first-class, very clean, the food looks good. The staff are extremely friendly and always helpful. There are plenty of activities going on and there is a high proportion of staff to residents.
Many thanks for your kind comments and wonderful feedback, it is very much appreciated. Kind regards
It's brilliant that their hard work and commitment has been recognised in their recent CQC rating. Well done to you all.

Every confidence that my brother is being well looked after! There was/is an issue with contacting the home via telephone which needs improvement though I understand the telephone service/equipment is being improved.
Thank you very much for taking the time and trouble to review Dovehaven Grove. I am sure that others looking for care for a loved one will find your feedback useful. Our home was only opened as a Dovehaven home in 2020, having been closed and totally refurbished. However, the wonderful character of...
Room was ready on arrival and they welcomed my grandad and the family with open arms and positivity. My grandad was a resident here for only a few months and whenever we were unable to visit they kept in touch and updated all the time. My grandad recently passed away at this care home and from the minute his health conditions deteriorated we were contacted and as a family, we were able to spend every minute with him.
Many thanks for taking the time and trouble to review Dovehaven Grove. Your feedback on the experience your family had will do much to reassure those searching for care that this home will be one to consider for their loved ones. We send our condolences to you and your family on the loss of your grandad. Kind regards.
My mum moved into Dovehaven Grove Care Home at the end of January and I'm in full admiration for the care and standards from all the staff. The manager is wonderful and together with all the staff provide a loving, caring and friendly environment. I can now sleep at night knowing my mum is safe and well cared for. Thank you to you all
Many thanks for your wonderful review, we do appreciate your kind words and feel pleased that you have peace of mind knowing your mother is safe and well cared for. Kind regards.
A lovely place, especially since the new manager took over, nothing is too small, especially when Mum is hard work at times with her dementia. She has settled down and accepts that this is her home. A special thank you to all the staff who care for her. A lovely clean and friendly place, thank you all.
Thank you very much for your wonderful review and your very kind words. Everyone works so hard to ensure that residents feel settled and happy, the team will be so pleased to know that you are able to see the benefits of this. Kind regards.
My father-in-law was moved from another care home. All staff involved in his move have made it a stress-free experience. He has settled in well and this is mainly due to the care staff making him feel safe and secure.
Thank you very much for taking the time and trouble to review Dovehaven Grove. The manager and her team work so hard to ensure that our new residents quickly feel safe and settled in their new home. We appreciate your feedback. Kind regards.
I had not seen my sister for 16 months because of COVID, my only communication was by phone, they always answered within a few rings and gave me clear information which was comforting to me. When I arrived I was made very welcome and was offered refreshment. My sister has just finished her lunch, she was clean, dressed and content. The staff were friendly and smiled and were attentive.
Many thanks for taking the time to review Dovehaven Grove, your comments and ratings are very much appreciated. Kind regards.
Lovely place, staff brilliant, can't do enough for my mum, very clean.
Kind regards
This was my first visit to Dovehaven Grove, and my first impressions are very positive. The setting of the residents is very good, with all doors secured, and a singing in book and keypads to access the stairs. Staff are polite and helpful, and the rooms and corridors are clean and airy. Furnishings are tasteful - everything looks new. My sister enjoys her food, which she says is good, and her dietary requirements are being met. She is still "finding her feet" with new routines and people.
Kind regards
This was my first visit to this care home and was extremely happy with the reception I got when I arrived. The staff were lovely and helpful.
Kind regards
I visited the care home twice during May and enjoyed my visits. The staff and management were friendly and helpful. My mum appeared to be very happy and comfortable during both visits.

I know he is being well cared for. He enjoys all the music and singing that they have most days. Staff always very helpful when you ring, nothing is too much trouble. They make sure he has drinks and soft food all day and is always nicely dressed. His room always tidy. The home is always nice and clean.

My sister moved into Dovehaven Grove in October 2020. She is very happy. She loves the activities and the staff. She was lonely at home but not anymore. There are lots going on. She really enjoys living at Dovehaven Grove. The management and all the caring staff are excellent, caring for my sister. They also take time to ask how the relatives are. I am very happy that my sister is safe and happy. I couldn't ask for more. Thank you.

The home has recently come under the care of a new manager. The home has a lovely lively atmosphere now, there is a new open-door policy and the residents all look clean and very happy. My dad has formed good friendships with residents and tells us how lovely and very kind all of the staff are. He's now a karaoke fan! Cannot praise the new manager enough and the fantastic hardworking staff. Thank you.

My Dad has been in Dovehaven since July 2020. It’s been a very challenging time due to COVID and the restrictions imposed on residents and families, however, things are now much better since being allowed back into the home. The home itself is spotless and modern. Dad is very happy with the food and with the staff who have been most helpful. I’m happy that he is well cared for in this lovely home.
