The staff are kind, caring, and genuinely compassionate. They treat residents with respect and always take the time to make my dad feel supported. The home is clean, well run, and has a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
The biggest change for me is the peace of mind. I can now leave after a visit knowing that my dad is safe and being looked after properly. Having nursing care available gives me even greater confidence that his needs are being met.
I've also noticed that my dad seems much more settled and relaxed.
Having experienced another care home that did not provide the standard of care we expected, I feel I can make a genuine comparison. The improvement has been remarkable, and I'm extremely grateful to everyone here for their care, kindness, and professionalism.
We're so pleased to hear that you're feeling more reassured and that the move has made such a positive difference for both you and your dad. It's especially heartening to know that he's feeling more settled and relaxed,...
We have found a safe & caring home for her after a stressful time for both of us at her previous placement.
The management & staff have been so helpful and I feel very comfortable with our decision to move here. My wife seems much more settled amongst a lovely group of people who have gone out of their way to make this work for my wife, myself & our family.
Thank you Paul for your kind words, we love having your lovely wife with us here and we a delighted to have helped relieve stress.
The home is precisely what it says a " home "
I have not met such lovely staff in a nursing home environment as I have here.
There will be teething problems when a loved one moves in to a new home but every single member of staff have been making this transition as easy as possible. Nothing is too much trouble and everyone seems to always have a smile.
I and our family are confident mum will settle fully over the next few weeks with the kindness and support offered here.
Thank you to all.
Thank you so much Marion, we adore your mum and all your wonderful family.
All members of staff were extremely kind and helpful.
we adored caring for your mum and are so happy you've had a lovely experience with us. all the best, Richmond Manor.
My mother and father have both been in residence at Richmond Manor! Sadly Dad passed away in December 2025, the care and compassion shown was exceptional. The are he received was excellent. Mum is still at the home, the staff couldn't be better, kind, caring & understanding. The home is kept in tip top condition. The staff also there to help & support family members at difficult times.
thank you so much for your kind words. our staff will appreciate reading this. It was an absolute pleasure to care for your father and is still a pleasure to care for your mother.
Richard manor is amazing they are so kind and approachable and look after my grandmother so well. I am so lucky to know she is being taken care of. Sophie is amazing on the second floor. All the staff are wonderful

We've been so worried about Grandad moving into Richmond, but the team have been absolutely amazing. They've helped him integrate and made him feel safe and at home. Thank you to you all for removing this worry from us.
We are so happy for choosing Richmond Manor for your Grandad and he has certainly fitted into the home life easily . You are welcome to come and visit as much as you like.
I cannot express enough my relief and gratitude to the the care team and staff at Richmond Manor. After 2 harrowing weeks I finally found somewhere mum can call home. Outstanding on every level, and peace of mind knowing mums been cared for in the manner she deserves at 99. Recommend 100%.
We are so blessed that you chose Richmond Manor for your lovely Mum. Seeing how quickly she has settled and feels at home brings happiness to the team. The team are all grateful that you have expressed that we are outstanding. Thank you.
My husband who has Lewy Body Dementia stayed here for 3 weeks in August/September and I stayed for 2 weeks in September whilst recovering from a hip replacement operation. We were on separate floors but able to share some meals together. The staff were exceptionally patient with my husband dealing with his confusion and unwillingness to cooperate even with the most basic routines. So much so that he settled well after a period and became quite content
For myself the 2 weeks convalescence was perfect. I was discharged after 2 days in hospital and it was the best thing for my recovery. The care I received was first class especially help with washing and showering, medication and the choice of meals to tempt my appetite and of course the adjustable bed. Coupled with regular walks around the gardens and daily activities it helped me to regain my strength. I couldn't have wished for better care and will certainly be using the home for respite in the future
We are so grateful that you have taken the time to leave a review for your husband's and, indeed, your own stay at Richmond Manor. The team thrive on giving outstanding care and dedication to all of our residents, whether it be respite or long stay. We value that you have outlined all aspects of...
Came for respite care (two weeks) and was made very welcome. The care was very kind and caring same as when my husband was here before he passed away.
Thank you for your lovely feedback on our home, we are thrilled to hear you had a lovely stay and were made to feel welcome and supported. We look forward to welcoming you back again.
A very caring and friendly atmosphere. The staff are fantastic and can't do enough to help you. Facilities are excellent: a film room, large and small lounges, an activity room and best of all, the coffee shop where residents can meet with each other and their visitors. There is a choice of menu at all meals, and if none suits you, you can order something else.

We're thrilled to hear that you've found the atmosphere so caring and friendly, and that our team has been able to support you in every way possible. It's wonderful to know that the facilities are being enjoyed, as these spaces are designed to bring people together and make every day special.
Our mother came to live at Richmond Manor at the end of 2024. We were made to feel very welcome right from the start, and the atmosphere is always very happy and friendly. The homemakers are very supportive and caring, and mums' personal care and needs are treated with care and understanding. Nothing is ever too much trouble for the homemakers.
Thank you so much for your kind words about Richmond Manor. Were delighted to hear that you and your mother felt so welcome from the very beginning. Creating a happy, friendly atmosphere where residents feel truly at home is at the heart of what we do, and its wonderful to know our Homemakers care...
The wonderful team at Richmond Manor saved my life! Seriously ill, I came from the hospital six months ago for 'End of Life Care'. Thanks to the dedicated care of lovely, friendly, and compassionate staff I have made a good recovery, now taking full care of myself and completely mobile. The care team are, without exception, a credit to Richmond Manor, their hard work and commitment creating such a happy and nurturing home. With their help I have been able to fulfil my wish to become well enough to go home, for which I am so grateful.

Dad recently had two weeks respite care at Richmond Manor. All the staff are so welcoming and helpful, the facilities are great and Dad's room was lovely and clean. Most importantly of all, the residents appeared to be happy and enjoying themselves. As Dad's only carer it's such a comfort to me to know that they are there to care so well for Dad when I need to have a break.
Thank you for your kind words. We're so pleased to hear your dad felt well cared for during his respite stay at Richmond Manor. It's wonderful to know that our team, facilities, and the warm atmosphere brought you both comfort and peace of mind. We're always here whenever you need us.
Our Mum lived at Richmond Manor for two years before she passed away at the age of 96. She had Alzheimer's, and when it was no longer safe for her to live at home, we were fortunate to find Richmond Manor.
Mum was very happy there-always smiling, always high-fiving everyone. The carers and staff were friendly, and some, in particular, were truly exceptional. Her room was cosy and homely, always kept clean, and she was well looked after. The food was great, though in her final years, she mostly preferred biscuits! They made sure she always had plenty of these while still offering proper meals.
It's a lovely environment. There was always a different space to take her such as quiet rooms, lovely garden or balcony. The café was especially sociable and welcoming.
Overall, Richmond Manor provided excellent care. When Mum passed away, the staff were genuinely sad, and some even attended her funeral, which meant so much to us. We can't thank them enough for their kindness and dedication.
Thank you so much for your heartfelt words and for sharing your Mum's story. We're truly honoured that Richmond Manor could be part of her journey, and it means the world to know she was happy here and surrounded by people who cared deeply for her. It's always our aim to create a home that feels...
Mum has absolutely flourished since she arrived in December. Her family and friends all say she hasn't been or looked better or happier in the last 2 years. We are so grateful to Richmond Manor, the atmosphere, the staff, the food, the activities, the care, the decor - All are outstanding.
Thank you for taking the time review our home, we are thrilled to hear how happy you are with everything and that mum is flourishing in her new home
My experience of Richmond Manor and it's staff and carers was nothing but amazing, friendly and very helpful and caring. Richmond Manor is so clean, modern and somewhere I would certainly tell anybody wishing to need a place for a family member.
