The staff and management were so kind in caring for my mother throughout her four years at Arbour Walk. The team were wonderful in making my mother feel safe, cared for and loved in the time she was there. My mother felt happy in her home.

The last days of my mother's life were very special. I cannot thank the staff enough for the way they looked after both my mother and myself (her daughter). Everybody showed great sympathy and went above and beyond to make the experience peaceful and dignified. They gave me immense support at a very emotional and sad time. Truly incredible people with such big hearts.

Thank you to everyone for sending me the beautiful bouquet of flowers, a lovely gesture which touched me.

A wonderful care home.

My parents moved into Arbour Walk 4 1/2 years ago. They both had different needs. I cannot praise highly enough the wonderful care that they both received, all the staff are friendly and helpful, and there is great support and help from management and admin staff who were always there to answer any questions. The medical and care staff are exceptional and caring. My parents were happy, safe and secure, and we have happy memories to keep.

I cannot recommend this home highly enough here are some reasons why...
My partner is a resident, and spends all her time in communal areas. I go there EVERY DAY, typically for between 2 and 4 hours, though occasionally longer or shorter. The time I go varies. Given the HUNDREDS of hours I have spent there I think I can give a reliable assessment.....
The staff genuinely care for their residents. It's not just patient professionalism, it is a level above that. The staff create a real sense of communal care, and there seem to be enough of them, so it is not lots of sessions of having to wait long periods every time something is needed.
The building is purpose built, with large wide corridors, we spend time on every floor.
The garden is also really good, even in winter. Super smooth path and ideal for wheeled chairs.
The food is amazing, much of the time being restaurant quality.

The cleanliness is brilliant, there seems to be someone cleaning on every floor at most times of the day.

My partner was in Arbour Walk from June 2023 until his recent death.
During that time, he was always shown excellent care and kindness.

The staff there were also very considerate of how I felt, especially since my recent illness.

My sister-in-law had been cared for by Arbour Walk since June 2021 until her death on the 7th November 2025. She had dementia and I cannot praise this home enough for the way that they looked after her. She was treated with respect, dignity and as a person, not someone who had lost their faculties. Every single member of staff always greeted you with smiles. Nothing was too much trouble and someone was always on hand to answer questions.

We will actually miss visiting because there was always a lovely welcome. An extremely well run home with wonderful staff.

My mother was admitted to Arbour Walk at the end of August 2025. She was transferred for end of life care. Mum had Alzheimer's. The staff at Arbour Walk were kind, caring and compassionate. They took excellent care of mum and nothing was too much trouble. I had struggled to care for mum at home. My last days with her are now with memories of mum being clean, cared for 24 hrs all her needs being met. The staff also welcomed us when we visited they were friendly and kind. I cannot praise this home enough. As a retired nurse I found the care excellent, above and beyond.

My mum-in-law had been a resident at Arbour Walk in Bristol for a few short weeks before her death recently.
We visited several times and in her last week and just wanted to say how impressed we have been with the facilities, level of staffing and care shown to her.
We have found everything extremely clean and the staff attentive, smiling, friendly and caring. The nurse in charge has taken time to answer the questions we had and was very reassuring regarding how mum has settled in and her care needs.

Would highly recommend to anyone needing care for a loved one.

My experience with Arbour Walk has been in one word: 'excellent'. My husband was firstly in for respite, then became permanent. The staff are so helpful, friendly and always very cheerful. My husband didn't settle at first, but the staff always communicated what was happening. Staff did their best to settle him, but things became difficult, so hospital admission was necessary. After 3 weeks in hospital, his medication has been sorted and he is much more settled. Even though my husband was in the hospital, Arbour Walk were always checking with the hospital and me to see how things were progressing. He has returned now, much more settled and being looked after brilliantly. Thank you so much, you don't know how much it means to me.

A wonderful caring home. Full of warmth and hard-working staff. Facilities are great and the whole care home is spotlessly clean. There is an incredible enthusiasm and dedication provided by all staff which does not go unnoticed. Communication is also superb.

The home has been very good, both during COVID and afterwards. The management is helpful and they do their best to sort out any problems. Staff are mostly caring, although there is quite a high turnover, which doesn't help people with dementia. Overall, a good place to be.

My husband has recently gone to Arbour Walk. He could not have gone to a nicer place. He has settled in so quickly. The whole staff, from manager to cleaner, are absolutely amazing. Nothing is too much trouble, and his care has been nothing less than outstanding. The facilities at Arbour Walk are 10/10. I can not praise the care home and staff any higher as it is 5*. Thank you to everyone involved in my husband's transition from hospital to Arbour Walk. I cannot thank you enough.

My mother has been here for 9 months. I have no concerns at all. The room is beautiful with bathroom. The food looks and smells amazing, full English breakfast, roast dinners, lasagne, pastries, birthday cakes made by the home, soups. Every day mum has a choice of food to pick from for the following day. They have had singers, zumba dancers and zoo reptiles attend and craft, cooking and wine and cheese events for residents. Mum has been on shopping excursions and to the Park and she is often asked if she wishes to go around their beautiful garden. She has chiropody and hairdressing at the home. Recently she has had her eyes tested. The staff are always smiley and pleasant even during very stressful times. I've worked in a care home years ago and have seen bad care but here I am very impressed with everything I see and hear.

Since my dad arrived at Arbout Walk, his care has been second to none. The carers meet all his needs and always have a smile on their face. There is always a nurse around which is really reassuring. When it comes to meals there is an option of three different meals so nobody goes hungry!

The wellbeing team put entertainment in the beautiful indoor garden room, cinema or even the bar area so there can always be things to do. Overall I think Arbour Walk has been a perfect fit for my dad and I know at all times he is being well looked after so I could not ask for more.

My Father had been in another care home since August 2023 during this time I noticed a steady decline in his well-being. So in April 2024, he moved to Arbour Walk, in the short time he has been at Arbour Walk there has been a vast improvement in his health and cleanliness. He is happy at his new home. This is all down to the manager and excellent care team at Arbour Walk. For which I will be eternally grateful. My Father and myself cannot thank all at Arbour Walk for their help and friendship.
