What I Do
As General Manager of Parkfield Grange, I lead the home with a focus on creating a safe, welcoming, and truly person-centred environment. Every day, I ensure our residents receive the highest standard of care while supporting and inspiring our team to deliver with warmth, professionalism, and respect. My role spans all aspects of the home, from care quality and compliance to resident experience, family relationships, and community engagement, always guided by our values.
My Experience
I have spent over 20 years in social care, progressing from Care Assistant to Care Home Manager, driven throughout by a genuine passion for supporting others. I bring extensive knowledge in delivering compassionate, person-centred care, with a particular focus on supporting residents with dementia. I have completed a university-level Dementia Specialist course, equipping me to understand complex care needs and ensure every resident receives support tailored to their individuality.
I am also passionate about mentoring and guiding our team, fostering a culture where professionalism, empathy, and respect are at the heart of everything we do. Families can feel reassured that their loved ones are supported by a team led with expertise, warmth, and confidence.
About Me
Outside work, I value family time with my husband, our two children, and our dog, which helps me stay grounded and maintain balance. I also enjoy travelling and creating lasting memories, which brings perspective, energy, and a sense of curiosity to my professional life.
What I Do
As Deputy Manager at Parkfield Grange, I work alongside the General Manager to lead the care team and ensure every resident receives compassionate, person-centred care. I oversee care delivery, support and mentor staff, and help create an environment where residents feel safe, valued, and at home. I am also one of the home’s “train the trainer” leads for Moving and Handling, delivering staff training to maintain the highest standards.
My Experience
I began my care career at 18 and returned after raising my family, completing Level 2 and 3 Health and Social Care qualifications and a Level 5 in Management and Leadership. Since joining Cinnamon in 2021, I have progressed from Night Senior to Team Leader and now Care Coordinator, gaining hands-on experience across all aspects of care.
About Me
I am happily married with four children and a house full of pets. I enjoy family time and special outings with my youngest daughter, which keep me energised, grounded, and ready to bring warmth and focus to everything I do at work.
What I Do
I am the Home Admissions Advisor at Parkfield Grange, supporting families and the local community in navigating the journey of finding the right care for their loved ones. I guide people through the process with clarity, empathy, and reassurance, helping them feel confident in their decisions every step of the way. Meeting new families and providing guidance is something I genuinely enjoy, and I take pride in making the experience as smooth and supportive as possible.
My Experience
With over ten years’ experience supporting families in care, I have developed in-depth knowledge of care options across the West Midlands, including residential, dementia, and nursing care. I began my career coordinating live-in care before moving into business development and customer liaison roles, gaining insight into the wide variety of care needs and how best to support people.
This breadth of experience allows me to offer clear, trusted guidance to families, helping them feel informed and reassured while exploring their options. I am particularly passionate about dementia care and ensuring families understand the choices available to meet their loved one’s needs.
About Me
I’m a proud mother to a lively young daughter, and I love spending time with my family, sharing in everyday moments and creating happy memories. I enjoy keeping active through alternative fitness classes, which keep me energized and focused. In quieter moments, I enjoy reading or engaging in creative colouring, which allows me to reflect and bring calm and attentiveness into all I do.
WHAT I DO: I am the activity coordinator at Parkfield Grange and moved into this post in June 2023. My role within the home is to put together a programme of activities to keep all the residents engaged and active within our community. This includes meeting with the residents to understand their likes, dislikes and hobbies and planning activities according to these. This also involves putting together large events within the home and booking outside vendors such as singers, musicians and theatre companies.
MY EXPERIENCE: I have worked within health and social care for most of my career for the past 17 years. I began within the NHS working as an ambulance call taker and then moved to work as a Nursing Assistant within hospitals. I then made the move to working in rehabilitation as a Therapy Support Worker, working with the elderly population in hospitals specialising in rehabilitation following hip surgery. After doing this for nearly 3 years, I made the move to work in a local nursing home as an activity coordinator, but due to the pandemic, I quickly moved to a Care and Senior Carer position within the home, working with dementia residents. I made the move to Parkfield Grange in 2021 as a Senior Care Assistant.
ABOUT ME: I have a Border Terrier puppy called Ruby who loves to come in to work with me and enjoys cuddles and walks in the garden with all our residents.
In my spare time, I enjoy time with my family, long walks and days out with Ruby, and when we are able, love to travel the world, visit new places and meet new people. I also have a weakness for shopping.
What I Do
As Head Chef, I lead our fantastic catering team at Parkfield Grange. Together, we focus on creating nutritious, delicious meals that residents truly enjoy. We regularly hold food forums so residents can share their thoughts and ideas, helping us shape menus that reflect their tastes and preferences while supporting a healthy, balanced diet.
My Experience
I am classically trained from college and began my career working in restaurants and pubs, providing fine dining experiences. I hold NVQ Levels 1, 2 and 3 in Professional Cookery and have spent the past two years specialising in care home catering. I am particularly passionate about creating new and exciting dishes using fresh ingredients, and I was proud to receive the Young Rotary Chef Award earlier in my career.
About Me
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my two children and making the most of family days out, especially camping trips. I am also a big sports fan and enjoy following rugby, football, particularly West Bromwich Albion, and boxing.
What I Do
I oversee all aspects of hospitality within the home, ensuring residents receive high-quality, person-centred service every day. I also coordinate private dining and special celebrations, ensuring that every event and dining experience meets the quality and expectations our residents deserve.
My Experience
I have many years of experience in hospitality and customer service, working across luxury hotels and care environments. I have progressed from frontline roles into management and supervisory positions, developing strong leadership, training, and operational skills. Throughout my career, I have focused on delivering high standards, building positive team cultures and creating exceptional experiences for residents and guests.
About Me
Outside of work, I love food and enjoy trying different cuisines. I have a loving partner whom I enjoy spending time with, and a miniature dachshund called Flynn who keeps me busy and smiling. I also practise pole fitness, which helps me stay fit and build core strength. I bring the same energy and enthusiasm into my work that I do into my personal life.
