From the moment you walk through the door, this doesn't feel like a care home - it feels like a welcoming hotel and, more importantly, like one big family. Every member of staff is warm, kind and genuinely caring. They all know my dad by name and treat him with such compassion, dignity and respect that it is clear he is valued as an individual, not just a resident.
As a family, there is no greater comfort than knowing that when we can't be with him, he is being cared for to the very highest standards. The staff go above and beyond every single day, not because they have to, but because they truly care. Their kindness, professionalism and dedication shine through in everything they do.

I cannot thank the team enough for everything they have done for my dad. I would recommend this care home without hesitation.

My wife went into Old Sarum Manor on respite for 3 weeks, and has stayed in as we feel she needs the care on offer. She has settled in well now and we are very happy the way she is looked after. It is more like a hotel than a care home. All the staff very friendly and the food is of a very high standard. Rooms are always very clean. All arears are very clean and there is always a carer on hand. We feel lucky to have my wife in Old Sarum Manor being looked after, cant fault it.

My mum was initially on respite care after severa hospital stays. She settled in at Old Sarum Manor quickly and seemed very happy. After a chat, she asked me if she could stay on. She said she felt safe, well looked after and was enjoying the company. So that's what we did. She has now been a resident for 7 months. Her health has improved enormously, she's happy, enjoys the activities and the food. The staff are always kind and caring with a sense of fun and respect. And they keep me updated too.

I have went into Old Sarum Manor recently to visit a family friend. When I came to the home I was greeted by a very happy lady welcoming me to the home and advising me where my friend was staying and also said that I could help myself to a hot drink from the coffee machine and also the cake that was by it (I had two slices of leman drizzle cake,) I did ask when the next batch was being made as I will make sure I am visiting again that day!
I was then shown to my friend, who was sat in an activity being held, he was sat there with the biggest smile on his face he has often said how much he loves it there.
The staff were so helpful. The atmosphere surrounding the home was amazing and comforting.
All residents seemed happy and cheerful!
The cleanliness was outstanding and did not smell like a "care home"

I will be back soon for another slice of cake!!! Or two!!

We moved Mum from another care home due to significant issues which have been flagged. Since Mum has been at Old Sarum Manor she is positive about the home in all aspects and the welfare and facilities are amazing. From the family perspective we are delighted with the manager and his team and the effort they go to, to treat the residents as individuals and cater for their needs. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this home to others!

My husband has been in Old Sarum Care Home for just about a year now, and although he suffers from Parkinson's and dementia, he is, as far as I'm concerned, very happy where he is.
The carers who look after him are wonderful; he is helped daily with showers, shaving, toiletries, dressing, and most importantly, he gets his tablets on time.

I couldn't wish for a better place for him to stay.

We couldn't be happier with the care our loved one receives here. The staff are genuinely kind and caring, always going the extra mile to make residents feel safe and valued. The environment is beautiful and peaceful-perfect for creating a sense of comfort and home. Their experience with dementia care is clear, and it gives us real peace of mind. There's a great range of appropriate activities that keep residents engaged, and the overall community has such a warm, welcoming feel. What really sets it apart are the family events like the Mad Hatter's Easter Party and the Summer Spanish Fiesta. These thoughtful occasions create such special memories and bring everyone together. Communication with families is excellent-we're always kept informed and feel reassured. A truly exceptional place.

Our mother was a resident of Old Sarum Manor from February 2023 until May this year, when she passed away.

She and we could not have been happier with Old Sarum. She felt completely safe and well cared for throughout and was treated with real affection and thought throughout, which obviously meant a great deal to us. The whole team were incredibly kind, professional and genuinely made her and our lives better. I'm not sure we could have hoped for more.

Our late mother lived at Old Sarum Manor for approximately six months leading up to her death in April 2025. Whilst she was tentative at first, she very quickly adjusted to life in the home, where all her needs were met, her health was closely monitored and she was kept safe & secure. In such a short time, we, as a family, came to know many of the members of staff, who were always attentive and professional. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and our mother found life so much more bearable, given some challenging health issues, because of that. Reflecting back, and despite our loss, we have nothing but positive memories of Old Sarum Manor and the level of care provided. We would recommend this care home, without hesitation - it truly is a 'home from home'!

All staff are very friendly and welcoming and nothing is to much trouble.

Management are always on hand to give support and information. Residents are always treated with dignity. As well as caring for there residents they are always there to support the families. Room's are bright and modern. Communal areas are warm and welcoming. The food is very good with plenty of variety as are the drinks. There are plenty of activities to do if residents wish to join in.

My father recently turned 91 at the care home and my sister and myself were able to join my mother and father, along with our partners for a Sunday meal. The meal and the staff who waited on us were excellent. Many thanks to everyone who made it possible.

Soon visiting my dear friend during her stay at Old Sarum Manor, I was held back in shock by the look of the home and the welcome that I received from the staff. When entering the home it felt nothing like a care home more like a hotel! The staff seemed all happy and the atmosphere was so lifting.
My friend seems to be very happy here and looking forward to the rest of her stay here.
I stayed for lunch with her and the food tasted as good as it smelt. Can't find any fault from my visit.

If I'm asked do I know of anywhere, I will not be thinking twice about recommending your beautiful home.
