Everyone has shown my mum kindness and compassion since her arrival for her respite stay at Sutton Park Grange following her accident.

Carers and other staff have responded to her needs whenever necessary.

Thank you for your kind words, and we look forward to seeing Mum on the road to recovery very soon.

My two weeks stay after leaving hospital has been a great help to my recovery. The surroundings, food - everything excellent, and the staff so kind and caring. I would have no hesitation in recommending Sutton Park Grange to anyone.

Review from Charisse R (Niece of Resident) published on 15 February 2022 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience

We were dissatisfied with the level of care that my uncle was receiving at his previous care home. We researched various care homes in the Sutton Coldfield area and then arranged to attend at Sutton Park Grange for a preliminary inspection. From the outset, we were impressed with the standard of the premises, the facilities for residents and the staff that we met. We subsequently arranged for my uncle to be transferred to Sutton Park Grange. We have been totally satisfied with all aspects of the care that he is receiving and the professionalism of all the staff. We are always made to feel welcome and that the comfort and happiness of the residents is the home's first priority.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write such kind words; your uncle is a pleasure to care for and to see how he is settling in here at Sutton Park Grange is a delight.

I am a resident at Sutton Park Grange. I have been here three months and found the surroundings and care excellent. We have various activities arranged, which stimulates us mentally and physically. The carers work hard to keep us comfortable.

As from October, this year when my friend moved in, the home has changed her for the best. The staff are all so helpful, friendly and very well trained for her dementia care that she needs. The food is excellent and very well presented. I feel that she now has excellent care in an excellent environment. Many thanks to each and everyone involved.

My friend has only been at Sutton Park Grange care home for a short while, but have really noticed a big change in her. She is more relaxed and has gained a little weight too. The care given here is excellent in every way. All staff are very helpful, polite and knowledgeable. Food is excellent. The home itself is like a hotel. Absolutely beautiful inside with everything you could possibly need. A very calm and relaxed atmosphere with beautiful decor throughout. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff if you need anything. Thank you.

From the moment I entered Sutton Park Grange, I knew it was an extremely well run home, and my expectations have been exceeded. All members of staff, at all levels, are competent, always looking to make your stay memorable and sincerely friendly. Dad has received excellent care during his respite stay here. A real home from home; staff make all the family feel so welcome. Dad has enjoyed his meals and drinks, and the hospitality extended to all the family. It's a pleasure to visit such a pleasant atmosphere. Would thoroughly recommend it but hope Dad will be able to return when needed if a room is available.

On our first visit to see my grandmother we were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the hojmme and the staff were pleasant and very helpful.

Although my Nan has only been there a short while all of the staff were familiar with her and she seemed very happy. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Even as visitors we were offered drinks on arrival.

The management and staff are all going above and beyond to support and care for the residents, their family members and friends. The food is amazing, the activities are varied and enjoyable, and the communication is fantastic (nothing is too much), and the care is given to my gran, and the other residents are individually tailored to the resident to ensure it is the best for them.

It is always lovely to see management around and on the floor, and the home is beautifully decorated - even if Gran does like the shiny, sparkly coasters for herself! All of you are fab!

My dad had resisted the idea of moving into a care home for some time saying, 'why would I want to leave my lovely home', but I could see he was struggling more and more on his own. So it was such a relief to me when he asked that I take him to the first open day. He was so impressed he wanted to sign up there and then! It was the best decision he made, and that was the most important thing for me, that it was his decision... As you can see from the pictures and videos, the home is beautifully decorated and furnished with all facilities and everything you need on hand, and the garden is beautiful too with plenty of outdoor seating. The staff are all lovely and caring as you would expect, nothing is too much trouble. And the food is outstanding and lots of it - Dad has put on weight, which is great as he certainly could do with it! There are activities as well, which you can join in or not, and everybody is always very welcoming to me and Dad's visitors.

I help families who are looking for care for their loved ones, but often, most people have no idea where to start. This can be an emotionally difficult time for the families, and I take my time to understand what their needs are, find out about their relative, the life they have lived and provide them with the relevant details on all aspects of the care we offer. I will then organise the assessment, paperwork & move in, before handing over to our amazing care team who help the residents settle into their new lives here at Sutton Park Grange.

My role as Well-being & Lifestyle Coordinator is to organise meaningful activities for the residents, which are tailored to dementia where appropriate.

I used to run a surf and yoga retreat in Sri Lanka before moving back to the UK, where I worked in a nursing home as a care assistant and activities coordinator for three years before coming to join the team at Sutton Park Grange.

Out of work, I enjoy walking in Sutton Park and practicing Yoga.

I also play the Handpan and like playing this for the residents, too!
