I contacted Droitwich Mews needing urgent respite care when my elderly mum became unwell and couldn't look after my dad. From the first contact with reception to the care staff that visited the house to access him everyone was kind and professional. They put us all at ease at a really difficult time. Dad stayed over Christmas, the staff made it special for all the residents. They welcomed my mum and the rest of the family when they were working and not with their own loved ones. The home is spotless, beautifully decorated but it's the staff that make it shine.

Things have improved a lot over the last few months. Our relative became a resident at Droitwich Mews in July 2023. Initially, things were very good but then following changes in staff, lack of activities the standard of care deteriorated and it was noticeable in our relatives' behaviour. Over the last few months, things have improved noticeably and there is a happier buzz around the home.

Mum moved into the Mews 18 months ago. I am absolutely delighted with the care and support she has received. In fact I have recommended the Mews on at least 2 occasions. It's not easy visiting mum with dementia but I always walk out with a smile on my face and warmth in my heart knowing that she is in the best place possible.

Absolutely fabulous care home with supportive, friendly and caring staff, not just for the relatives staying here but for the families too. I can't think of anywhere else I would like my stepdad to be it is such a wonderful place.

The best care home I have ever visited. This is the standard every care home should aspire to.

Very cheerful and lovely environment. Plenty going on. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Also very tolerant of constant questions and requests for help. Food is good. Both my sister and her husband are eating much better than they were at home, and have put on weight. Lots of activities but unfortunately usually have forgotten them by the time I get there.

Very impressed with the warmth and friendliness of everybody we spoke to. The facilities offered are very exceptional more like going on holiday than being looked after. Would not hesitate to recommend.

We put Dad here for respite care so he could recover from a spell in hospital. He is very happy and pleased with the home.

During the period Droitwich Mews needed to restrict visits, we were kept up to date with regular phone calls, which we very much appreciated. Thank you!

Staff are very friendly and I always feel welcome and residents who I see do seem very happy and well cared for by the staff.

The staff are wonderful and really interact with the residents. There are activities on daily and we sang carols around the piano on Monday. All the residents were given a Christmas hat to wear and it certainly got everybody into the Christmas spirit. The food served daily is delicious, as well as the cakes and coffee during the course of the day. I highly recommend the home to anyone looking for somewhere for a relative to live comfortably and safely.

I can't thank the staff enough for their kindness, professionalism and caring attention in looking after my mom during her short stay at Droitwich Mews. Everyone at the home are so thoughtful and kind and supportive to my husband and I when Mom passed away. These memories will stay with me forever.

The staff are very good and make you feel welcome when you visit. The home is spotlessly clean and does not smell of urine as some do.

Dad has recently been feeling unwell after having had a chest infection. I have witnessed the care and support that he has received. This in turn reassures me that I can leave them to it and make sure Dad has everything he needs for his care. The team are united in their support for Dad and I am very grateful for that. I know I can turn to any member of the team if necessary.

I came to the home with friends to have lunch with one of the residents. We were impressed by the friendliness and professional approach of the staff. The food was excellent and the meal was very pleasant, being served in the private dining area. The staff showed us around the home afterwards and we were very impressed by the spacious nature of the facilities, the cleanliness and overall provision for the comfort of the residents.

So pleased my parents are here and so happy.

A very friendly and caring home. The staff are excellent, professional and willing to go the extra mile. I was very impressed with the food, very tasty and the menu very varied. Reception area is beautifully designed and I was greeted with a warm, friendly smile. I would love to be there myself.

A lovely care home with excellent facilities and very friendly, caring staff. Lots of rooms for communal use, but plenty of others if you want privacy and quiet. Very good food, with lots of home-made cakes and biscuits. Always something going on and the carers try to include as many residents as possible.

My mother was in respite care at Droitwich Mews, before being moved to permanent care in another part of the country. Despite her sometimes challenging behaviour and repetitious conversation (due to her increasing dementia), she was treated with kindness and patience. The food was varied and tasty and my mother really enjoyed her afternoon cake. The housekeeping is of a high standard and the general decor is restful and tasteful.

My sister is well looked after. She has so many opportunities to attend activities, which she enjoys. The care she receives is outstanding and the communication between myself and the home is very good.
