All the staff are absolutely amazing and we privileged for mum to be in a very good care home. They all work above and beyond. Mum's loves the trips out and has asked for more as she's enjoys them so much. Mum says the food is excellent. She has made some wonderful life long friends too.

The manager, Clem, is excellent and demands excellence from all his staff. Blerta's weekly activities plan provides an exciting, engaging and varied programme. The residents benefit greatly from the activities and love to go on the regular minibus trips. Relatives are always welcome and encouraged to join in the activities too. She has been made extremely welcome and all the staff have been very professional and kind, taking every effort to integrate mum with other residents in the dining room and lounges for activities. The activities are various and exciting - always plenty on offer each day. Her room is spotless, the food is excellent and the staff totally supportive and caring. We were rescued by these wonderful people at a very stressful time and they have truly helped us in such a calm and supportive way. We are most grateful to the entire team.

Mum moved permanently to Waterside Court in September 2021. She has dementia and over the past three years there have been significant changes in what she has been able to achieve. She has always appreciated the care and support she receives from all staff (including house keeping and cleaning staff) and now she is further along her dementia journey this helps her to feel secure with the people she sees routinely. This is so important when life as you once knew it is falling away from you. Mum's ability to enjoy activities is considerably less than it was but she is taken to all the activities, of which there are plenty, and she enjoys them. Enjoyment of being 'in the moment' is vital. From the minute you walk in to Waterside Court you are received with welcoming smiles and are made to feel at home.
