Our stay at Waterside Court has been an excellent transition between discharge from hospital and being able to return home. The staff are excellent and extremely friendly and caring. All residents are treated with kindness and respect. We would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone,
Thank you very much for your feedback. This means a lot to the team. It was a priviledge having you here at Waterside Court. We hope to see you again soon.
He came to you for 2 weeks respite care while I went away on holiday. To be honest we were both a bit apprehensive about it but on picking my dad up earlier today I could tell he has had a really happy time with you. He has told me all about his time there how friendly and loving the staff were and the amount of activities going on was amazing, and, the food he said was excellent.
I did ask him if I went away again would he like to stay at home of come back to you and he said, without hesitation, he would like to go back.
This made the holiday I had even better as I know we made the right decision for him to come to you.
He has just booked in for another week of respite for later in the year.
Thank you so much for your kind words. It was great having your father here for his 'holiday' and it was a pleasure to see him enjoying his time here. We were all sad to see him leaving at the end of his respite stay, but nevertheless we will see him again soon. We hope his next stay will even be better as he now knows the home, other residents and the staff.
A most impressive feature is the quality of the care given by the staff, warm, detailed, knowledgeable and sprinkled with empathy. I imagine the manager should be compliemented for this, breathing these qualities into the staff. I have already reserved a week's respite in December.
Just one worry for me - the ansence of a grab rail on the shower wall.
Thank you so much for your encouraging words for the team here. We are so pleased to hear that you enjoyed your respite stay. Our Life Enrichment programme is unparralled and we continue to look for more ways to ensure everyone's individualism and their hobbies is reflected in daily activities provision. Thank you so much for your feedback and we look forward to seeing you again soon.
The manager, Clem, is excellent and demands excellence from all his staff. Blerta's weekly activities plan provides an exciting, engaging and varied programme. The residents benefit greatly from the activities and love to go on the regular minibus trips. Relatives are always welcome and encouraged to join in the activities too. I would not hesitate to recommend Waterside Court to anyone seeking care for a friend or relative. It really is like one big happy family living in a beautiful country home.
Thank you so much for such encouraging feedback. We are so pleased to hear that your mum is doing well and enjoying living here at Waterside Court. Our aim is for our residents to experience Premium care and Life Enrichment, and our team here will always try to do their best. Thank you again for your kind words and for your support with activities in the home.
David my husband really enjoys his time at Waterside in Wallingford. He is very well looked after and enjoys the company and conversations with other residents. It also gives me a break from caring and confidence that he is well looked after with all his needs met. He goes back regularly so has got to know the lovely staff and residents. He is always welcomed and enjoys many aspects of his time there with lots of activities.
Thank you very much for your kind words. We are always happy to see your husband back for respite and he is always the soul of the party. Other residents here are always pleased to see him as he is very social and always smiling. We look forwardto seeing him again soon.
I no longer have to worry about her safety or her state of mind. I know she is happy and well cared for by lovely caring staff.
Thank you so much for your kind words. this means a lot to us as a team. We are very pleased to hear that your mum has settled well and enjoying her time here at Waterside Court. Your mum is a very social person and has easily managed to make friends here and always 'the soul of the party.' It is very assuring and great to see our residents flourising.
My mother has been at Waterside Court for around six weeks. During that time she has had outstanding care. All the staff are bright, smart and attentive - from the cleaners to the managers. The activities are brilliant - sit-down keep fit, singalongs, painting, cycling - they even had Easter chicks hatching. A doctor visits once a week so any health issues are dealt with promptly. Food is great and mealtimes relaxed. I cannot fault the care and service mum has received.
Thank you so much for your kind words. We are very pleased to hear that your mum has settled well in the home. The team here do their best to ensure all residents enjoy our Life Enrichment program and the variety of person centred activities on offer.
I am so pleased we have found somewhere where she is looked after so well; it is very reassuring.
We are so pleased to hear that your mum has settled well and enjoying living here. Thank you so much for your encouraging and kind words.
Mum was accepted for respite care within days of us making the initial phone call. She has been made extremely welcome and all the staff have been very professional and kind, taking every effort to integrate mum with other residents in the dining room and lounges for activities. The activities are various and exciting - always plenty on offer each day. Her room is spotless, the food is excellent and the staff totally supportive and caring. We were rescued by these wonderful people at a very stressful time and they have truly helped us in such a calm and supportive way. We are most grateful to the entire team.
Thank you so much for your heart warming words. We are glad that your mum has settled well in the home.
Ten out of ten, no question!! My brother moved here in November. From the very first day, the care he has received has been exceptional. The highest standards of care are normal here, nothing is too much trouble. He has been allocated a key worker who watches out for him every day, making sure his every need is met. The food is like a five star hotel!!! Fabulous. But the best thing, by far, is the range of activities that are offered. So many thoughtful and stimulating events are provided every day, it is quite beyond anything I expected. Bravo everyone!! Just perfect.
Thank you so much for your feedback. We are all pleased that your brother is settling in well and the staff are just fond of him.
Blerta lays on amazing activities to keep their brains working!

Waterside Court is a very welcoming place, friendly staff, and people like the General Manager Clem make a huge difference as he is very approachable. The home is always tidy and clean and the bedrooms are lovely. Activities are great and there is a wide range and variety of activities where my husband can participate.
Thank you so much for your kind words. We are all pleased to hear that your husband has settled well and is enjoying activities in the home.
I can highly recommend Waterside Court to others seeking a safe and happy home from home.

Very friendly and caring staff. Extremely clean and warm home. There are lots of activities every day which my mother enjoys and looks forward to. She really enjoys the food in the restaurant and normally sits with the same residents/ friends each day.

She never feels a burden on staff as they understand her needs.
The Waterside has a very happy environment where residents feel safe and comfortable.
It's a huge relief for me to know that my mum is happy joining in with knitting, exercise and singalong classes. Mealtimes are also a wonderful social gathering for all the residents.
The dining room is beautiful with linen tablecloths and napkins. Only the best is good enough!

Luckily, the senior general manager was able to do an immediate assessment of my brother's requirements & within 24 hours my brother was a resident in a lovely room. He has been reinvigorated by the staff & the company of other residents. We could not have asked for more considerate staff attending Ian's needs. Many thanks to all concerned.
Thank you very much for taking time to share your positive experience. We are very glad that your brother has settled well in the home and is enjoying being part of this beautiful community and sharing with others the expeience of our Life Enrichment program. I look forward to sharing with you one of our specialty coffees on your next visit to the home.
The manager is very good at interacting with the residents. He's very approachable if there's any issues.I'm able to take my friend for days out if she wants to.She has a little patio/garden outside of her room, which we have planted lots of plants to make it more enjoyable to look out to,this makes it feel more like home for her.

She enjoys meal times and is very well cared for. There's always someone on hand if needed. There are lot's of activities to participate in if you wish to.She has celebrated two birthday party's,Waterside court added all the special touches to make it memorable.i would highly recommend this home.
Thank you very much for your kind words. We are glad that your friend is having a great experience living here.
Mum moved permanently to Waterside Court in September 2021. She has dementia and over the past three years there have been significant changes in what she has been able to achieve. She has always appreciated the care and support she receives from all staff (including house keeping and cleaning staff) and now she is further along her dementia journey this helps her to feel secure with the people she sees routinely. This is so important when life as you once knew it is falling away from you. Mum's ability to enjoy activities is considerably less than it was but she is taken to all the activities, of which there are plenty, and she enjoys them. Enjoyment of being 'in the moment' is vital. From the minute you walk in to Waterside Court you are received with welcoming smiles and are made to feel at home.
Thank you very much for your kind words. As a team we are very plivileged to have your mum here at Waterside Court and we appreciate all the support you give mum and the care team.
Mum is very calm and relaxed and this is all down to the excellent care she receives from all the staff. We, as a family, are comforted that Mum is safe and secure and is well looked after.
She is in a lovely room close to the dining room and lounge area, where she is often found when the family come to visit.
Thank you very much for your feedback. We are glad your mum is doing well and truly settled.
