My experience of Beckenham Park Care Home was excellent. As soon as you walked in you were greeted. All the staff were very helpful, friendly & always willing to help. The home is beautifully keep & very clean.

The home is beautiful, very modern, well looked after; very clean, organised. I describe it to other people as being more like a 5 star hotel. The flat was great, a one bedroom flat, perfect for dad Lovely food and dining facilities. Excellent activity co-ordinators & activites that my father really
enoyed & benefited from. I thought the staff were great, from the manager to the receptionist, nurses, cleaners, lovely garden and garden maintenance, hostesses, all really friendly & helpful. Cannot fault Beckenham Park Care Home.

My mother was a resident at Avery, Beckenham for 2 years 4 months and I can honestly say that during her stay she received excellent care and was treated with kindness, dignity and respect at all times. My sister and I visited most days and found all the staff friendly and helpful. When my mother became
ill (she had at this time completely lost her sight) she was cared for by all with great compassion and my sister and I received great support from all at Avery throughout a difficult and sad time.

What a fabulous care home. Wonderful staff, decor is superb and very relaxing, rooms very inviting and clean and so many lovely daily activities it's hard to choose. My mother is always made very welcome and she absolutely loves staying at the home which is so reassuring.

This was the second time that my father had stayed in Beckenham Park Care Home for respite care. Once again, he was cared for very well by all staff and management. The break did him the world of good and he left with a more positive attitude and feeling much better.

My mother has been a resident at Beckenham Park Care Home for two years. She is now blind and needs help for just about everything. I find the staff at Beckenham Park to be excellent, from the nurses to the supervisors and carers, office staff, cleaning, catering and reception. My mother is well cared
for and often the cares just pop by her apartment for an extra visit to see her for a quick hello which brightens up her day.
I feel confident and reassured that my mother is in safe, kind hands.

Beckenham Park Care Home is one of the most professional nursing homes I have ever encountered. The whole atmosphere is one of welcome from both the staff and the environment. Staff on the dementia unit are caring and patient, offering a high standard of care in a sometimes challenging unit.

The care at Beckenham Park Care Home is excellent in every area of care. The one area I would mention which is unique to here is the staff. They are exceptional in the level of care they provide to every resident, treating everyone as an individual with respect, dignity and paying attention to their
individual needs. From the minute one walks in the door to be greeted by the receptionists, visitors are aware of the warmth of the place and high standards of cleanliness and care with great attention to detail.

My 99-year-old father moved into Beckenham Park Care Home at the end of July 2023 and hasn't looked back. He is happy, settled and well cared for, and we can relax knowing that he is safe and his needs are met. He loves his accommodation and is learning to be looked after rather than fending for himself
and relying solely on his family. We have also been impressed with the number of activities on offer every week and seeing happy and positive staff members around the home.

My aunt moved into the care home and was very reluctant to move from her home after forty-five years. However, the care, compassion, support and empathy that all the staff gave her was amazing.

Our overall experience of Avery is excellent. My one criticism/disappointment was the lack of food back from a fairly recent diagnosis my mother received. I do think this could be improved.

Overall, my experience of the care home is very favourable. The staff, on which the standard is established, are generally excellent. They are very helpful, considerate, patient and understanding of residents' problems. It is very interesting that, as a respite or temporary resident, one finds a high
level and acclaim from the permanent residents - it says a lot for the standard of the staff.

My father has enjoyed excellent care at Beckenham Park. The staff are all wonderful, from the nurses and carers to the hospitality and domestic teams and activities. Very grateful that he can be cared for somewhere where I know he is so well looked after.

I visit my good friend at least twice a week at Beckenham Park Care Home. The receptionist is always very welcoming and helpful. All staff are amazing, I enjoy seeing all residents participating in the daily activities.

My father went into respite care in July whilst we went on holiday. When we returned to collect him and take him home he was reluctant to leave the home. He had had a lowly 'holiday ' and had made some new friends. On returning home he was lonely and missed all the activities and stimulus the home provided.
He was happy to return as a permanent resident and we as a family are pleased he is in safe hands and enjoying life with new friends and we can call in whenever we wish.

I joined care homes and social care in April 2018 as General manager for the very successful Parklands Manor in Chertsey. Prior to that I had extensive senior management experience as a nurse and director in the NHS and private healthcare. I have found the move to Social care hugely rewarding in being able to focus on not only providing the highest quality care and physical security for our residents but also ensuring that we focus on mental and psychological wellbeing to maximise independence encouraging ‘living well in later life’
I have an MBA from Brighton University, and I have maintained my registered nursing qualification specialising in Trauma, Orthopedics and Ophthalmology. I also undertake CQC inspections up to three times per year as a specialist advisor for the CQC.
I am opened this new care home in October 2021 and have built a team that can offer a real sense of community and independent living and embedded within the Beckenham neighbourhood

I started my working career with a five year apprenticeship as an electrician working just off Parliament Square, central London, I then went to work as a machine engineer for Granada and subsequently went into gaming industry for over 21 years finishing in 2008 as a General Manager.


In 2008, I moved into care and have worked for a range of companies including small charities to the most luxurious of care homes where I worked as Maintenance Manager and Maintenance Engineer.


I have previously worked for Signature and knowing Signature’s ethos on training and innovation I was very keen to rejoin when the opportunity arose to assist in opening Signature at Beckenham, my first new-build Signature care home.


Since joining I have not been let down, my colleagues have all been very welcoming not just at Beckenham but at the other Signature care homes I have visited as well as all of the support staff visiting and supporting us here in Beckenham.


Having viewed the new home in the process of being constructed you can clearly see the difference between Signature and any other care home provider, from air conditioning in every room and vast amounts of space and great attention to detail it’s hard to think of anything that could be better, there are even large staff areas and staffrooms.
