My father has enjoyed excellent care at Beckenham Park. The staff are all wonderful, from the nurses and carers to the hospitality and domestic teams and activities. Very grateful that he can be cared for somewhere where I know he is so well looked after.

My father went into respite care in July whilst we went on holiday. When we returned to collect him and take him home he was reluctant to leave the home. He had had a lowly 'holiday ' and had made some new friends. On returning home he was lonely and missed all the activities and stimulus the home provided.
He was happy to return as a permanent resident and we as a family are pleased he is in safe hands and enjoying life with new friends and we can call in whenever we wish.

Signature has been very good since we first started dealing with them. My mum is now in the home, and they have been excellent. Mum had an unsettled start, but they settled her as soon as possible. The staff have been very good.

The whole process of moving my mother into the home was seamless. The staff were super helpful and really made the process for my mother a great experience. The home is a fantastic place. Very clean, attentive staff, countless activities and great meal choices - nothing like the other traditional care
homes I visited.

My husband has returned to Signature dementia unit after a respite one-month period last October. It is a no-brainer to bring him back permanently. He received such a warm welcome from everyone and all the lovely carers who previously looked after him.
Every level of care is catered for by the competent
management, maintenance crew, wonderful activity and reception and restaurant staff. Above all, the amazing carers; their compassion is exemplary! Always respecting and listening with a friendly approach, nothing is ever too much for them.
My husband’s room is bright and airy and equipped with mod cons. The home itself is beautifully furnished with surrounding space and great amenities serving all residents and visitors alike.
I had viewed various other homes with my husband, and Signature is second to none to consider for the care of a loved one, knowing they will be safe and ultimately looked after well is of the utmost importance. Without hesitation, I genuinely give it the thumbs up!

My mother was initially firmly against the idea of leaving her home, but after an initial visit to Signature at Beckenham, she was bowled over by the beautiful facilities and warm, friendly welcome. Having taken the decision to move, she couldn't wait to get there! She has a lovely spacious apartment
with her own furniture and belongings but has access to the wonderful facilities on offer. The whole place definitely has the feel of a luxury hotel, with two restaurant areas, small cosy sitting rooms, a cafe, a cinema, a large room for activities, a hair salon, a spa bathroom etc. Every day there is an extensive programme of activities to suit all residents. The food is fantastic, with 3-course lunch and dinner on offer as well as a "light bites" menu. So far, the staff have been so lovely and friendly and welcoming, and my mum has been given a new lease of life. You can't get much better than this if you are looking for residential care, and care support can be increased as required.

My husband has been in Signature at Beckenham since last summer, and overall, we are more than satisfied with our decision. My husband was blue-lighted to the hospital after having a seizure. My daughters and I maintained a 24-hour watch on him. He has dementia. When he returned from the hospital, all
the staff were genuinely pleased to have him back. It really did feel as if he was being welcomed home.

My father first visited the home three weeks ago and quickly decided he'd like to move in.
The place is beautifully set in a green area of Langley Park with a garden.
It's immediately welcoming, with all staff apparently lovely and incredibly accommodating. The cafe, which is free for residents to
take their visitors to has a good range of drinks and snacks.
Rooms are very accessible with good WiFi and a phone point and kitchenette including sink and fridge. I love the way residents bring their own furniture to make it theirs.
There are lots of areas residents can choose to go to, as well as a wide range of activities. My dad told me he'd been to yoga for the first time!
Overall I'm very impressed!

My wife has a serious illness, and in August, we decided, as a family, we could no longer care for her properly at home. We looked for a suitable care home and decided on Signature at Beckenham. This is a brand-new home, and the rooms and facilities are outstanding. More importantly, in our view, the
attitude and competence of the staff we have met have been excellent.

Some time ago I moved from my flat due to refurbishment work. For this reason I went into respite care at Signature. On arrival I moved into a large, beautifully furnished room with extra kitchenette facilities and large ensuite.
During my 4-week stay I enjoyed all meals and snacks. All meals, cleaning,
laundry and facilities were excellent.
I can say my 4 weeks' respite proved to be first-class - a very enjoyable stay.

I think my mother, who is almost 102 years old, is settling in quite well into her new environment. She is well looked after both in terms of her health and her general care. Her room is bright and spacious, furnished mainly with her familiar items. There is a large living/dining area shared with the
other residents, where she could have some communication with the others. She is happy with the food and takes part in the entertainment provided by the home. The last time I visited her, she was enjoying a "Greek afternoon". I have also noticed that she is beginning to make some acquaintances, which is very encouraging. Overall, I think I'm very satisfied with her care.

The home and staff are very lovely.
Mum really enjoyed her holiday there.
I was slightly disappointed that I was not able to have dinner with Mum on her first day; I did mention to the staff that I would require this, but unfortunately, this did not happen.
Overall, I was very pleased with the service
provided.
Thanks very much.

We, as a family, could not be happier with the experience we have had with Signature. Our Dad has experienced various care homes over the years, so we feel a sense of familiarity with the process. We couldn’t have been more surprised, welcome and delighted with the move to Signature. Two ladies have
helped with all family queries and needs along with sensitive subjects regarding our Dads admission to Signature. Over the past week, we have been quite emotional about how lovely the facilities are and how friendly and helpful all staff are. The home celebrates occasions like Wimbledon and Bastille Day, which you can visibly see lifts the spirits of residents. We are very much looking forward to becoming a part of the Signature community with our dad being a permanent resident. I could not recommend Signature enough if it meets the needs of a loved one.

Current Review Score: 9.2 (9.228)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.2 (9.228) out of 10 for Beckenham Park Care Home - Avery Collection is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.7 out of 5 from 15 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.6 out of 5 from 14 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.678 for Beckenham Park Care Home - Avery Collection is calculated as follows: ( (143 Excellents x 5) + (21 Goods x 4) + (6 Satisfactorys x 3) + (4 Poors x 2) + (3 Very Poors x 1) ) ÷ 177 Ratings = 4.678
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 4.55 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Beckenham Park Care Home - Avery Collection is based on 14 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 3.85
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 100 registered maximum number of service users is 20. 14 Positive Reviews ÷ 20 = 0.7
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.

I know that navigating the financial aspects of care can sometimes feel overwhelming for families, so I take great pride in making sure those processes are clear, transparent, and stress-free.

I’m a firm believer that a well-run office is the backbone of a happy home. Whether it’s a complex billing question or just a quick administrative query, I’m always happy to support our residents and their loved ones in any way I can.

When I’m not balancing the books, I enjoy travelling and good movies.
