I cannot tell you how much my parents quality of life has improved since settling into Sutton Rose it has been remarkable- we were just in time to avert more distressing situations neither they or I could cope with. They are safe, well fed, clean and entertained. Are given as much choice and independence
as required but also my peace of mind and own mental health has improved because every concern is considered, respected and done.

All staff are friendly and helpful. nothing is so much trouble when Mom asks for assistance. Rosie and Nicola are my main contacts who are brilliant. Entertainment team are really good we attended a community quiz night last night the place was packed and it was fun. The nurse on moms floor Charmain
is lovely. It seems a bit unfair to pick out certain people as the whole team are good its given my mom a new lease of life.

My wife who was suffering with alzheimers was loved and cared for by this excellent care home for over 3 1/2 years. In her time at Sutton Rose she received very high quality care from a well managed staff. They also supported me as I tried to cope with my wife condition they ensured we celebrated birthdays
and anniversaries. And they continue to support the links we set up with the local school when residents and children have fun. I fully recommend Sutton Rose Care Home.

On returning to the home on the day he entered care. They had forgotten to feed him. His drink was out of reach as was his call button. I advised that my husband has dementia and was not to be left in a chair or wheelchair on his own as he thinks he can walk. He had a fall that his daughter witnessed.
When his carer went to visit they were asked how they shower him? This was on the the Wednesday on the last day, my husband was dressed. He had a conveen on and a pipe but no bag resulting in him wetting himself.

My brother is very cautious about staying anywhere other than his reseidence but the staff and management understood

Sutton Rose exceeded all expectations when my Mum was discharged from hospital and admitted with a terminal condition. They helped with all the Admin & reacted at speed to assess her, and get her admitted and settled in. The staff are kind and compassionate, and the standard of care is very high. They

Mum had been in residential care but due to a deterioration in her health moved to Sutton Rose Care Home - nursing unit. Sadly Mum's stay was very short just two weeks as she suddenly became ill and passed away. During her short stay I found all the staff on the nursing unit to be very friendly, caring
and professional Mum settled well at the home and always looked comfortable. Throughout her stay the nursing staff communicated regularly with me. Her end of life care was excellent. I always felt reassured that mum was in safe hands.

My sister was accepted into your Care Home direct from hospital, after a series of bad falls. I cannot thank you enough for taking the pressure from myself, and keeping me informed of your information from the hospital. The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 4
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 85 registered maximum number of service users is 17, which has been reached with 46 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
