They took 30 residents (many in wheelchairs) for a 2 hour coach trip to Weston-super-Mare. We had a picnic and games on the beach. Many paddled in the sea and then had fish and chips. It was a truly magnificent day for everyone and made so by all the hard work by all the wonderful staff.

The event is free with refreshments provided and as always the entertainment was inclusive and enjoyed by us all as we listened to and joined in with a great range of favourite songs. Previously we have joined in crafting actvities, quizzes and games too. The staff are brilliant and have a great understanding of dealing with dementia behaviours with humour & sensitivity. Its also a great way to meet new friends who are dealing with similar life experiences and to support each other!
