I advised that my husband has dementia and was not to be left in a chair or wheelchair on his own as he thinks he can walk. He had a fall that his daughter witnessed. When his carer went to visit they were asked how they shower him? This was on the the Wednesday on the last day, my husband was dressed. He had a conveen on and a pipe but no bag resulting in him wetting himself.

During her short stay I found all the staff on the nursing unit to be very friendly, caring and professional Mum settled well at the home and always looked comfortable. Throughout her stay the nursing staff communicated regularly with me. Her end of life care was excellent. I always felt reassured that mum was in safe hands.
