Beautiful care home, spacious, clean and lovely staff. My mother came here for respite in November. We have been able to sleep at night knowing my mum is being well cared for.
Thank you for your lovely review of Sutton Rose. As a home, we are very pleased to know that you have peace of mind knowing that your mother is cared for. We will pass on your kind words to our Teams who will be pleased to know that they have been able to help support your mum and the family during this time.
My dad's room is beautiful, so spacious, a big TV, en-suite and overlooking the garden.
The care is outstanding and dad is really enjoying the food.
All the staff are continually being so friendly and caring.
Also from the moment we came for the initial enquiry and assessing Dad for his needs and all the lead up to Dad arriving, the staff have been wonderful.
My Dad felt instantly settled from the moment he arrived.
Thank you so much to all the staff.
Thank you so much for your wonderful review of Sutton Rose. It is our privilege to care for your dad and your kind words mean a lot to us. We are very happy that your experience has been so positive. As a team we all work towards not only helping our residents settle into the home but also to help...
A warm, caring ambiance from arrival to departure. A very friendly atmosphere right away. Consistently good, attentive carers with lovely manners combined with efficiency. Lots of assistance given in a respectful way to those who need it without the need to ask. Food is good and plentiful, attractively presented. Rooms are cleaned daily without fail. The Sutton Rose Care Home is attractively furnished and decorated but it's the staff that make it really special.
Thank you so much for your very kind words and outstanding review, this really does mean so much to us all at Sutton Rose. I will be sure to share your kind words with all the teams. We know you pop into the Bistro quite often for a coffee, please be sure to call in to say Hello.
I viewed three other homes as well as Sutton Rose. None of the others could compare in terms of the size of the ensuite rooms, the communal areas, and the overall environment at Sutton Rose. The facilities shared with the adjacent flats: The cinema, library, and Bistro (and even a gym) are amazing. We spent many happy Saturday lunches with Dad in the Bistro, as well as many fun events such as Halloween fireworks.
When Dad moved in, I was relieved to find that the quality of the facilities was matched by the level of care provided. He was made to feel welcome and settled in well. Over the time that he was there both he and our family became good friends with many of the staff at Sutton Rose.
Choosing a care home is difficult. I have no regrets in choosing Sutton Rose for Dad.
Thank you for your lovely review of Sutton Rose. We really understand that choosing a care home is incredibly difficult and that after visiting other homes you made the decision to choose Sutton Rose. It was our privilege to care for your father who became a well-loved resident of the home and will...
The decor and environment is lovely, clean, and spacious. The staff team are friendly and caring and always happy to help.
Thank you for your lovely review of Sutton Rose. We are very happy to hear that your father has settled well. We understand how difficult it is to make the decision to move a loved one into care and we are pleased that his move into Sutton Rose was stress free. It is our pleasure to care for your...
All staff have been very professionally friendly to me (daughter) and my father who has been here for respite care. Encourage, welcome and put at ease. My father has been made a fuss of. Very comfortable environment. Can only comment on 4 days of experience.
Thank you for your kind review of Sutton Rose, we are pleased that you feel welcomed and put at ease at Sutton Rose and that you have found the home professional and friendly. It has been our pleasure to care for your dad during his stay at Sutton Rose and he would be very welcome to return for a further respite stay.
My brother has been in Sutton Rose since April 2024, this was originally temporary until certain matters were sorted out by his POAs (myself and my other brother). We had to look at other care homes this month (October) and it became very apparent that Sutton Rose was by far the best in care, facilities, professionalism and location. My brother has nursing needs and we needed a long-term care facility. After a whole day of looking at other care homes, it was a no-brainer that Sutton Rose was the best suited to his style of living, it is also well-kept and furnished. Conversations were conducted with the professionals at Sutton Rose and his social worker and we are very pleased that he will be staying at Sutton Rose. After a lifetime of working my brother is now very content now that the situation has been sorted out and he can now relax and receive the care that he needs at Sutton Rose.
Thank you for your wonderful review of Sutton Rose. We are very pleased that after visiting other homes, you have chosen Sutton Rose for your brother and our teams have been able to help with what must have been a very difficult decision. All our teams at Sutton Rose work together to ensure that...
We relocated Dad from another care home in the area due to us not being happy to Sutton Rose, from the 1st initial meeting with a particular member of staff we knew it was where we wanted him to be. All staff are happy, pleasant, informative and always keep us updated. Surroundings and facilities are lovely and when it is time to leave after your visit we don't feel upset or sad as we know he is being well cared for. Would highly recommend Sutton Rose for someone who is looking for a care home.
Thank you for your very kind review of Sutton Rose and we are very pleased to hear that your dad's move has been a positive experience. All of our teams work hard to make Sutton Rose a pleasant and caring environment and we will be happy to hear that you feel confident with your dad in our care. We will pass on your lovely review to our teams who will be pleased to hear this.
There has been a new manageress and deputy. She has arranged meetings so that residents can air their views. She is sympathetic and I feel she will do her best to accommodate us. The food menu will be changing for winter and we will have a choice which is very good. I feel Sutton Rose Care Home will improve now. We have a very competent manageress.
Thank you for your kind review, we are very pleased that you feel the meetings have been a good introduction to the new management team and also an opportunity to have an influence in the daily life of your home. As a team, we always want to be open to the views of our residents and families and we are glad you feel our Manager and Deputy are open to your suggestions.
My father spent 15 nights at Sutton Rose. His ensuite room was large, comfortable and spotlessly clean. He was treated with respect and I thought the toiletries and flower arrangement awaiting him on arrival was a considerate touch. He also received a free eye test and haircut during his stay which was fantastic as his mobility issues do make appointments difficult to attend. He was also able to receive his daily paper so he could complete the crosswords, he loves and keeps up to date with the news.
Thank you for your lovely review and we are pleased that your father enjoyed his stay at Sutton Rose. It was our pleasure to care for him and we are really pleased he was able to continue doing his crosswords and keeping up to date with what was happening in the world with the news. We look forward to welcoming him back soon.
We could not have asked for better support during his final weeks. I would highly recommend Sutton Rose to anyone needing care for a loved one.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review. Your comments will be shared with the team who I am sure will be comforted to know that we were able to help at such a difficult time.
Sutton Rose Care Home is well-managed and has first-class facilities. It has excellent staff who always strive to do their very best for all residents. All members of the team are friendly, welcoming and enthusiastic, which is the main differentiator with other care homes. The food is consistently of high quality and there are regular activities arranged to engage and stimulate the residents. The manager and her team are always working to enhance communication with the residents' families and are willing to take on board any feedback offered. I feel the advice and support given has helped my family come to terms with and manage what has been a very difficult and emotional period in our lives, with us knowing that both of our parents are safe and secure and receiving the best care we can possibly arrange for them.
Thank you for your very kind words and wonderful review for our home and the team. The whole team work very hard to help our residents and their families settle into their new surroundings and come to terms with the new way of life for all of the family. We always value feedback as it can only make...
The food is excellent and the onsite bistro is a very useful addition for a change of scenery.
Thank you for your kind words and review of Sutton Rose. We are very proud of our home, facilities and staff at Sutton Rose, who all work hard to help to settle our residents into their new home. We are very pleased you have been able to experience the facilities including the Bistro. Your feedback is very much appreciated and we will be sure to pass this on to our teams.
Staff very helpful and supportive. Had already had interaction with care home in April and a tour of home and facilities. Each visit and interaction has been extremely positive and everyone has done their best to secure a positive outcome for my father.
Thank you for taking the time to review us here at Sutton Rose. We are very pleased to hear you are happy with everything and that we have been able to make a difference to your father's life. We will be sure to pass on your kind words to all the staff.
My brother's room is quite lovely, has his pictures up and he feels at home and settled. The staff are simply wonderful and so very caring. Having the Bistrol attached is great as we travel many hours from the North. Just wish you could build one near us! Enjoyed the singing contest, red carpet and little Oscars. We feel so content knowing he is within Sutton Rose. Thank you.
Dear Loraine, thank you for your lovely review, we are so pleased to hear your brother feels at home and settled and been able to make his room feel like his own. We were happy to hear that when you drive away from our home, you have the 'peace of mind' that your brother is cared for. It's great...
My 94-year-old mother was interested to try a respite stay at Sutton Rose in case she ever needed this in the future. She found the care, kindness and attentiveness of the staff exemplary, and enjoyed the choice of food and a very comfortable room with a garden view. She was able to meet with friends in the bistro and carry on playing her bridge online as usual from her room. Although she didn't have a chance to make the most of the excellent facilities on her brief visit of a week, she enjoyed the luxury of having her hair done in the little salon. The experience allayed her concerns about needing residential care in the future and reassured her that she could always go there, knowing that it would be a welcoming place for a short stay, or indeed a longer one. For us as a family, it is good to know that such a high-quality of care is available locally.
Thank you for your kind words with regard to Sutton Rose. The team will be very pleased to learn that your mum enjoyed her stay with us and also that she was able to continue to do the things that she likes to do, whilst having the help and support from the team. Your mum would be very welcome to stay with us again at Sutton Rose in the future.
The rooms and facilities would put most 4-star hotels to shame, and the back-office support was equally impressive from the first phone call to the last. The amount of structure and professionalism built into the assessment and admission process was a step above any other home I’ve dealt with.
My mother couldn’t fault the way she was welcomed and supported during her stay, and the care staff called regularly to check in with the family which gave us additional peace of mind.
Arrange a visit, have a coffee, and see for yourself. The website isn’t some glossy, overly airbrushed sales pitch. It really is that good.
Thank you so much for your kind words about Mum's recent stay here with us at Sutton Rose Care Home. We absolutely loved having Mum with us for a short break and our team will be delighted to hear your glowing feedback. The team here at Sutton Rose constantly strive to deliver a first-class service...
I have been so pleased with the care that my mum has received since she went to Sutton Rose Care Home. The staff have been most attentive and very gentle when moving her, which as she is very fragile, means so much to her. Even when very busy the staff always have time to help me with any questions or needs I may have for Mum and I really do appreciate that. Everyone is so helpful and pleasant. Her room is large and light and always very clean. They are very accommodating on her choice of food so there is always another option should the choice of menu not be to her liking. Mum is very happy there so a very thank you to everyone at Sutton Rose. You are very much appreciated.
Thank you so much for your kind words Ann - this will mean so much to the team and I am so pleased to hear how happy Mum and, you as family are with Sutton Rose. I will be sure to pass on your positive comments to the team.
Their willingness to go the extra mile was refreshing and exceptionally comforting.
Sutton Rose offers a first-class residential establishment.
Well done to them!
Hello Raymond, thank you so much for your kind words about Sutton Rose. The manager and the team continually strive to deliver the best service possible, and reviews such as yours are a testament to all of their hard work. I am so pleased to hear that you and your Mum feel that Sutton Rose is a first-class residential establishment, and I will be sure to pass on your kind words to the team.
I visited with my wife for the first time since the resident moved into Sutto Rose Care Home, though she visited several times before that. First impression, even from outside was positive, ample car parking, well laid out grounds, everything looking neat and tidy. I felt welcomed when entering the reception area. The whole place was 'roomy' and in particular the resident's own accommodation was exceptional. While visiting the staff were kind, considerate and understanding. Top marks throughout. Well done!
Hello Richard. Thank you so much for your kind words and 5-star review. I will be sure to share your feedback with the team who will be delighted to hear your thoughts. We look forward to seeing you again soon.
