My father has been a resident at Sutton Rose since May 2024. He initially went for respite care and after a few months decided to stay. He is very settled and happy. We were impressed when some health problems were identified and dad promptly admitted to hospital. After he was discharged, the nursing staff provided excellent care and attention was given excellent care and attention was given to encouraging him to eat well as he had lost his appetite and weight. He now participates regularly in activities, particularly enjoying musical events.

My parents moved into Sutton Rose in September 25. The move was made as easy as possible with every request supported without any moans or groans. When dad died in January the staffs support for my mum and the rest of the family was exemplary. Knowing mum is now amongst lots of new friends in a loving, caring environment has taken away so much anxiety about her quality of life.

We had a lovely visit to my mother in law and a friend. Made use of the coffee area for a chat. Also used the gym downstairs to do leg strength exercises. Facilities here are brilliant.

I cannot tell you how much my parents quality of life has improved since settling into Sutton Rose it has been remarkable- we were just in time to avert more distressing situations neither they or I could cope with. They are safe, well fed, clean and entertained. Are given as much choice and independence as required but also my peace of mind and own mental health has improved because every concern is considered, respected and done.

All staff are friendly and helpful. nothing is so much trouble when Mom asks for assistance. Rosie and Nicola are my main contacts who are brilliant. Entertainment team are really good we attended a community quiz night last night the place was packed and it was fun. The nurse on moms floor Charmain is lovely. It seems a bit unfair to pick out certain people as the whole team are good its given my mom a new lease of life.

With over 10 years of experience in the care sector, Rosie brings a wealth of knowledge, compassion, and enthusiasm to her role as Customer Relations Executive. She’s passionate about supporting residents and their families, creating a warm and welcoming environment, and showcasing all the wonderful things that make Sutton Rose feel like home.
Rosie also plays a key role in building community connections and organising events that bring joy to everyone at Sutton Rose.

I have been a nurse for 12 years and I joined Macc care in 2021.
My role as Clinical Lead is to support our nurses to deliver a safe nursing practice and to ensure that our residents are receiving individualised care based on their care plan with privacy and dignity.
I am passionate about excellent and safe care, especially in the management and administration of medication.
I have been awarded 'employee of the month' in April 2022, Macc care's 'nurse of the year' in September 2022 and Sutton Rose's 'nurse of the year' in 2023.

He takes the time to get to know each resident personally, tailoring activities to suit individual interests and abilities. Whether it’s music, movement, arts and crafts, gardening, or reminiscence sessions, Jermaine’s warm personality and infectious enthusiasm make every activity special.
Jermaine believes that keeping active — both physically,emotionally and socially — is key to wellbeing and happiness, and he works hard to create a sense of community where everyone feels part of something wonderful.

Organised, approachable, and always ready to help, Nicola is at the heart of our home’s daily life — keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes while making sure everyone feels comfortable and cared for.
Whether she’s helping families with enquiries, supporting new residents as they settle in, or coordinating visits and appointments, Nicola’s calm and compassionate nature shines through in everything she does.
