I have visited Avery Park Care Home three or four times and have found it to be an extremely high standard with a friendly welcome. Everything appears to be excellent but I don't know enough detail to comment on 'value for money'.
Thank you for taking the time to review Avery Park Care Home in Kettering and for your amazing five-star rating. We are delighted to hear that you have enjoyed your visits to our home and the excellent facilities on offer. Your feedback is truly invaluable to us. Best wishes, Rachel.
A more informative review will be in a diary/book that I am keeping. Generally, I am very pleased with most aspects of being an Avery resident and very happy. One or two residents are causing me concern as they are determined to look on the black side and it is giving a bad impression to newcomers. I live in hope they may be separated or moved before their attitude lowers my enjoyment. Fingers crossed.
Thank you for taking the time to review Avery Park Care Home in Kettering, your feedback is truly invaluable to us and our staff team. After liaising with the Home Manager, I have been assured that the problems you were experiencing have been dealt with and are no longer an issue. If you have any further concerns, please do not hesitate to raise these with her. Best wishes, Rachel.
Mum moved into Avery Park Care Home on 1st September because of mobility issues. She loves her life there - just like being on a cruise ship or in a luxury hotel! She spends little time in her room - she goes to the dining room for all her meals and joins in with most of the activities - lingo, countdown, carpet bowls, quizzes etc. Although she would have liked a guide when she first became a resident eg what to do with her laundry, what time meals were etc, she now feels totally at home and we hope she'll have many more happy years there.

My Dad has been living at Avery Park since July. He's so happy being there and can't speak highly enough about how great the staff and facilities are. He loves the banter he has with his carers, who make a point of popping in for a chat with him; whenever their duties allow. In the last few weeks, he's been asked to be involved in recruitment interviews, which is a fantastic idea and has really given him a sense of worth and purpose. As a family, it's so reassuring that, after the acceptance that he is unable to live independently at home, Dad has settled into Avery Park so well and we'd like to thank all the staff for making this possible.
