Overall very satisfied with the care and support my husband is receiving. Excellent staff who are caring and proffessional.

I can't speak highly enough regarding Avery Residential Home. The building is modern, well-maintained and welcoming. Mum has been there almost two years and is very happy and well looked after. The staff are friendly, competent and almost without exception go that extra mile, not only for her but for relatives too. There is a caring family atmosphere, and I can honestly recommend this care home for any of your loved ones.

Special thanks to two staff members in particular for going the extra mile today to reunite Mum with a set of dentures.

The activity programme is varied, the girls work very hard.

From our initial telephone enquiry through to Mum moving in was a very positive experience and all of the staff were very professional, helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. We initially booked a guided tour which was very thorough and we were shown round by a member of staff and also an existing resident, which was a lovely touch. Mum was able to choose her own room from the few available. Mum has settled in nicely and says it’s a lovely place and has not regretted the move there at all. All of Mum's visitors have also commented on how lovely the place is along with all the staff. I personally would recommend this care home to anyone.

The staff on the floor and at reception are without exception all wonderful. They show genuine affection and care for the residents. If I have an issue to raise it would be that my father's room could be cleaner at times, it is quite dusty and surfaces sticky. Having said that my father said to me yesterday, that even if he won millions on the lottery, there is nowhere he would rather be. I cannot think of a better recommendation than that. He is the person living there and his opinion is most important.

My father has been living at Avery Park for 11 months now and it has been a very good experience. The staff are all wonderful and the home is kept very clean and warm. A pleasure to visit.

I was the youngest resident at Avery Park despite this I was given exceptional care and was treated with a huge amount of respect by the staff and residents of Avery Park. I was on respite care after a brain operation at the hospital and was feeling very poorly when I got here but I really enjoyed my stay and do not want to leave!

Overall she seems really happy and contented at Avery.

The staff are so polite and helpful, I would fully recommend Avery Park.

Mum has settled very well and is noticeably happier and healthier than she was before she moved in. Almost a surprise to us all as she was keen to stay in her own home and was not expecting to enjoy it here as much as she has. It's now become her home and she is enjoying living here very much.

My grandad is looked after as if he was living with relatives. The staff care for him so well, and we never have any concerns about him being at Avery. All of his needs are met, and we, as a family, are listened to. He is always clean, and we are always kept up to date with what is happening.

Mum had numerous falls despite being on safeguarding. After one fall my sister-in-law arrived and asked for the first aid kit only to be told they didn't know where it was. Paramedics and Doctors at the hospital both put in Safeguarding issues to QCC about her care. Dad was left for 5 hours after we told them the bed was wet and it took us to go back to check and for us to insist it was done whilst we were there. Luckily we got him moved and although he passed away in peace a week later it was the best week of care he had. Overall I think Avery Kettering is designed for elderly and infirm residents but does not really want demintia residents.

Having to find a permanent residence for my mother could have been a very stressful situation (especially as she was placed in an emergency placement some distance away) but the entire team at Avery Park Care Home were amazing. From getting her in, settled and her needs assessed was done with professionalism but also extreme kindness. The warmth and atmosphere are just wonderful.

Since Mum moved into Avery Park, she has been very happy. Staff are very well trained and manage to be kind, supportive and helpful whilst encouraging as much independence as possible. There is a high commitment to residents' safety and care. The home has an atmosphere of happiness and care. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff who seem to enjoy working together and interacting with residents. This is a place you come to live even as you get older.

Avery Park is very friendly and has been so kind during a very difficult time. The standard of care has been second to none, treating my grandfather with the utmost respect and dignity, which being a 96-year-old man with Alzheimer's really is difficult, however, the carers on Boughton suite have been amazing with his care. Thank you all - reception, management and carers.

We're very pleased with the care home, Mum was apprehensive about coming in but everyone made her very welcome. The staff are very caring and always ask her how she is. She has settled in well and likes to join in with the activities. Everyone is friendly and the home has a really nice atmosphere, we are very pleased with the choice we made for Mum to come here.

Dad is very happy at the home. In fact, happier than he has been for years. He particularly loves the entrainment team. The place is like a five-star hotel, and we are very happy with him living here. If the kitchen had an air fryer to cook some healthy chips, an alternative option for lunch could happen, eg ham, egg and chips or scampi and chips.

Avery Park is one of the best care homes in our area. The staff are very professional. The activities are excellent. Everyone seems very happy in the home. My aunt has been here a while now and has settled in very well. A warm welcome is always received when we visit.

Avery Park staff were very understanding when both viewed and moved in. It made a very stressful time considerably easier for all concerned.
