My role is to lead the overall day-to-day running of the home, ensuring every resident receives the highest standard of person-centred care within a safe, welcoming and homely environment. Building strong relationships with our residents, families and team is one of the most rewarding aspects of my role, and I truly believe these connections are what make our home so special.
I am passionate about creating an environment where residents feel safe, valued, respected and truly at home. I work closely with our dedicated team to ensure we deliver compassionate, high-quality care while supporting residents to continue living fulfilling and meaningful lives with dignity, companionship and happiness every day.MY EXPERIENCE
Throughout my 20-year nursing career, I have remained passionate about supporting older people and creating positive experiences for both residents and their families. What I DoMy name is Tanya, and I am a Home Admissions Advisor. My role is to provide information and support to those looking at moving into care and the options available to them. Choosing the right care home can be a difficult decision to make, whether it be future planning or reacting to a crisis, it’s often a daunting, emotional experience for the prospective resident or their family, but I am here to make the journey simple, clear and give all the answers to all the questions you may have and make the process a positive one.
My ExperienceDelivering excellent customer service has always been a passion of mine, and I have many years of experience working in the social housing sector. However, for the last 6 years, I have worked in the luxury care home sector, which has been so rewarding, and it’s always been a pleasure to be the first point of contact for people enquiring. I strongly believe in treating people in the same way I would expect myself or my family to be treated. A little bit of kindness goes a long way. After relocating to North Devon, I am proud to be working for Cinnamon Care Collection and continue in a role I am passionate about with a company that shares the same passions and ethics as I do.
About MeI relocated from Wiltshire to North Devon with my partner to follow our self-build dream, selling our beautiful home to move onto our plot (yes, in a caravan!), so for the foreseeable future, my spare time will be on the site getting stuck in to make the dream a reality! When I do get some ‘me’ time, I am a keen runner, having completed numerous half marathons to eventually complete a full marathon, I’d be happy just doing it once though!! I have two grown-up children and am so lucky to have the most adorable 3-year-old granddaughter.

As our Head Chef, he is dedicated to creating nutritious, comforting, and beautifully prepared meals that feel like home while supporting the well-being of every resident.
My ExperienceWith over a decade of experience, Dave has worked in a range of high-quality kitchens across the Southwest. Before joining us, he spent 2½ years as Head Chef at Dainton Park Golf Club and previously served as Executive Head Chef at Cofton Holiday Park. He also held the Head Chef position at the Dartmoor Halfway Inn. Dave trained at South Devon College in Paignton, where he qualified as a chef and discovered his love for the craft.
