My mother in law was one of the first residents in cuttlebrook hall. She is very happy and settled there. Enjoys the activities and social functions. The food is varied and excellent. Birthdays and seasonal festivities are reflected in meals and cakes etc. The staff are very caring and we have no worries about her safety and well being.

Falling a fall and deteriorating memory, Mum was in need of a care home. It felt like a huge decision and responsibility choosing somewhere for Mum. I am so thankful to the whole team at Cuttlebrook Hall for their support and amazing care. It feels like a real community and is obvious that everyone who works there is caring, thoughtful and prepared to go the extra mile to make residents feel safe and happy.

Cuttlebrook Hall has been a very positive move for Mum. All staff members are professional, kind and caring. They have gone out of their way to make relationships with all of our family. We are all made to feel very welcome when we visit, and everyone clearly knows Mum well. Mum now participates in a wide range daily activities on offer, which have enriched her life and raised her sense of well being. The food and facilities are exceptional. I would highly recommend Cuttlebrook Hall.

I was fortunate to spend 2 weeks in respite care at Cuttlebrook Hall in June-July 2025. The weather was extremely hot at the time. I was amazed and delighted that in the afternoons ice creams and ice lollies were offered to all residents. The choice to decline was respected. I think this gesture by the management team serves to illustrate the ethos I experienced at Cuttlebrook Hall, one that places the needs of each individual resident firmly at the centre of the thoughtful care on offer whilst respecting the choice to decline it. It was obvious to me that all members of staff, whatever their function within this community, knew their residents, not just their names but also their individual personalities and needs. Staff interaction with each resident was warm and kindly whatever the need. From my experience, the interaction of staff with each other was cooperative and supportive. I can honestly say that during my time in Cuttlebrook Hall I did not hear or overhear a cross word. I believe that positive interpersonal relationships are the foundation stones of any thriving community. The responsibility for establishing and sustaining such a community lies with the management team. It was obvious to me that the team at Cuttlebrook Hall was one of like-minded people with shared standards and a clear vision of what person-centred care delivered with warmth, reassurance and professionalism looks like. They are to be congratulated. Yes, undoubtedly, the beautiful environment at Cuttlebrook Hall has a substantial effect on the quality of life of the residents. However, buildings and interiors are impersonal and grow tired with time. Funding is needed for their upkeep. In contrast, the ongoing positive interpersonal relationships that form this community are longstanding. Sustaining such a community requires insight, flexibility, hard work and co-operation while keeping holistic person-centred care at its heart. What Cuttlebrook management team offers in this regard is priceless. Would I be happy to entrust Cuttlebrook Hall with the care of a vulnerable relative? Speaking from my own experience and observation of this homely community as it is at present, the answer is a resounding 'Yes'!

Since my mother moved into Cuttlebrook Hall she has been made so welcome and treated with total kindness by all the staff. Every day I visit the atmosphere in the home is never anything but friendly and the staff totally accomodating. Thank you everyone.
Hi Julia thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback about your experience. We are incredibly glad that you and Mum have had a positive experience at Cuttlebrook Hall.
Mum seems to be settling in slowly. There always appear to be plenty of friendly staff around to assist when needed.
Plenty of activities are on offer and Mum enjoys a pamper session and being able to get her hair cut or just washed and blow-dried.
The rooms are kept in good condition and clean and Mum enjoys being wheeled around the garden areas which are well maintained.
Generally an enquiry at reception gets a helpful response and I'm impressed with the knowledge the Carers have of Mum and endeavouring to meet her needs in the best way for her.
It was a difficult decision to take, but I believe Mum is in the best place for her now and I can relax knowing she has 24 hour care.

Visited the care home today for the first time. What a lovely atmosphere. The residents were enjoying a festival in the garden with live music. All the staff were very friendly and interacted with both residents and visitors.

Right from the start all of the staff have been friendly & welcoming.
The Customer Care Manager has been very attentive & helpful.
The home worked hard to accommodate her requests & needs eg. sometimes eating meals in a quiet lounge, or providing a pendant call bell so she could spend most of the sunny days sitting or walking around the gardens. There were plenty of activities for her to choose from if she felt up to it & lots of delicious choices on the menu. All of the rooms were clean and modern, with excellent wash facilities. When an issue came up with a confused resident the home dealt with it professionally and efficiently.
Thank you very much

Having placed my mother into care at Cuttlebrook Hall in February 2025, I can genuinely say that the level of care and compassion provided has exceeded our expectations. From the moment we toured the facility, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. The staff are professional, kind and attentive. Mum felt at ease and at home from the start. Meet the Team (1)

I joined Care UK in May 2021 because I love their passion for residents and the training and support staff are provided.
I have management experience in both residential and nursing homes.
As a manager you need to be caring, have a great amount of patience and resilience to any obstacles that come up. It is important to have good communication with your team and show compassion to the people we provide care for.
My favourite part of each day is in the afternoon when everyone is calm and relaxed and I can take time to chat to residents and ask about their day.
