Liberton Brae

The roof garden and outside pond are lovely to sit in and much enjoyed in the good weather. She loves getting her hair done at the in-house hairdresser. From the manager, to all members of staff they have provided a safe and very caring atmosphere.

Clean and friendly place, which my father appears to be settling into, although he is not mixing very much with other residents, but we are hoping this may change.

From my first visit to look around I was very warmly welcomed by the manager and every single one of the staff. They are all so friendly and extremely knowledgeable and caring. The home is very clean and comfortable. Nothing is too much trouble, my mum is bed bound and staff will often spend at least 30 mins just chatting with her, having a laugh etc. I couldn’t wish for more.

I have found all members of staff very professional. They are caring and ensure that my mother has the support and care that she requires. Not always the easiest of patients they were quick to build a relationship with her and make her feel that she and her needs matter. I could not ask for better care and on the days that she is upset when I leave feel assured that she is being left in good hands!

Think she has settled in very well in the short space of time and speed in which she was moved. Concerned at the time as she was still recovering from her fall but needn’t have worried as she was being looked after very well. The staff are very kind and helpful and feel confident that she will be okay when we leave her.

The rooms, communal spaces, dining experiences, and activities are all great but what makes this a real home is the care and heart of the team. Thank you to them all.

The team have done a fantastic job in settling my father into Liberton Brae and he is clearly responding well to the dedication of the staff. The staff have been most attentive and give me regular updates on his status. Everyone’s professionalism is much appreciated.

The staff at Liberton Brae Care Home could not have done more to ease a difficult situation. The support, reassurance and guidance provided has been invaluable, all within a very short timeframe, and the care given is thoughtful and exemplary - from every member of the team.
