Mother in care home for over a year now. She is incredibly well cared for and has improved physically and mentally beyond my expectations. Staff at the home are always friendly and pleasant. The home is well kept and clean. We have tea in the Coach House with my mom and two dogs, highlight of our visits.
We are so pleased that everything is working out so well for Mum and the family at Blossomfield Rose. Thank you for taking the time to leave this 5 star review !!
On every visit have always found staff to be kind, friendly and responsive to any requests and queries. My mum-in-law has improved in her physical health immeasurably since becoming a resident. The lounge/coffee bar area is a lovely spot to meet and 'bump into' other residents and staff. It is also lovely that the charm of the original house and gardens has been retained while also providing really modern facilities. The atmosphere is lovely.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a lovely positive reply for the home. We are so pleased that everything is going well !
We were so pleased when Mum was admitted to Blossomfield Rose after being in hospital for 5 weeks. From the moment you walk into reception you can feel how warm, welcoming and caring the environment is. All the staff are very kind, compassionate and caring and Mum is treated wuth respect and dignity. Her room is very spacious, comfortable and well-appointed and she is really well looked after and cared for. Housekeeping across the board is excellent, thank you. Mum has pureed food which is always tasty and beautifully presented, thanks to the chef. Coach House Cafe is great and a great variety of activities. Reassuring to know our Mum is in safe, kind and capable hands.

I always feel welcome & my wife is well cared for.
Many thanks for taking the time to leave this kind review for the home. We are so pleased to hear that you are always made to feel welcome by the team and that you wife is well cared for.
No routine , food cold no help to eat Medication , never at regular times , Mom skin was cut several times , and equipment not up to standard , hoists not padded ! On last day Mom was left in the kitchen area on her own.
little stimulation and activity available for residents. Virtually nil effort to provide one to one social contact. Very poor communication with families, and no understanding of residents medical needs took 2 weeks to get her registered with GP .Numerous other relatives had concerns. We moved Mom to a loving caring home for her last few weeks of life , and so pleased we did, she was treated with respect and dignity, and loved.
We were surprised to learn of these concerns, as our records indicate that no complaints or issues were raised with our management...
Staff are really lovely and approchable and look after my moms needs
Thank you for leaving this lovely review for the home. We are really pleased that everything is going so well.
A welcoming environment with a warm and caring setting - staff are kind, friendly and always ready to listen and give feedback. Facilities are excellent and the rooms are lovely which creates a home from home experience. Thank you.
Thank you so much for your lovely review. We're really pleased to hear that you found the environment warm and welcoming, and that our team's kindness and willingness to listen stood out to you. Creating a comfortable, "home from home" setting is so important to us, so it's wonderful to know the facilities and rooms helped achieve that. Thank you for taking the time to share your kind words.
Disappointing. We felt pressured into signing contracts as our parents were new to care, but our struggles seemed less important than our money. We barely heard from managers after that. Many issues eg lost laundry (I was told "that happens all the time" by staff ), food that was rather mediocre quality and served cool, breakfast in particular regularly took ages to be served, TVs not working properly, newspapers not delivered, medication not arriving until the day it was actually required. Very little stimulation and activity available for residents. No trips. Hardly anything going on at weekends. Virtually nil effort to provide one to one social contact. The gym is barely used as it's hard to get someone to take residents and help them. Very poor communication with families. Numerous other relatives had concerns. TBF some genuinely nice carers, but overall dysfunctional and objectively badly run. We moved after 4 months. No effort made to discuss our reasons. Style over substance.
We would like to reassure you that we take all concerns seriously. Throughout your stay, we held many family meetings to address the issues raised and to work...
Very Good

Customer Relationship
Manager
I’m Zoe Doherty, the Customer Relations Manager at Blossomfield Rose Care Home. I have a real passion for care and absolutely love guiding families through the process of finding the perfect care home for their loved ones. I have worked in similar roles in the care sector since 2019.
As well as guiding families through the process of moving to a care home, I also have an active role in the community in Solihull, attending events and awards, organising events in the home and supporting local groups with fundraising and much more.
The best part of the role is getting to know each resident and their family members, and I believe it’s a real privilege to be part of this journey. Blossomfield Rose is an absolutely fantastic place with first-class facilities, and I am very proud to work here. I look forward to welcoming you to our wonderful care home.

Paulo is our Head Chef at Blossomfield Rose.
Paulo joins MACC with a wealth of expertise, starting out his career at Frankie and Benny’s where he was Sous Chef. From there he was Sous Chef at Bills Restaurant before promotion to Head Chef.
He has also enjoyed the time as Breakfast Chef at Hogarths and Chef at The Boat in Catherine-de -Barnes where he managed the kitchens.
We are extremely lucky to have Paulo at Blossomfield Rose, as not only is he a fantastic chef, he is a pleasure to be around with his happy and smiley demeanour.
Nothing is too much trouble and our residents are in for a real treat with his fabulous food and carefully considered menus, catering for all likes and dislikes as well as specific diets and allergies.
