My parents came to stay for Christmas, and my mum wasn't feeling well and ended up being admitted to the hospital. This left us managing Dad, who needs significant care, whilst also trying to visit Mum and support her. We needed some temporary respite care, so visiting the five best care homes in Salisbury and Wilton Place was by far our 1st choice. The facilities and set-up are extraordinary and the local nursing and administrative staff are so kind and lovely. The food is fantastic. Very sadly, my mum died suddenly on 5th January and my dad wants to try living at home in Essex again with a live-in career. However, if that doesn't work or his needs become too much, we will definitely be back. Meanwhile, the administrative team have been so flexible and supportive of our fast-moving situation. I couldn't recommend Wilton Place more highly.

Thank you so much Luke for taking the time to review our home, especially at this very difficult time for your family. It was a pleasure to have dad here, although for a very short period, our hearts went out to him and the wider family during this difficult time and although very brief, we enjoyed having him here. Such an interesting man and the book " The Answer Lies in the Soil" about the family farm, is already "well-thumbed" and being read by residents and staff alike. We wish you all the very best in the future and hope to see you again.

I have been within the care industry for 15 years, my background is Neuro rehabilitation caring for patients with traumatic brain injuries and neurological conditions. However in the last 10 years I have found myself working in dementia care. Each day is filled with laughter and heart-warming experiences not one day is the same. I’m lucky not everyone can say they enjoy their job but working within dementia care is an enjoyable career.

"I have been at Wilton Place since the opening in December 2022 and have not looked back.
Wilton Place is a beautiful home and the team is lovely but most of all the residents are happy and as a team member that's all I could ask for."
I am also part of the Activities team. I am passionate about resident inclusion, enabling our residents to feel independent and purposeful. I seek opportunities to ensure residents continue with their hobbies and interests and also discover new ones.
