I can honestly say that she was an absolute pleasure, the whole team loved her and she is greatly missed by us all, including other residents who she made friendships with, even to her surprise, I don't think she expected that but she really did live her best life after moving to Wilton Place, it wasn't home but as near as it could be. I have been managing in luxury care homes now for over 13 years and I am passionate about delivering fantastic care, within beautiful environments. I have over 25 years of management experience in the care sector.
Here at Wilton Place, our residents are able to access a full suite of life-enriching activities as well as continuing their lives as part of the wider community in Wilton.

Emma has worked with luxury care providers for the last 15 years. She started her career as a Senior Carer, progressed to Dementia Care Manager and now to Deputy Manager here at Wilton Place. She is proud of her NVQ 5 qualification. Her passion is working with those living with dementia and all the rewards this brings hence her being one of our 'Dementia Champions'. Her passion for the residents living in our Memory Lane community shines through with every interaction. She is dedicated and hard-working and an asset to our team.
I joined the Wilton team at the beginning of 2024 following a career in education. I love getting to know our residents and their families, and I enjoy planning and delivering a comprehensive activities programme which not only supports their interests but also introduces new opportunities and challenges. There is nothing better than seeing the residents’ smiles and hearing their laughter. I am also a dedicated Dementia Champion. I’m the Head Housekeeper here at Wilton Place. I have a wealth of housekeeping knowledge and have worked in the industry for over 15 years. My team and I enjoy engaging with our residents and learning about their lives, whilst attending to their housekeeping and laundry needs. I am the home's Infection Prevention & Control Champion.

Hello, I'm the Head Chef here at Wilton Place. I have been part of the Barchester family for 19 years.
I've always loved baking - birthday cakes, afternoon tea spreads and cheese and wine evenings are some of my favourite things to prepare.
I love getting to know each resident, learning their favourite meals and creating dishes that bring comfort and joy.
Wilton Place is a beautiful home, and I am proud to be part of the team.
Grace is one of our Senior Carers.
She has a wealth of experience and expertise in the care industry and is passionate about the bespoke, person-centred care she delivers.
She is positive and solution-focused, a calm, warm and welcoming presence in our home, supporting residents, families and staff alike.
I have been within the care industry for 15 years, my background is Neuro rehabilitation caring for patients with traumatic brain injuries and neurological conditions. However in the last 10 years I have found myself working in dementia care. Each day is filled with laughter and heart-warming experiences not one day is the same. I’m lucky not everyone can say they enjoy their job but working within dementia care is an enjoyable career.
Tash brings 17 years of care experience to Wilton Place. "I am passionate about my role and enjoy getting to know our residents and their families. Being a member of the team is such a positive experience, everyone is always smiling and happy to help".
Julie joined Wilton Place when it first opened and has been an integral part of the team ever since. Her background is in care in the community but she is also a qualified hairdresser so manages the dedicated hair salon for the residents.

I am also part of the Activities team. I am passionate about resident inclusion, enabling our residents to feel independent and purposeful. I seek opportunities to ensure residents continue with their hobbies and interests and also discover new ones.
I have worked in customer-facing roles for the last 16 years and enjoyed the interaction that working with the public brings. I’m grateful for the opportunity to engage with the residents here, it’s so rewarding to see them thriving and happy, they are lovely and would put a smile on anyone’s face. The staff are very friendly and helpful which makes Wilton place such a great environment to work in.
Berenice loves getting to know the residents and hearing all about their families whilst attending to their housekeeping needs. She is a welcoming smiling face each morning.
She previously worked as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school and enjoys welcoming her grandchildren into the home when they come along with their school to visit our residents.
Tina is part of our Hostess team. Her career in the care industry spans 30 years and she has worn many hats throughout that time. She began as a Carer, progressing to Senior Carer and now enjoys her role as Hostess here at Wilton Place. Tina delights in her daily interactions with residents and looks forward to coming to work each day.
She is often the first person a resident sees in the morning as knocks on the door with their morning cup of tea and a cheery greeting.
Tina ensures residents enjoy a luxury dining experience at every meal time and enjoy delicious beverages and cakes in our Bistro throughout the day.
Richard has worked in the catering industry for 40 years. He enjoys taking the time to get to know each resident and their culinary wishes. His greatest reward is presenting residents with bespoke dishes and menus and takes great delight in seeing them enjoy not only the dishes he creates but the entire dining experience.
Hello, I’m Shauna.
My roles within the care home are Admin Assistant, Activities Assistant and Carer. Working across various areas allows me to welcome guests, families and visitors with a warm smile, support residents with participating in life-enriching activities and provide assistance with personal care too. I am also the Continence Champion which gives me the understanding and knowledge to support our residents with stoma care, catheter care and overall continence care and queries.
