This is an amazing care home. Beautifully decorated and laid out. All the staff are very friendly and extremely caring to residents and family members. Mum is very settled in the home and my Dad visits about 3 times a week, he is made to feel very welcome.

I visited her several times in this month, and was always impressed by the friendliness and helpfulness of every member of staff that I met and talked to. The facilities are excellent for both resident and visitor. The staff were attentive and professional with my former partner at all times, and she was happy and contented whilst at the home. I would be very happy for her to stay at this excellent care home again.

My dad suddenly became quite unwell and I quickly had to find somewhere for him to be cared for. I looked around a few of the different homes in the area and I just got a good gut feeling as soon as I walked into Charlton Lodge. One staff member greeted me and was super friendly and gave me a detailed tour around the place answering any questions that I had. All of the staff that I've met have been very welcoming and have looked after my dad by putting his safety and best interests first. The manager has been very attentive at what my dad needs to make his recovery as quickly and smoothly as possible and has been amazing at keeping me in the loop as I don't currently live in the country. I could not recommend Charlton Lodge enough!
