Review from Shirley L (Sister-in-law of Resident) published on 11 May 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience
My Sister in Law moved to Orchard House during summer of 2025. She was previously placed in assisted living which was completely wrong for her. Since she has been at Orchard House she is much better cared for. The house is more like a family than a care home. Lauretta says she is happy there. The house is clean and hygienic. The staff are polite, courteous and very helpful. The Manager, Deon is very approachable and accomodating. He keeps us updated with my sister in law's progress and daily needs and also informs us if things are not going too well with her.

Overall I am very happy with my sister in law's placement at Orchard House.

Review from Steve S (Brother-in-law of Resident) published on 2 April 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience

My brother in law, Phillip, moved to Orchard House, in July 2025, as his previous care home was struggling with his mental capacity. Almost from the start of his time at Orchard House, I could see that his mood had lifted and he was happier. Deon and his team are always professional, personable, caring and proactive with Phil's care, offering advice and tailoring his time with them to best suit Phil and his changing needs as his condition has progressed. As someone has had to care for Phil, I'm just glad its been with Deon and his team at Orchard House. Thank you all, from myself and Philips family.
