All the staff are extremely polite, kind and caring. Nothing is too much trouble and they provide some very good entertainment and activities. The chefs produce some excellent and quality menus and I have enjoyed every meal. I love sitting in the garden and looking at all the surrounding countryside
and wildlife.

I spent six weeks at St Rita's for care after a bad fall and found the carers very kind and helpful. My room looked over the garden and St Ritas is set in beautiful countryside.

As I visit my friend once a week I have no experience of the activities provided although sometimes she entrusts to me about something like a visit from the singers. I also cannot comment on a safety security or value, for money as I am not privy to these things. The staff are always friendly to me
when I visit and my overall impression is that my friend is very happy in this care home.

My mother entered St Clare's in May 2025 when she's had Alzheimer's for around 6 years. She was 90 and was beginning to get bouts of pneumonia. We chose St Clare's because it was beautiful- lovely views, decor, layout, easy access for her family we were all so grateful for the tender, thoughtful care
that she received. She died in March her last year of life spent at St Clare's was full of love, laughter, good food and the care of the excellent team. We'll always be grateful.

Dad has been at St Rita's for 15 months now and is very settled. He has benefited greatly from the outside space. The indoor space is good for Dad's pacing. Dad takes part in all the activities and various outings and we are grateful for the stimulation he receives from these. Recently, I had to tell
Dad of a family bereavement and we were both well supported during this. All Dad's needs are met promptly and thoroughly. I recently enquired about a bird table for outside his window. The next day one was in situ for Dad to enjoy. Thank you.

My mother has been a resident for just over a year. St Rita's is a very welcoming and caring place to live. I am welcome to visit at any time and all the staff are very kind and supportive. They are always happy to discuss my mum's needs and have been very active in managing her medicines and pain management
with the Doctor. I feel that St Rita's cares about my mum.

St Rita's was recommended to us by a former care worker and is better than I could have hoped for. Choosing when to move Mum into care was difficult, but choosing where was easy. It was the only care home we visited that we actually liked. Every member of staff is a friend and visiting is a pleasure.
Mum has been a resident for the past six months and I am very grateful to all of the staff for everything they do. Thank you.

Very good experience for my mother in St Rita's. Visiting is made very easy by the staff. My father has been made very welcome enabling them to keep in contact. Issues are dealt with promptly and efficiently with great understanding.

A warm and caring environment, with fantastic staff that are very professional at all times. Many of the staff have been here for a long time which speaks for itself. The rooms are exceptionally clean and the residents are happy in their home. We are always welcome if we wish to join relatives for a
meal and we can help ourselves to tea/coffee when visiting - it really is a wonderful care home.

My mum is being exceptionally well cared for by the staff at St Rita’s. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they are all so friendly and resident focused. Mum feels that the staff have become friends and feels very safe and secure here. Mum’s room is spacious and kept spotlessly clean, she is very
happy with it. All in all a fabulous care home, run by an extremely caring and dedicated management.
I cannot fault a thing and am delighted that my mum is staying here.

So happy with St Rita’s!
Moved Dad here from another care home after 10 days of ‘respite care’ - he had been stuck in the room at the other care home for his entire stay and bed-bound for the last 4 or 5 days. Moved Dad here and the very next day he was in a wheelchair enjoying meals in the restaurants,
activities and socialising with other residents. All the staff I have met have been great - they all care and live the ‘ethos’ of the home to a tee and the atmosphere in the home is lovely - and also in a lovely position. So glad we found St Rita’s - highly recommend it!

The staff showed a high level of care, compassion and professionalism. We always felt that he was safe and comfortable. His needs were met medically and pastorally. The staff were always friendly, caring and helpful to us visitors. Communication with the family was always excellent.

My mum had been at St Rita's for nearly three years following a significant stroke in 2020. We always knew that St Rita's was the best place for her to be and were impressed with their level of care. But I have just spent a week at her bedside there, as she entered her final days and was blown away
by the kindness, respect, standard of care and actual love for both my mum and me during this really difficult time. I witnessed first-hand the care home operating 24 hours a day - not just the one hour a week when I used to visit - and saw the whole incredible team: hard-working, caring and simply wonderful. Thank you, St Rita's, for giving my mum the very best care possible.

St Rita’s is a truly outstanding care home, built around amazing people and a wonderful environment.
Set in extensive and beautiful grounds, which are perfect for walks when visiting, the whole place exudes a calm and nurturing atmosphere. It is fairly large but feels small and family. The staff

Mum was really struggling at home, and it was a huge decision to place her into a care home and find one that we had confidence in. From the moment we first visited St Rita's, I knew we had made the right choice for Mum. All of the staff, from the managers to the carers, treat Mum with respect and dignity.
Their priority is always her well-being, health and making her stay in her new home happy. Mum now joins in with the activities and has really enjoyed her trips out. They are always quick to inform us of any changes. I am confident we made the right choice for Mum and would thoroughly recommend St Rita's.

My mother-in-law has Alzheimer's, and I visit the care home to see her very regularly. I have always found the management and staff to be very friendly and efficient. Their main focus is always on the well-being and health of my mother-in-law, and they are very quick to keep us informed on how she is

I have worked in Health and social care for the last 26 years, 16 years of these in management of care homes - Supported living, Learning disabilities, Dementia, Residential and Acquired brain injuries.


I enjoy working with the elderly and find my role to be both rewarding and fulfilling, which in turn meets my strong values in the care sector.
