Temple Grove

I cannot fault the home for the amazing care and attention given to my mother! It means we as a family can be more relaxed about frequency of visits and worry less about her. She seems really happy and that's the best thing we could wish for

I have nothing negative to say at all about the home which is truly exceptional in my view. Well managed with without exception fabulous staff (who are a constant presence i.e. little turnover) and facilities and lots of activities & good food.

Placed mum there initially for respite care, after 2months she said 'I'd like to stay can you ask them if I can keep this room'

A recent comment to me by the Manger says it all really 'we always say we work in their home'

My Grandmother is a resident at Temple Grove and I can't say enough about how kind, compassionate and professional the team looking after her are. They seem to strike the right balance between being attentive to her needs but still giving her space when she wants to be alone. I fully trust them to keep her safe and happy.

My father went in to Temple Grove after spending a couple of months in hospital. I visited him a couple of times, and the staff were lovely, the food was good, the home was very clean and ran very well. He is going home tomorrow, but if he needs to go back into Care i wouldnt hesitate to have him back at Temple Grove.

The setting of Temple Grove is delightful and perfect for the excellent spring weather enjoyed during my stay. The atmosphere there is excellent generated by a staff which is highly competent, efficient and above all delightful. I left Temple Grove to get on with my life but with regrets due to leaving all those charming people - including residents.

My mother Kathy passed away peacefully on 14th March 2026. It was a very sad time for my sister and I, but the care and support we received from the home at this sad time was so supporting and kind. Anyone wanting care and understanding, with the excellent support cannot go wrong with this lovely nursing home.

I visit my friend regularly and I am impressed by the care she receives, the cleanliness of everywhere, the kindness of staff and the contentment of my friend. Lovely place.

Calm, relaxed atmosphere when I visit. Staff always smile and acknowledge my arrival. However, recently I have been aware there are less care staff on the floor. A member of staff who always offered me a cup of tea does not appear to be there anymore! Overall, I see a high quality of care.

All of the staff at Temple Grove are exceptional, always providing a very high level of care, with impeccable manners and great sense of humour. The food is of a very high standard with special requests welcomed. All round a 5 star review what an amazing team.

We have had a very positive experience with all aspects of Temple Grove since our mother moved in, in September. She has been made to feel very welcome and every staff member has gone out of their way to make her feel comfortable, relaxed and a member of the community at T.G. She is greeted by name whenever she passes anyone in corridors or communal areas and is treated with respect. We would highly recommend Temple Grove to friends and family.

My father is currently a resident at Temple Grove. The care he is receiving there is nothing short of brilliant. We had a difficult time convincing him he needed to move somewhere for full time care, but as soon as he moved to Temple Grove he loved it. The staff and all involved running it are amazing, kind and caring people. They keep myself and our family updated regularly about Dad, with everything from his medical needs to what he has been doing. Him being there has made our lives a lot easier knowing he is somewhere that he's properly looked after by trustworthy people.

My father has been at Temple Grove Care Home for nearly a year and has received exceptional care. The staff have been incredible; they genuinely care about the residents. The home is absolutely beautiful and spotless! My dad's room has a lovely vista over the garden. There is entertainment every day in the communal areas and lots going on. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Temple Grove. My father is so happy there and we are happy that he is safe and being cared for so well.

The staff are all kind, considerate and friendly and l would gladly recommend anyone needing care to check in .

My husband has been a Temple Grove resident now for two months, after a difficult year of us trying to cope at home with the effects of a variety of health issues as well as the early stage of vascular dementia. I have been greatly assured as to the quality of care he is receiving, delivered with infinite care and attention to detail - and good humour. Wherever we go at Temple Grove, we are greeted by name and a smile, it makes such a difference. Everything I have experienced so far at Temple Grove speaks highly of their approach to Residential Care and is clearly reflected in staff training.

I am next of kin for my elderly aunt and after a few years of resistance, worsening dementia several falls she agreed to go for some respite care. The manager made the whole process so much less stressful and when she and the staff visited my aunt they were wonderful with her. She has now been at Temple Grove for 4 weeks which has flown by and has become a fully-fledged long-term resident. Every contact I have had with the team, special shout out to the staff member, has been friendly and lovely. My Aunt is so much brighter and happier. Thanks guys for your support and making it a great transition for my Aunt. I can't speak highly enough of Temple Grove. We are thrilled.

My mother was a long-term resident in Temple Grove. Throughout her eight years she came to be a friend of many members of staff. In the earlier years she enjoyed the activities, in her later years, she was cared for with incredible devotion and skill. We have been so comforted by the knowledge that she being looked after so well. I thoroughly recommend Temple Grove.

Could not have asked for more. Was used for the final few weeks of my father's life and could not have been more impressed. Lovely staff - who seemed genuinely to care, something you soon discover is not the case everywhere - as well as excellent facilities.

Food and staff amazing. They fully engage residents and family. Good value for money.

A very big plus is the continuity of having permanent staff.
