The care here is second to none - especially this month as Mum passed away with love and care and dignity here. The girls all were so supportive to me and my family in a very difficult time. They made us feel so lovely and let us stay and visit any time of day and night, so it was a very calming atmosphere
with care and love.

It was with great sadness that I lost my mum on the 28th May. The passing was made bearable by the care that my mum and my family received during that time. My mum couldn’t have been treated with any more dignity and respect than what she received at Roseberry Court. We didn’t quite get there in time
when Mum slipped away but knowing a member of staff was there holding mum's hand comforted us. I have always held this care home in high esteem as they cared for both my mum and Dad. They were there afterwards with hugs and words of comfort. I felt I had an extended family in the form of the manager and her dedicated staff and each and every one of them have my eternal thanks and gratitude. It’s a hard decision moving your loved one into a care home but Roseberry Court is more than a care home it’s a haven for those struggling to remain independent. They deserve recognition for all they do.

Thank you so much for the rehabilitation work you did with my mother. At 95 she is now looking forward to moving into her new home where she will still be able to live independently. This would not have been possible without the support you provided.

I find the staff very helpful, friendly and caring towards my mother and my family. They keep my mother in a clean and well-dressed manner. Over the Christmas holidays, they were very thoughtful about getting my mother ready for a visit to our home. She was clean and well dressed, which I can't thank
them enough for! The events for them over the holidays were very good with the staff joining in with fun and love. We are happy with all the care and support they give my mother!

Current Review Score: 9.8 (9.761)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.8 (9.761) out of 10 for Roseberry Court Care Home is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.8 out of 5 from 30 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 5.0 out of 5 from 29 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.761 for Roseberry Court Care Home is calculated as follows: ( (284 Excellents x 5) + (67 Goods x 4) + (8 Satisfactorys x 3) + (1 Poors x 2) ) ÷ 360 Ratings = 4.761
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 5 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Roseberry Court Care Home is based on 29 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 4
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 63 registered maximum number of service users is 12.6, which has been reached with 29 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
