Park View

All staff really friendly and professional in their attitude - At all times.

Ma was a Park View resident for six years. We could not have found a better place for her. She was treated with respect, her dignity was maintained and she was loved. As a family, we received great support from all the staff who became our friends. We have trust in them and, if and when another family requires care, then Park View will be our first choice.

We have just returned from the funeral of our dear aunt who had been a resident of Park View for the past 12 months. Before arriving, she had been through a turbulent time health wise and needed the stability and care levels that Park View offered. She had always been resistant to moving into a care home but the minute she arrived she was instantly settled and it was clear she would be right at home. The staff of Park View have displayed exceptional levels of care and love for my great aunt and right up to the end when her health deteriorated within a week, they were happy to accept her back for palliative care to ensure her last days were comfortable in familiar surroundings. She didn't make it back unfortunately but even after her passing, Park View today have been hospitable and compassionate by allowing her funeral cortege to leave from the home and hosting a wonderful wake in her honour that she would have been proud of. Cannot recommend this place enough. Truly outstanding.

The home is well run, we enjoy visiting nanna when we attend the playgroup on a Wednesday and we enjoy meeting the other residents. The staff are all lovely and the home is clean. The room nanna is in is nice plenty of space for what she needs and for when we visit with the kids (her great-grandchildren)

On the whole, well looked after.

Staff are very friendly and caring. There is a lot of interaction with residents.

Food is prepared on the premises and is of a very good standard.

The pending refurbishment should improve the standard of the bedrooms.

Overall I am very happy that my mother is here and would recommend Park View.

The level of care at Park View is excellent from the management to the cleaners. They treat everyone with the utmost respect and dignity in sometimes difficult circumstances. I have nothing but praise for all of them.

My mother was in Park View for a 4 week convalescence period. I was impressed by the caring attitude of all staff. Without exception, they showed genuine concern for all residents and visitors. The standard of accommodation and meals is top quality and the dedicated 'entertainment ladies' ensure there is plenty to keep residents engaged. The administration of medicines, hospital visits etc is extremely efficient. Should my mother require full-time care in the future, I would not hesitate in calling on Park View.

I found Park View to be an extremely well run organised and caring environment for my Mum to stay during her convalescence. Medication routine, follow up hospital and GP appointments were all handled very efficiently. All staff showed a genuine caring attitude to residents and visiting friends and family. If at any point in the future my mother required long-term residential care, Park View would be my first choice.

Park View care home staff have given my father excellent care, support and attention from the moment he entered this home. All staff have been dedicated in their care and become a friend to my father as well as the rest of the family. Will recommend/already have, this fantastic care home.

My dad recently spent 3 weeks here while waiting for carers to be available to visit him at home. This was my first experience of a care home and I was a little apprehensive at first as you hear so many stories about care homes. I needn’t have worried as from the first day my dad arrived I knew he was in safe hands here as all the staff are lovely and treated my dad with respect and cared for his needs extremely well, actually probably too good as he didn’t really want to leave. My dad is getting older and even with care at home, the time will probably come when he will need to be in a care home permanently and this care home will be our first choice.

Up until recently, my father was a resident, but unfortunately, he passed away at the beginning of May. He had been a resident since January 2017. I cannot praise highly enough the care he received at Park View. Everyone from management, office staff, to cleaners to caregivers really care about the residents. The care that he received especially at the end of his life was outstanding. Thank you.

The staff are so friendly and nothing is a problem when asked., managements door is always open for any concerns. The change in my mother since residing at Park View is great.

My Grandpa has now been in Park View for 6 months and we are very happy with the care and attention he has received. All the staff are lovely and great at keeping us informed. They are very accommodating and made a special effort for our family to have a meal for Grandpa's 95th birthday at Park View.

Although my brother has only been resident for two weeks, I am very pleased with all I have seen. On arrival, he was introduced to all the staff on duty which was a lovely gesture. All the staff have been very helpful to my brother and family and are always there to answer any questions that may arise. The home is always bright and cheerful, the residents all seem very happy as they mix with each other. I have nothing but praise for the management and staff.

Park View was recommended to me before my husband left hospital and it certainly lived up to what I hoped it would be. The staff were kind, considerate and very friendly as well as very efficient.

Lovely staff and warm welcoming home. My mum has settled well after a rocky start. I have always found the staff professional, caring and very patient with my mem. It has certainly put my mind at rest and would recommend the home to anyone.
