It was a peace of mind living my 94 year old auntie at Barchester Hampton Grove Care Home when we went on holiday.

My dad is well looked after, the carers know his likes and dislikes and encourage him to participate in activities. He eats the food, usually a three course meal, but the carers will offer him an alternative if he doesn't want a particular meal.

When i went to have an initial look around, the manager Stefan was able to answer all my questions and nothing was too much trouble. My dad is very well looked after. The staff are attentive, caring and respectful at all times. I would definitely recommend Hampton Grove Care Home.

My 91 year old friend has been at Hampton Grove for just a year. First off, she is very happy there. She has a room that she absolutely loves, it has a great view & keeps her occupied all day people & traffic watching. The carers are all lovely and I have nothing but respect for the job they do. She is very well looked after & all her needs are met. The Senior Management are always available and take the time to listen or just simply stop to have a chat with you.
Your kind words about our carers are deeply appreciated. The team works...

Our dad has settled in well at Hampton Grove Care Home. He's really happy and we have the peace of mind that he's well cared for. He takes part in the activities and really looked forward to mealtimes!
My mother in law is very happy living at Hampton grove. The management & staff are amazing and I am very happy with the way that she's looked after. She loves the food and clears her plate at every meal time, which mean's the food is good. It's a good home to live in and I am pleased we brought her here.
Overall it is a lovely, friendly home with nice areas to sit and chat, and staff that care for my Mums needs with a smile.
Mum has been here just over a year and has enjoyed everything. Everyone from the manager, carers, housekeepers and receptionists, are caring and helpful. Overall a very nice place for Mum to live.
My family member was safe, secure, clean, fed well and cared well for. I have no complaints about the care she received.
Sadly, due to my father having dementia and having to consider the health of my mother, both 86 years old, we had to agree it was time to have him cared for. Being a healthcare professional myself, it was very daunting. However, Barchester Hampton Grove Care Home, from manager, reception and all the staff on the second floor, has been nothing but kind, caring and understanding of the whole family, not just my father and for that, I truly thank them.
Thank you so much for your review. It is a pleasure to receive such great feedback with regard to our Hampton Grove Care Home. I will share your fantastic comments with our team. Thank you one more time for this fantastic review
My mum has been in this care home for nearly two years and she's very happy. The staff are amazing - caring, friendly and approachable and they go above and beyond to ensure residents are well looked after. The facilities are excellent, her room is lovely and nothing is ever too much trouble. When my sister or I visit, we're always greeted warmly and enjoy a great rapport with the staff. The manager truly cares about the residents, team and visitors. I appreciate being involved in regular updates and meetings, a pleasure to visit.
Thank you so much for your review and your fantastic feedback with regard to Hampton Grove Care Home, I will pass on your feedback to the team at Hampton Grove.
Although initially was on the dementia floor, she has got dementia, but they moved her to the ground floor for a better experience, at my request.
The home is clean and well-appointed. The bedroom is very spacious and modern, now with access to the garden!
Thank you so much for your review, I will share your comments with our team at Hampton Grove.
All staff are approachable, friendly, helpful and informative, and go out of their way to include her in the activities, which are many and varied. We are able to visit her any time and we get a weekly newsletter of activities.
We recently celebrated her 100th birthday and the home arranged a wonderful party with food, cake and entertainment. She was thrilled, especially when the news turned up to interview her!
It has given us peace of mind to know that she is well cared for, as we live some distance away and she was struggling to cope in her previous assisted accommodation.
Thank you so much for your review and your fantastic feedback with regard to Hampton Grove Care Home. We are so happy that family and friends enjoyed the wonderful party we put on for your mother's 100th birthday and that we fulfilled yours/her wishes. Your comments will be shared with our team here at Hampton Grove. Thank you.
Our friend came to Barchester Hampton Grove Care Home on two-week respite. We had never had dealings with a care home and were very anxious about this and the thought of making this decision on behalf of someone we found very upsetting. No need to at all - the home is absolutely lovely and all the staff are so lovely, welcoming, caring etc. 100% no worries and all parties involved. 100% happy. Never seen our friend so happy in three years.
We would like to thank you for your kind words in this review and pleased your friend settled well into our home. Thank you.

As an ambassador, I act as a friendly and familiar face for other residents and their families, offering a bridge between home life and our community.
You’ll often see me around the home, whether I’m socially engaging with staff and families or rolling up my sleeves to help out. I particularly enjoy getting involved with our activities programme or spending time in the garden, helping to keep our outdoor spaces vibrant and welcoming for everyone.
I’m always happy to have a chat and share my experiences, so please do say hello if you see me about!

Care is my true passion. I feel incredibly blessed to give back and support our residents every day. Quite simply, my job makes me happy and proud. I am ambitious and hardworking, qualities that led me to become a finalist in the Barchester Care Awards in 2025. My goal is to ensure that every resident here enjoys a life-enriching experience that is truly their 'best life'.
Outside of work, I’m very close with my mum and the rest of my family. We all share a huge love for travel, and the furthest I’ve explored so far is the Caribbean! When I’m not planning my next trip, I love socialising and spending quality time with family & friends.
