Hampton Grove Care Home offers residential care in a modern care home located within landscaped gardens in Hampton Vale on the outskirts of Peterborough. All accommodation is en suite with a wet-room style shower. The home offers a hairdressing salon, community bar and a vibrant activities programme.

The home provides residential, respite, palliative and dementia care. Bedrooms are set across four floors and each floor has two living rooms and its own dining room, allowing residents to relax and socialise.

Residents can enjoy the home's landscaped gardens which include a seating area and gazebo, which is ideal for socialising. Meals are freshly prepared onsite by trained chefs, who offer a range of nutritious and tasty meals, catering for special dietary requirements.

While the activities coordinators are responsible for overseeing a varied and busy activities programme, they are supported by the wider Barchester Life Enrichment team who provide access to a wide range of virtual and interactive resources including Oomph to ensure there is something for everyone to enjoy.

My father was at Hampton Grove for many years, staff were all excellent. My father couldn't have any better care in such a lovely, clean home. He was happy here for so many years, and management was so kind to us with his passing. Would highly recommend this home to other families looking.

Barchester Hampton Grove is an excellent care home. The home itself is finished to a high standard and is very welcoming. My mother has been very well looked after since moving in a year ago. The staff and carers are doing a fantastic job despite the current Covid19 pandemic.

It's taken a while but I'd like to thank on behalf of our family all the staff and management at Hampton Grove for their outstanding care of my mum in the last few months of her life. They took in a very poorly and confused elderly lady in the middle of a global pandemic and gave her the love and security
that she needed, and made her feel safe and looked after. At the end of her life, they were very compassionate and supportive to us and helped us to cope with such a difficult time. We can't really thank any of them enough.

I have been visiting the home for 10 and a half years. My sister in law was in here for 8 and a half years and now my husband for 4 and a half years. It is an excellent home. Staff good and caring. Food excellent. Always made welcome, staff like family. Have recommended several people.

As we cannot go into the home it's hard to do a review. But all the staff are very good and care for him. We have had garden visits and he comes out and is always smart and tidy. Now is the time we worry about coming to see him as it is too cold outside for him. My mum is in assisted living and has
a flat with care but it is too cold to bring her now at 93 years old.

My mum has to have temporary care whilst her husband was in hospital due to her having vascular dementia. Whenever I visited Hampton Grove or rang the staff were so friendly and kind. If my mum ever had to permanently go into a nursing/care home I would only choose Hampton Grove.

My father went to Hampton Grove for respite to give my mum a break. He walked into the care home walking and talking but came out in a wheelchair and has never been able to talk to us again and an ambulance had to be called when we got him home. He was admitted to hospital with a bad UTI which had been
undetected by the care home. During his two weeks stay, he had two falls, having never fallen over at home at all since his dementia diagnosis or stroke. We struggled to get any details of what happened and what injuries he had, communication within the care home team was very poor and also communication to my mother. I had to call a meeting with the assistant manager to get some kind of answers which she was reluctant to have and during that meeting it became pretty apparent how bad communication was. Once we got my father's belongings back, quite a few items of clothing were and still are missing but to our horror in his case were items including medication belonging to other people.
