Mum is not engaging with the home well but that is no change from living in her own home, quite honestly.
They show concern for mum and so try to engage and include her. She always say everyone is very kind, the food is okay which is high praise from her!
Hello, thank your very much for your kind review. We are happy that mum is settled at Aire View and enjoys the food, we enjoy looking after mum. I will pass on your review to the wider staff team.
(2) The entrance door was broken for weeks, which is unfortunate, but leaving it unlocked & unsupervised 24 hours a day is not acceptable considering the nature of the building.
(3) On leaving the home on one occasion I was handed my wife's medication box which had pills left in the box which should have been taken !!! On another occasion when I was leaving the home, they lost the medication box !!!! I had to go back later in the day to collect it after they found it. This meant my wife had not been given her correct medication as & when it was prescribed !!!
(4) On several occasions I had to put the waste bin in the corridor as it had remained unemptied for several days & contained uneaten fruit.
(5) I supplied the home with about 100 D.V.D.s (I do voluntary work for a hospice & they send all D.V.D.s to land fill !!! ) yet each room had D.V. D. players which did not work!
(6) On one occasion when my wife moved in, there were no coat hangers! So I offered to supply them free of charge (the hospice again) I was told that your laundry company supplied them free of charge so they were not needed. (They thanked me) Next time I check the Wardrobe it had over 50 coat hangers inside. Childish to say the least!
(7) As a retired heating engineer I could not help but notice when I was leaving one day, (It was summer) that some 80 % of the windows were open (The rooms were too hot!) This is a great way to waste huge amounts of money !!! The heating should have the room temperature turned down to 18 degrees overnight, saving money and making it more comfortable for the occupants!
(8) I keep getting repeated emails requesting me to pay the fee's that are outstanding, firstly I paid all the fee's before my wife moved in! Secondly the emails are "No reply" so how am I expected to resolve this?
Hi, thank you for your review. We take all reviews seriously & value all feedback. I am sorry if we have not met expectations on the 3 separate stays. I can confirm that your wife did see the Chiropodist & the Hairdresser on the following dates - Chiropodist 24/10/25 & 05/12/25. Hairdresser -...
My Dad has been a resident since June and has settled in really well. The staff and management are so lovely and approachable. It made a difficult decision so much better. Dad has joined some activities and especially loves his Mens club.

Staff are lovely, very friendly and helpful.
Activities are fantastic and a lot of variety.
Rooms are really nice with lovely en suite bathrooms. All in all iexcellent.
Thank you so much for your lovely kind review. It is an absolute pleasure to care for your mum. I will pass on your lovely review to the wider staff team.
The only criticism I would make would be the consistency in my dad's room being tidy, some days his wardrobes are untidy and I have to put his clothes back neatly. The home would benefit from some more modern furniture as some table and chairs are a bit worn.
Thank you for looking after my dad.
Thank you very much for your kind review. We take all feedback seriously and we are so happy that we are meeting your expectations. It is a pleasure to look after your loved one. I will pass on your review to the wider staff team. Kind regards.
My 99-year-old mother has just had 2 weeks of respite in Aire View Care Home. We would like to thank each and every one of you for the lovely care you have shown my mother in this time. She said you were so good to her. She said the food was great, the room and the whole set-up. She said she would stay again. Hats off to all you lovely people for taking such great care of my mum.

Excellent care provided to my husband. First time for respite needed. Slightly worried, but no need at all. Food very good. Rooms excellent. Garden very good. Care 5 stars.

Had a couple of minor issues, brought them to the managers attention and they were sorted within minutes. We had our reservations about putting mum into a care home, however she has settled well and is happy to be living here.

My mum has been a resident of Aire view for 3 years now, I have always found members of staff to be very friendly and helpful, (office staff, carers, activities staff, and cleaning/domestic staff) I have no concerns with my mum's welfare, she has severe dementia but seems happy in herself when i visit. I am always informed of any issues and the staff all seem very caring, the home is always clean and the food looks great. I have no issues with my mum residing at Aire view and it's reassuring to know she is well cared for.
Thank you for your lovely feedback. Your feedback means a lot to the team, and it will be a pleasure to pass it on to them. We are delighted that the experiences of both you and your mum have been so positive. Take Care.
The staff are very caring, the events Co-ordinator brings people alive, it's fantastic, the food is excellent. All very clean. It's just wonderful. She loves Nat king Cole. Really satisfied with everything.
Thank you for your lovely kind words. We are delighted that you hold our home in such high regard. Your feedback means the world to us. I can't wait to feed this back to our appreciated, dedicated and hard working team. Take care.
WOW !!! Aire View Care Home in my opinion provides exceptional excellent care from the viewing we had, whilst my mum was in hospital. One staff member in particular is wonderful, she took time to listen and provided a personalised care plan focusing on her needs, very friendly and professional. The care assistants to senior staff and off course team leaders all work extremely hard and are always professional, friendly and supportive to any questions you may have. Aire View comes highly recommended, top stars for cleanliness and safety. Mum has adjusted and settled in nicely and I wish to share a big thank you to all staff for making my mums stay at Aire View a comfortable one.
Thank you so much for your kind words, we are thrilled to hear that you are having a positive experience with us. Your feedback means a lot to the team, and we're delighted that we could meet your expectations. It will bring me great pleasure in feedbacking back to our dedicated teams in the next team meeting that their hard work is appreciated. Take care.
Clean and welcoming and a friendly environment and I know my sister is well looked after which eases all her family's minds.
Thank you for your kind words and feedback, the team at Aire View work extremely hard to provide a quality service to all the residents in which we support.
The entertainer was excellent, engaging the residents, visitors, and staff alike. It was a very uplifting afternoon.
Everyone enjoyed themselves, joining in, singing, and dancing. The staff were on hand throughout, and obviously enjoy working there. Well organised, great afternoon. Thank you all.
I was disappointed to hear that a member of staff was pulled up over their lack of punctuation in a piece of written work that they were doing. I would be concerned if their care was lacking towards a resident. They are not at school!
It is a difficult decision to make to place a parent in residential care but Aire View endeavours to make the decision less traumatic. The staff show genuine care and compassion for the residents and my mother who is not always the most positive individual but does value the care she is shown. I also deeply appreciate the care my father was given before his death. I feel every effort is made to make the home a positive experience. Planned upgrading of the rooms would be a protracted scheme at the moment. Would appreciate updates.
Staff all seem very caring and good. Food seems good. Garden is really nice. Rooms are ok. Lounge could be a bit bigger when all residents are present e.g. more seating.
