My mum has lived at Aire View Care Home for more than six years. She has been very well cared for throughout by the staff and feels very much at home.

I have been very pleased with how the care home at Aire View has catered for my mum's needs. The carers have all been supportive, kind and gone the extra mile with regard to the care of my mum. Mum's room is a very pleasant one, and Mum is always keen to tell me how much she enjoys the food and the friendliness of the staff. So overall, it is a very satisfactory home for my mum.

My mother has dementia. My father passed away in January 2021, leaving my mother living alone. Earlier this year, we (my family) took the tough decision that my mother was no longer able to look after herself. We undertook an extensive search of various local Care Homes. On our visit to look around Aire View, we were able to see first hand the lovely way the residents were looked after and treated by the staff. We all immediately thought that this was the right place for my mother. Aire View have more than lived up to this. My mother (a tough, belligerent and independent character) is settled, happy and looks better than she has done for many years. I am so grateful to the staff at Aire View who have my mother's life so pleasant and enjoyable. In addition, despite COVID restrictions, I am always made to feel so welcome when I visit. Thank you.
Thank you for taking the time to review Aire View Care Home in Leeds. Thank you for your lovely comments my staff go above and beyond in their care and support, not only for all our residents but for relatives too. We continually aim to improve and listen to our residents and relatives to ensure...
My dad has vascular dementia and I feel that overall the staff at the care home are doing a good job in taking care of him, especially under the pressure of the pandemic. Occasionally I have noticed that Dad's nails and hair grow quite long, and I have had to request that they get cut a few times. Also with Dad being in their dementia suite, other residents often wander into his room and take things, so unfortunately he has been missing both his pairs of prescription glasses for several months. The staff are nice and keep me well informed of any incidents that occur.
Not long after a visit, my mum tried to leave her room and fell. The staff decided she needed an ambulance, and she was taken to the hospital. One of the carers accompanied her. I was not available until early evening. Mum fell at 3.30 pm, and the carer stayed with her until 9 pm. Mum was in the hospital for four days. On her return to the care home, she was welcomed back, and as always, received excellent care. I cannot fault the staff for the care Mum has been given in the five last five years. Thank you.
Thank you for taking the time to review Aire View Care Home in Leeds. Thank you for your kind comments, providing support including on this occasion escorting to the hospital is part of the service we aim to provide. We continually strive to improve and I will pass on your kind comments to all the staff. Best Wishes.
My father became a resident towards the end of February 2022. I was a bit reluctant to take this step, but it was the best thing I could have done. He has settled in better than I could hope for. He gets on well with the staff and loves a joke. The food is excellent. I'm very happy for him to be there.

Since my mum entered Aire View back in 2017, she has received exemplary care, consideration, and respect from all the staff there. They show her and us, her family, a level of interest and attention which makes us feel included and a part of Mum's continuing care. We would heartily recommend the home to others.

My mum moved into Aire View in January 2022 and it was one of the hardest decisions I had to make. But the care that is provided is first class. She is well looked after and safe which is a blessing for me as I live in Ireland. I cannot get to see her as often as I would like so the home arranges weekly Skype calls between me and Mum which is great. Every member of staff that I have met has been kind, caring, and empathetic and I would recommend Aire View to anyone having to make the decision to put their loved one into a care home. They are a fantastic team and willing to go that extra mile.

I am so happy that my mother is settled and well cared for at the home. Every visit I can see for myself that she is doing well and the staff all seem genuinely committed to the welfare of the residents. The home is a lovely clean, light, and airy environment and my mother's room overlooks the garden, so it is always a pleasure to visit her. As a former support worker, I can say from experience that Aire View is one of the best run and most presentable homes I have come across. I am so grateful to the staff who make my mother's later life so pleasant.

Mum has recently moved into Aire View and I am impressed by the warm and friendly staff - not just the welcoming receptionist and home manager, but everyone is so helpful. Mum originally came for a 3-week respite and now is staying permanently! I cannot thank you all enough for the care and support you have given me and my mum - you have all been through a horrid year with the pandemic and it's great to see you all so happy and positive. I now don't worry about mum as I know she is well cared for and safe.

It is a true pleasure having her living with us, as part of the loving care community that we create, giving you and your family the peace of mind you deserve. Best wishes, Rachel.
Dad spent approximately 2.5 years at Aire View. Had it not been for lockdown he would have left in 2020. From Day 1 the staff 'trained him' that help would not come when required. Consequently, he had to suffer the indignity of using 'continence knickers' despite knowing when he needed the toilet because sometimes he had to wait over an hour for help to get him to the bathroom. Furthermore, the staff did not help to keep his clothes clean at mealtimes to compensate for his Parkinson's symptoms. In his final 24 hours, the staff failed to communicate the meaning of 'Fast Track' to my brother. They also only permitted a 30-minute visit which resulted in Dad dying alone and without a loved one. I can never recommend Aire View as a care home.
Thank you for taking the time to review Aire View Care Home. It was a pleasure to have had your father as part of our loving care community here at Aire View, and he is deeply missed by all. In regards to continence supplies, these are made by assessment from the NHS continence service as to what...

Every time I visit Aire View Care Home the staff are always so professional and polite. My Mum is very comfortable and always seems happy there and the carers keep her looking clean and tidy. Over Covid lockdown issues, their visiting regulations and procedures have been excellent and provided a visiting pod in the garden (which is fabulous) to help with providing more visits since things have opened up in care homes. A great care home.

Thankfully visiting your loved ones at Aire View and like many other homes, they are continuing to work towards getting back to a 'more normal' experience. The care, attention, and friendly and helpful staff have made it less worrying for me. It's wonderful to be able to visit Mum face to face and spend valuable time together. A big thank you to all.
