Dad moved in during this period. Staff have allowed him to settle in whilst encouraging him and have supported us through the transition too.

Everyone is welcoming, we've been encouraged to bring familiar things in. Small requests to help him settle have been sorted with no problems.

I would like to thank the wonderful team at Oakwood Grange Care Home for the care they gave to my Grandad, Ken, during his time with you.
Every member of staff treated him with genuine kindness, patience, and respect. You took the time to get to know him, talk with him, and make him feel comfortable and valued. and always with dignity, reassurance, and warmth.
You cared for us as a family just as thoughtfully. You kept us informed, welcomed us every time we visited, and supported us with compassion during the most difficult moments. The way you handled everything around Grandad's passing was calm, respectful, and deeply appreciated.
Oakwood Grange is filled with people who truly care, and I will always be grateful for the comfort and kindness you gave Grandad, and the support you gave us all as a family.

The staff are very friendly and helpful there seems to be more staff on shifts which seems to have taken pressures off which is good. The home is clean and tidy and my mum enjoys the activities and singers and would like more to be available if possible. Overall we are happy with the experience at Oakwood Grange.

Access to the home is restricted and requires the team to allow entry (good). While my father is now bed-bound he has regular visit/support from the team also visits by staff residents. The team provide excellent service to ensure my father is comfortable and safe. I visit on a regular basis and have no concerns about welfare and care. Thank you.

My nanna has been a resident of Oakwood Grange for nearly 3 years now. The care and love she receives is outstanding. We know that she is safe, cared for & loved to the best that we could want for her. I recommend this home to everyone I know, even people I don't know. I will be forever thankful to the staff at Oakwood Grange for giving my nanna the care that I couldn't anymore.

Oakwood Grange care home is a lovely place, the staff are all very friendly and helpful, my mum has been living here over 12 months and is 100% better, she has gained weight, she gets on well with all of the staff and residents. The only thing would be activities and days out should be more frequent, other than that everything is 100%.

My aunt's health has declined quite severely since being admitted to hospital in December, having had pneumonia. Since returning to Oakwood Grange, she has been treated with care and dignity, during a difficult period for her. I have received timely and regular communication from the staff, which has been very reassuring at this time.

We cannot speak highly enough of Oakwood Grange, our mum was made welcome and comfortable straight away. Mum is happy and always singing now. The staff are very attentive to the resident, and this is always very evident when we visit. We know Mum is always clean and well looked after. We feel mum is very safe and secure, which gives us peace of mind, which is so important.

Mum was a resident at Oakwood Grange for two years.
The care and support given to her was outstanding.
When she needed end of life care it was given unstintingly, with compassion and the utmost love.
The home was always welcoming, nothing was too much trouble, the staff without exception were of the highest standard.

A lovely and loving home.

After visiting many care homes, we visited Oakwood and knew instinctively it was just right for our mum. Very welcoming, homely, lovely atmosphere and really good home-cooked food which mam enjoyed. Mam was extremely well cared for at Oakwood. She was surrounded by a brilliant team of very dedicated, understanding and hardworking staff. We cannot thank all the staff enough for their love, care and support. We highly recommend Oakwood, it's a wonderful home.

Oakwood Grange has been a true blessing for our family. From the moment my mum moved in, the entire team has been nothing short of amazing. They are warm, friendly, and genuinely caring - it's clear they treat every resident like a member of their own family.

What has made the biggest difference for me personally is the peace of mind they've given us. Looking after Mum had become increasingly stressful and worrying, but since she's been in their care, that burden has completely lifted. I know she's safe, comfortable, and well cared for every single day.

The staff are excellent communicators and always keep us updated, which means we feel connected and involved even when we can't be there in person. It's such a comfort to know Mum is in such capable and kind hands.

I truly can't thank them enough - Oakwood Grange in my view is outstanding

Choosing this care home has been the best decision my family has made.
From the start the staff have been warm, friendly and supportive. They have truly created a homely environment where everyone is treated with dignity, respect and kindness.
One of the things that really stands out for me is the fantastic range of activities offered.mum has been able to stay active and engaged. It's been wonderful to see her happy and engaged.

Oakwood grange is more than just a care home it's a vibrant, caring community. My whole family are deeply grateful for everything they do. Thank you to all the wonderful staff

The manager and her staff have been absolutely lovely from the moment I went to visit Oakwood Grange with a view to my dad needing a place in a care home urgently. In the 8 weeks that he has been there they have done an initial detailed care plan, adapting it to fit dad's needs as they got to know him more. Every time we visit there is a member of staff that is keen to let us know how he is doing, and they have contacted us promptly over a couple of issues as dad settled in. The staff have also been kind and caring towards me and my husband, recognising that it is also a difficult time for us. Dad is now settling and less anxious, and we know he is safe and well cared for by the staff.

I cannot speak too highly of the care I have received. I have only been in residence for a matter of weeks but during that time my husband died and the care and consideration I have received has been without parallel. Both staff and management have made it the best place to be at this time.

Have been quite impressed by my time at Oakwood Grange. I did not know what to expect as many bad reviews are published about various care homes. I have settled here well. Everyone is so friendly. Managment, staff, carers and other residents food is varied and good, room is clean and common areas attractive and welcoming. Can eat in the dining room or my own room - it is good to have a choice. There are lots of smiley faces about which is good too.

Mum has been living at Oakwood for over six months. Mum experienced appalling care at her two previous care homes, and so, understandably, I was initially apprehensive. This was soon replaced with joy and relief.

Mum's bed is always clean, her clothes are clean and respectfully put neatly back into her wardrobe, and nothing has gone missing. Mum is so much more settled and always clean. She is kept safe within the home as the carers understand Mum's dementia and her particular behaviours and the risks around that. Mum's care plan shows that it has been written with knowledge, understanding and professionalism that I haven't seen in her previous two care homes, all of this gives me confidence and happiness and I am so grateful to everyone, the owners, management, carers and everyone who works at Oakwood for giving such a high and professional standard of care, it means more than I can really put into words.

We took the difficult decision to move my mother into a care home in June 2024. From the moment we visited the care home, we knew we had made the right decision. The staff at Oakwood Grange could not be more caring. My mother loved her time there. Sadly, she has now passed but I know that in the relatively short time she was there, she felt safe and well looked after by the excellent staff. Thank you to all at Oakwood Grange for the love and care you showed to my mother.
