Our dad has been in Foxton Court for 5 months .
Before deciding on Foxton Court we looked at a number of care homes in the area and we are so glad we decided on Foxton as our dad is so well cared for by a wonderful team of carers at the home . They are very friendly and patient with everyone. They have taken time to understand our dad's needs and have helped him to settle into the home , they care for him in a professional manner whilst being mindful to maintain his dignity at all times.
The culture of the home is obviously driven from the management down who always make time to discuss our dad's needs with us and from the moment we walk into the home and are greeted warmly by the lovely office / reception staff we instantly feel that this is the right place for our Dad .

We have got to know members of the kitchen and cleaning /laundry staff as well as many of the carers and activity team and everyone no matter how busy they are always have time for residents and visitors alike.

Three years ago we called into Foxton, to find a placement for mum who was 99 years old, in hospital, and unable to go home. Our experience of the home over the years confirmed our first impressions. A senior member of staff showed us round, there was a lovely friendly atmosphere with residents chatting with staff as they went about their work. Visually the home was fresh and beautifully styled, the dining tables were set with white tablecloths and wine glasses. Everything conveyed a respect for the residents and a desire to maintain their dignity despite their frailty and need of help. The inventive daily activity programme has been important, as has been the good standard and choice of meals. Mum has put on weight!
Although there is a high turnover of staff, who are rotated through the different floors, all seem well informed, able and kind. Communication is good between staff and shifts, and with the family.

We can rest easy knowing mum is receiving good care from skilled workers.

Thank you for your lovely comments, we are so pleased that your mum is having such a positive experience at Foxton Court. We aim to make sure that every staff member has knowledge of each of the residents' needs, and we regularly rotate staff between the floors to ensure this. If you have any additional questions regarding staffing, please don't hesitate to get in touch. Thank you

My Mum has been resident in Foxton Court for just over a year. She was very unwell on admission following a lengthy hospital stay. The staff have looked after her very well restoring her to her current optimal health. They have always responded to any acute changes to her health in a timely way and sought medical assistance as necessary. As her daughter I am reassured that she is in a safe environment with all of her needs being met.
She has the option of a daily choice of gentle activities in the communal lounge. These are varied and the staff are thoughtful in the choices available. Unfortunately mum doesn't engage with these very often preferring to stay in her room which overlooks the beautiful garden. The food is very good with options available each day. Staff generally are personable and accommodating of mum's wishes. Mum prefers some staff over others. She has access to the GP weekly as she requires.

The home is kept clean/comfortable and is a friendly environment to visit.

I will be forever grateful to foxton court and the staff. I feel very lucky that my mother is in their excellent care. The care home have a variety of daily activities, bus trips out and special events. This has helped my mum , as she is a very sociable lady..My mother has dementia, over the past 7 weeks my mother has become very confused and not able to do the things she has been able to. It has been utterly heartbreaking for me and the family. The staff have been very caring, understanding, supportive and kind. Not only with mum but for me also. At this very very difficult time.

My relative has been resident at Foxton Court, Morpeth since 2024. He settled well and to date remains happy and confident in his environment. He is comfortable, clean, tidy and well cared for. The location and condition of the building are very good with nice gardens and outside space. The interior is comfortable and the standard of cleanliness is good. I have found staff across all departments to be pleasant, friendly and proficient within their remit. I observe care staff to be pleasant, hard working and respectful of residents and their capabilities, individual needs and requirements. However I observe staff shortages within the care team operating at Foxton Court. This requires immediate resolution in order for all to continue enjoying their best quality of life and comforts. Overall I am happy that my relative lives at Foxton Court and continues to enjoy a comfortable and secure quality of life.

I came to Foxton Court after hospital discharge from a hip replacement. I originally booked or a 2 week stay but extended it to 19 days as I enjoyed it so much. The standard of care, although I did not need much help, was good, but what was most outstanding was the friendliness of all the staff, and the warm welcome they gave me. I felt part of a very loving and caring community.
Meals were good and well balanced, with a good choice. In between, coffee, tea, biscuits and fruit were regularly offered.

I had my 80th birthday in here and the staff baked a celebratory cake. All my visitors were made most welcome. My experience here has taken away the fear of having to 'go into care' if I need to be in the future. Cannot recommend highly enough.

I visit my mum most days at Foxton Court Care Home. The staff / Carers are all so kind and helpful, my mum is well looked after and most importantly they interact with her and she appreciates that. I must mention the housekeeping girls too, they are brilliant! They are super friendly and chat with the residents with such a lovely attitude. All in all I feel mum couldn't be a better environment.

Sadly my mum was entered into end of life care last Tuesday and since then the level of care provided by all staff has been OUTSTANDING. The care was expertly given not only to my mum, but also to my sister and I, who were at her side over this very stressful and emotional time.
Day and night staff treated my mum with the upmost respect at all times, ensuring that she was as comfortable as possible, contacting the relevant outside agencies whenever they were required. Housekeeping made readily a room for the comfort of my sister and I, providing toiletries and very fluffy towels and were constantly asking if we needed anything or could do anything for us.

The actions of the Foxton Court team, helped my sister and I to be able to cope with this unbelievably sad situation. A huge thank you to all.

Mum has been in residence for a number of years now. Overall she seems to be happy with the care she gets as are her family. There have been many changes over the years with owners and staff. COVID was not good for anyone. All the staff take time to speak to her where they are carers, cleaners, cooks and laundry ladies.

Mum moved into Foxton Court in March 2024, staff helped ease Mum into her new home, it's such a life change for her. The home is clean and welcoming, rooms are personalised for the individual. Staff are lovely to both Mum and visitors. We're included in tea/coffee breaks.
TV reception is sometimes very poor in the rooms - signal is often lost.

Think homes are very pricey in general.

My mother is very happy at Foxton Court. She has company and good food and feels safe and cared for. The facilities are spotless and although the staff are busy, it is quite easy to find a member of staff if I need to speak to someone. My mother sometimes has to wait some time if she needs staff assistance but has no complaints. It is a great weight off my mind knowing she is in good hands.

My Mum spent time in Foxton Court Morpeth for respite care. I cannot speak highly enough of the care and support provided for Foxton Court. Our experience was extremely positive in respect of the facilities and standard of care. It was a difficult time for both Mum and me, we were venturing into new territory. My stress levels and anxiety were through the roof, however, the staff at Foxton Court helped us both.

The staff was extremely supportive, kind, and compassionate. I felt confident that Mum was in the best place and was being cared for. The staff was friendly and attentive (Mum has multiple issues including sight loss, dysphasia, and poor mobility) she felt comfortable at home. The rooms are comfortable and well set out. The standard of cleanliness was excellent. I have no hesitation in recommending Foxton Court.
