The management and care teams are extremely friendly and caring. Always a pleasure to visit.
The teams are very keen to ensure residents and family are happy with the support levels and always pull out the stops to ensure social/multicultural and religious backgrounds are met. Very pleased with the
level of service.

The overall standard of Clare Court is excellent. The care support team, management and staff cannot do enough to make my father-in-law feel comfortable. Nothing is too much trouble.
The food and drink offered hs great variety at all mealtimes. His toom is spotless, always clean and tidy. I would have
no hesitation in recommending Clare Court to friends and family.

My father settled into his care home at Clare Court Winson Green very quickly. This was mainly because of the support he received from the staff, management and care team. The overall standard of the home is excellent. Food has a great variety at all mealtimes. My father loves his cups of tea and is
always topped up and never wanting. I am so pleased we chose Clare Court as my fathers care home.

We're a group of friends who have known each other a fairly long time. Unfortunately, one friend is now in Clare Court. Most of our group have visited our friend in the last 18-24 months. I heard a good deal of favourable accounts re all their visits. I visited today for the first time and was extremely
impressed by everything I encountered. Our friend is happy, very well cared for and enjoys everything about your home. This means a great deal to us all as we can leave knowing our friend is settled and in very good hands. I've been a volunteer and have, therefore, visited many care homes to support residents who may not have any family or friends to visit and support them. Clare Court exceeded my expectations and lifted my hope that our older people can be treated with the respect and care they deserve.

My cousin was resident at Clare Court for the last twenty months of his life. The staff were very caring to him and love to chat with them all.
The care he received gave him a new lease of life. He loved the food and amount of choice he was given. The facilities were of a very high standard and the
activities were also excellent. He loved the little get together in the lounge and the afternoon films.
I visited him every week and was impressed with all the care he received.

I have been welcomed very well as I have made pastoral visits. My Parishioner has been well looked after. Only on 2 occasions, I attended was his room not the standard which I had become used to. The lunch had not been cleared away and the room was untidy. This may have been down to many reasons. I
did not inquire. I am impressed with the dedication and care provided by all levels of staff which I have met.

Visited a friend to celebrate her birthday. Staff were so kind and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. My ex-partner has been in another care home. That care home could learn some valuable lessons from Clare Court. The difference in the standard of care is amazing!

Clare Court is an excellent home. All the staff are very caring and approachable and all the reception team are brilliant, always smiling and a very warm welcome when you walk in. I can't express my words how wonderful the care is for my aunty. Every time I visit she is always so happy here. I would
like my feedback to go to the staff to let them know what an excellent job they are all doing. Well done Clare Court.

Current Review Score: 8.4 (8.432)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 8.4 (8.432) out of 10 for Clare Court Care Home - Avery Healthcare is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.2 out of 5 from 10 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.3 out of 5 from 9 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.169 for Clare Court Care Home - Avery Healthcare is calculated as follows: ( (57 Excellents x 5) + (45 Goods x 4) + (4 Satisfactorys x 3) + (3 Poors x 2) + (9 Very Poors x 1) ) ÷ 118 Ratings = 4.169
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 4.263 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Clare Court Care Home - Avery Healthcare is based on 9 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 = 3.7
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 80 registered maximum number of service users is 16. 9 Positive Reviews ÷ 16 = 0.563
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
