Park Hall is a residential and dementia care home which continues to welcome new residents and it is located at the heart of the Bentilee community in Stoke-on-Trent. The home has been built with the care of its residents in mind, each of the 60 rooms has en suite facilities.

Operated by Anchor, Park Hall's team of experienced and skilled care workers provide personalised care in safe and supportive surroundings.

The care home focuses on creating the best environment for each resident, from the quality seasonal and locally-sourced food provided at meal times to the range of activities.

The staff have cared for my Mum with Covid and now she's on the mend, nothing has been too much for them. I honestly don't think she would have made it through without them. They have constantly kept me updated, I rang numerous times a day and never felt like I was pestering them. I do feel so comfortable
with these carers they know me and now it's a lovely little extended family.

My Mum was a resident at Parkhall for 17 months from 3rd May 2019 until her passing in the loving care of Parkhall on 29th October 2020. Lead by the manager, the entire 62 members of staff are a wonderful caring team and a credit to the Anchor Hanover Group. During her 17 months at Parkhall, the love,
care, devotion, kindness and laughter she got from every member of staff was exceptional, as was the support shown to us. The continuity in management and the way in which the manager spearheads the running of Parkhall with the residents' care being the main priority, is in our opinion why we have no hesitation in recommending Parkhall as a wonderful place for Residential Care.

My experience so far has been very positive. The staff at Park Hall are cheerful and friendly and we are greeted with a smile. Residents are treated with respect and dignity however busy the staff are. There is a pleasant atmosphere throughout.

Mum moved into Park Hal in November 2019 and has settled very well. The staff have treated Mum with respect, dignity and feeling when she has been confused or upset, and always with a smile on their faces. They also make my sister, me and our families very welcome too.

Mum spent her final few weeks at Park Hall. During that time, the carers could not do enough for her. They treated mum with the utmost respect and dignity. They provided the comfort and support she needed. If you are looking for a care home for your loved one, you will not go wrong with Park Hall.

Mum has sadly passed away now but the care she received at Park Hall care home was excellent. Mum wasn't happy to go into a care home but the carers helped her to settle in. They were like an extended family. They were caring, gentle and compassionate. They were kind and loving towards mum as well as
being professional and treated her with the dignity she deserved and we were comforted that mum was in such gentle and caring hands.

My mother was at the end stage of dementia and the care, thought and love shown to her by all the staff was exceptional. I can't thank them enough. This applies to all staff; office, kitchen, dining, maintenance and of course the wonderful staff of lounge three.

My Nan was only at Park Hall for four months before her death but we wished we had moved her to Park Hall sooner than we had. All the staff were very caring and always 'present' around the corridors and communal rooms. Nan's room was lovely, bright, clean and spacious. She enjoyed the many activities
that went on during the week and her appetite seemed to have improved which can only be a reflection on the food. Thank you for such wonderful care for my Nan.

Park Hall is, in my opinion, the best Residential Care Home in Stoke on Trent. In 2014, when looking for a home for my father-in-law, we visited 16 homes, Park Hall came top of our criteria and care requirements but unfortunately no places were available.
Five years on, when the need for my mother-in-law
arose to go into care, we had no hesitation in approaching Park Hall. I had retained my notes from five years earlier. Our initial enquiry visit for my mother-in-law, at Park Hall confirmed our hopes. The staff are fantastic, happy, caring, efficient, thoughtful and understanding. This atmosphere stems from the Manager who runs Park Hall with such attention to detail with the residents' welfare being first most.
The building is very well laid out and we love the atrium which is bright and airy. The internal garden features are beautiful. Activities are excellent and get everyone involved, even visitors. My mother-in-law is settled happily and very well cared for. Food quality is excellent.

I would like to thank the staff for all the hard work they put in making Christmas decorations with the residents and how nice the lounge's looked on Christmas Day. The staff made all the visitors very welcome.

My mother moved in at the end of August and her health, weight and general welfare has improved week by week. My family and I all agree she is better now than she has been for the last year. I recently took her for an eye screening (out of the home) and the optician commented that she could see my
mother was being looked after. This is a huge compliment to the care team on lounge 3.

Staff is outstanding, nothing is too much for them. Management will do anything for you and help with everything. Food is fantastic. Spotlessly clean. Excellent value for money. Perfect for all purposes. Excellent in every way. Can't fault it, so happy.

This care home is well recommended. Since my mother has been at this home, staff have made her feel very welcome from day one, the staff are all friendly, reliable and take pride in their appearance. The manager and her staff are always welcoming to family members who may have some issues, their doors
are always open to their offices. The home is very much a part of the community and is very inspirational in adopting the support of the families. They arrange theme day/nights and are always engaging with the families and also arrange regular dementia programs that help families come to terms and understand the individual suffering with dementia. In summary - Well done to the manager and all the staff for your hard work that you do on a daily basis, we do take you all for granted and perhaps sometimes don't give you our appreciation. So here is my congratulations and thank you again for the care and service you provide for my mum.

My Mum is very happy at Parkhall Care home. We are always made to feel welcome. I can ask anything and they will do the best to sort it out. Care staff are nice and plenty of smiles in the home. You can see that residents like the staff.

My mum has been at Park Hall care home for about 5 years. I feel she is well looked after and the staff are all great. I just wish they were given more resource to spend more time on activities and trips out with the residents, considering the cost when my Mum was self-funded! However, I do understand
there has to be paperwork. There does seem an awful lot for the staff, which can get in the way of the time spent doing the actual job.

When I sat down to write this review I tried to think of a few 'buts' to slip in. I mean, "this is nice, but"; '"I like chat, but". I tried, I really did, but I couldn't think of any. There are none. My wife is a resident in the home and she loves it here, she is happy and content, as are all the residents
of Lounge 4, which is the area I am familiar with. The carers are all well trained and are also nice and friendly.


This is where I intend to spend my final days.
