Park Hall is a residential and dementia care home which continues to welcome new residents and it is located at the heart of the Bentilee community in Stoke-on-Trent. The home has been built with the care of its residents in mind, each of the 60 rooms has en suite facilities.

Operated by Anchor, Park Hall's team of experienced and skilled care workers provide personalised care in safe and supportive surroundings.

The care home focuses on creating the best environment for each resident, from the quality seasonal and locally-sourced food provided at meal times to the range of activities.

Since the new manager, the staff have improved - more cheerful and more activities for the residents. Everyone is more happy. Sometimes, you have to wait for someone to answer the door.

Much improved home since new manager in place. Staff are more obliging and helpful, which reflects on Mum's wellbeing. Not often does anyone want to actually stay and live by choice in a care home - my mum does!

My mum has been a resident at Park Hall Care Home for a number of years. The care staff, cleaners and management are all excellent. They are very kind and caring. They go out of their way to make my mum feel safe and secure under very difficult circumstances. She is treated with dignity and respect

The home has a lovely atmosphere. Staff are very welcoming and helpful, my mum's overall care has been amazing since she has moved to Park Hall.
We are always kept informed if there are changes and telephoned straight away if there is a problem. Our mum is very happy here.

Mum's condition unfortunately deteriorated due to her complex medical problems as well as her dementia. Staff acted quickly and appropriately and contacted me and the relevant health care professionals. Sadly, mum's condition has not improved enough for her to be cared for at Park Hall now despite being
treated at the hospital. Mum now requires nursing care. The family and mum will miss Park Hall, its staff and support.

Choosing a care home was a very difficult decision for us as a family, made worse by the pandemic. The staff at Park Hall gave us the reassurance we needed and gave Mum the love and care she needed to settle in. This has continued, and we know that Mum is in the best place. She has down days, but I
know there is always someone there to comfort her and offer the support and love she needs and deserves.

I saw my mother, warm, well cared for in a beautiful, clean room. Menu was really good. I saw residents smiling and could feel a depth of warmth and caring. I saw evidence of activities and lovely, well throughout lounges. The staff on lounges-3 were excellent and went the extra mile for residents.
Staff made me welcome and showed empathy, warmth and understanding to me.

My husband has been in Park Hall for three weeks and I cannot fault any of it. The only thing I found was with me and things that I needed to know, I was not told things that I should have known. Please can you make sure all new residents' family are told everything.

My mum has been in the home for over three years. The service they provide is exceptional, words can’t express how I feel about everything they do for my mum. Our Dad struggled to settle in and accept his situation but the staff, his personal carer and the home manager have done everything they possibly could to accommodate Dad's needs both physically and emotionally. The personal care of our Dad has been amazing. Dad is well settled now and thinks of this
as his home and workplace! The administration of information is very good and time proficient. Staff have done their very best to accommodate our needs too as Dad's family and friends when visiting and needing information and help. During Covid, especially they have gone above and beyond to maintain contact between Dad and us and provided useful information regarding PPE, etc. Dad's main carer has maintained regular contact with us especially when Dad needed 'supplies'. This has been imperative for both Dad and us to ensure he has everything he would have got for himself. Entertainment and activities have been spot on even though Dad is not always willing to participate. That's our Dad!

Mum has been a resident of Park Hall for 2 years having sadly suffered a series of strokes resulting in vascular dementia. After a meeting with the Manager, my brother and I knew Park Hall was the best place for mum. From day one, the care at Park Hall has been excellent, run by an excellent caring
Manager and her excellent team of caring care staff. The home is extremely safe, excellently well kept, clean and offers a wonderful range of food with a great weekly menu. Residents are encouraged and enjoy participating in all forms of activities and it is wonderful to see updates and pictures on the Facebook site. During the past difficult 20 months of Covid-19, my family and I were confident to know mum was safe and we were able to have regular portal chats with her. We now enjoy visiting mum again under the strict guidelines set, have regular update relative meetings with a monthly newsletter. I can wholly recommend Park Hall Care Home.

Obviously the lockdown has been a very difficult time for us relatives and also our loved ones, but hopefully, the situation will soon get back to some normality. No one ever thought that we would be in such a terrible situation. Thankfully, my mum is very settled in the home and the staff are very

All of the staff have always been friendly and welcoming to us. We felt confident about leaving Mum at Park Hall because she's allowed to have some of her own furniture, ornaments and family pictures around her in her own room. It helps mum to feel settled with familiar things around her. We know Mum
is safe there because of the coded doors and the procedures staff follow when Mum has had a fall in phoning ambulances. They always keep us informed. They've provided an area, PPE and sanitiser for visiting during covid. We're happy she's with empathetic staff.

The staff at Park Hall have been consistent as well as informative of Mums needs, the care is second to none. They're an amazing second family to mum, she's cared for and clean. The rooms and bedding are always clean. They're very hands on and they have numerous activities for more active residents
and even the ones that aren't some how they find a way of getting them involved. Truly amazing home best decision me and my sister have made. When showing mum the home before she moved in she wanted move in that day, thanks lads and lassies for everything you do.

Professional friendly staff who care about the residents. Excellent facilities with bright ensuite rooms, 5 lounges with varied activities and quiet areas. Lovely surroundings kept clean and tidy with Atrium and Garden area. Staff let you know if there are issues with your loved one and keep you up
to date with any changes to procedures. You can always talk to senior staff and manager or the carers involved day to day. Nothing is too much trouble for them and you can also speak to your relative or they let them ring you. Highly recommend.
