Unfortunately, my mum experienced an unexplained collapse. The team's response was swift and thorough. An ambulance was called, and we were informed. The information received was very detailed and calmly delivered. On our subsequent visit, the ambulance was in attendance. Happily, my mum has already started to recover and was well enough to be left at the care home. The staff showed genuine care and empathy towards both my mum and us as a shaken family. Thank you so much.

Fantastic work from all the staff and management. Thank you.
Thank you for your review, we are so glad you and Mum enjoyed it, it was a very special day.
I haven’t seen my Grandma for nearly a year due to restrictions and today saw her for the 2nd time this year. I was delighted to see that a member of staff was now Deputy Manager, she had been an absolute credit to your care home for many years now and looking after my Grandma. It’s great to see such great management.
Thank you for your review, we are so happy to be welcoming visitors back in our home.
In July, my mum celebrated her 100th birthday, and under these unusual circumstances, she had a fantastic day. All the staff went out of their way to make mum's day special; reception, carers, laundry and kitchen. We had the room decorated and a lovely buffet with our own hostess. My mum is so well looked after all the time, not just on her special day.

Standards have definitely improved recently. Mum looks much brighter and mobile. She now looks well cared for resulting in a far more animated response when visiting. Very reassuring she is being stimulated and has individual attention if necessary. Thank you.

I just wanted to express my thanks for the provision of the pod. I visited Mum and Dad yesterday in the pod and found it to be a very positive experience. It was warm and bright, and the acoustics were excellent. The glass screen was so clean that I soon forgot it was there. I even managed to teach Dad to do a high five against it. A great facility in these difficult times. Thanks again and compliments of the season to all at Hall Park.

Since the arrival of the new manager at Hall Park, the care my parents have received has improved greatly. Prior to this, the home had had a temporary manager, and I was not informed or aware of how my parents were during Covid. It was an extremely difficult time. However, once he joined the home, I have been contacted weekly regarding my parent's health and well-being. Visits (garden) have been much easier to organise. More recently, my dad has deteriorated and the manager and his staff have been in constant contact with me to reorganise his care. I am delighted at this positive and inclusive style of management.

This is very early days for a review but I have to say that they have been great so far. Very helpful and informative. They made things as easy as possible in what was a difficult time. I will certainly post further reviews as time goes on but thanks to the management and staff we are confident that you will look after our mum.
Many thanks for your review. We look forward to continuing to provide the best standards of care.
I visit my auntie every week. She is happy and content here. It's nearly 5 years since she's been in and she says she can't fault them. The staff are caring, supportive and good fun. They have kept all the residents safe during this Covid outbreak.
I have been visiting the home for many years as my mother-in-law was a resident. My aunt enjoys the meals. I know that the care and love of the carers is absolutely great.
Nan is happy, clean, tidy, friendly.
I find Hall Park Care Home very clean and tidy and I have a lovely view from my bedroom window. I am well looked after by the team.
I am very happy with Hall Park but even more so since Barchester Healthcare have taken ownership. The home is now a lot cleaner, smells fresh and the meals are better and my Gran is so much happier in a happy home!

Meet the Team (9)

Hi, my name is Jodie, and I am the General Manager here at Hall Park. Welcome to our website!
I have 23 years of experience in care, have a level 5 qualification in health and social care and have been with Hall Park since the day we opened our doors in 2010. I am excited to be working here at Hall Park and very proud to be leading a wonderful team of people, all dedicated to supporting our extraordinary residents to live the best lives they can.
Our focus is to support residents to retain their interests for as long as possible while introducing them to new ones to enjoy with new friends.
Life enrichment is the heart of Hall Park.

I have worked at Hall Park for 9 years now and have progressed within my job role, from care assistant to Senior to Deputy manager, I enjoy working at Hall Park as every day brings something different.

I have been in the care sector for the past 34 years, starting as a care assistant and progressing along the way. I have always enjoyed working with dementia clientele and strive to empower those living with this to be as independent as they possibly can be. I have owned and managed a community care setting, as well as managed both residential and nursing settings. Having NVQ's level 2,3,4, and 5, I have a wealth of knowledge and experience which enables me to assist in leading and managing a healthy staff team alongside the General Manager and Deputy Manager.

Since starting at Hall Park, I have also completed my NVQ 3 in adult Social care, completed a course to become the End of Life Champion and am also the Home's Speak Up Champion.
Before starting here in 2024, I had never worked in care before but had helped care for Family members. I really enjoy my job and find it a very rewarding career. I have formed good relationships with the Residents and their Families and have a great team that I work with.

Natasha is our activities assistant here at Hall Park. She really enjoys her job as no day is ever the same. Putting on different daily activities for the residents to enjoy and keep them stimulated.
We also have a minibus which is used to take residents on trips out.Tash, as everyone knows me, says I can't wait to meet you all during one of our group activities

My name is Lisa, and I am a senior in the Memory Lane community here at Hall Park. My team and I provide the highest standard of care for the residents at all times. I look forward to seeing you on your next visit, where you can take a tour of our suites: the garden suite, village suite, entertainment suite and beech suite.

Hi, my name's Clare and I am the home administrator at Hall Park.
I started my healthcare journey back in 2008 as a community care assistant and worked at Hall Park in 2010 when the doors opened for 1st time, but moved on to another home with the company at the time for career progression.
I have worked across all fields in healthcare, including regional training officer to interim home manager. I feel I have a wide variety of knowledge that helps me in my current role.
Coming back to Hall Park feels like I’ve never left, and I am looking forward to working alongside the team here and supporting residents and relatives with all their administrative requirements.

My name is Jamie and i am the head of maintenance at Hall Park. I have been working here for over 6 years and really enjoy my job. No day is ever the same and I take great pride in ensuring the rooms at Hall Park are always snag free and looking their best. I am also responsible for maintaining the lovely gardens
