I have now been visiting Frank for some 5 months or so since the passing of his wife in January he always seems happy with the care and attention from the many carers who surround him. When asked he is happy with the food and the attention he is given. When I come during the week he is often in lounge 3 along with other residents he seems to be happy.
Thank you .Frank loves home life and enjoys the company of others
My needs are exceptionally well cared for, and responses are always timely. The food is particularly consistently delicious enjoyable. Moreover, the entire staff is delightful, engaging with me daily and attentively addressing my needs.
Thank you for your kind words we will pass them on to the staff
Mum has had respite stays and rehab stays elsewhere but without a doubt Sandown Park have the best staff of all. Other stays may have been more costly, but none match up to Sandown. The compassion and care shown is exemplary. We cannot fault any area of her care and now she is there permanently- the family cannot be happier.
Thank you so much for your lovely comments we will pass this on to the staff
What a wonderful place for my mum to end her years. The staff a so lovely, gentle and attentive. They really do care and not just for the residents but the families too. We were always welcomed with a smile even our little dog 'crackers' was made to feel at home. The cleaners keep the place immaculate. The food was of high quality and fresh. The respect and dignity they showed my mum at her end was priceless. Thank you for all you've done for us.
It was a pleasure caring for your mum, I will feed back your comments to all the staff
I cared for my Mum myself for 7 years prior to her stay and it was essential for me to continue her journey with her at Sandown Park.
Mum had advanced dementia and 92yrs old when she took a fall, this broke both her hips which couldn't be repaired, making her incontinent and bedridden, consequently she needed Nursing care, Sandown Park was the answer!
We were guided by great, proactive and happy carers, knowledgeable, efficient and skilled Nurses, all of whom were able to give us the time of day, smile, chat and make my visits and Mums stay a little bit easier.
This warm and welcoming care home is driven by Shahnaaz who is just brilliant!
My very resilient Mother passed on her own terms with no infection and was beautifully cared for.

Thank you for your heart warming message. I will pass your message onto all the staff
Was very nice. Mum was comfortable right to the end.
Thank you so much I will pass this on to the nurses and Care Assistant's that looked after your mum
Excellent service and care. Mum smiles every day, according to family, friends and carers that came to visit. Sandown looked after mum with great care and dignity. Mum enjoyed all the meals which were patiently fed to mum. Mum was given a lovely, airy room looking out on to the garden, and she could listen to music when in her room. Mum was also included in activities, and was given hair washes etc. Overall mum seemed content with her 3 weeks in respite care and all the staff were friendly.
Thank you for the positive review .Looking forward to her coming again
My wife was admitted after suffering a stroke which resulted in her being paralysed to her left arm and leg. She is not incontinent but cannot use toilet facilities which requires staff to carry out those duties. Here, much to her initial regret, duties are always completely carried out by male staff. They have proved extremely popular with her since she's been here. Food she considers adequate but not attractive. She has a very limited diet, which is the main problem. Accommodation is adequate but it's beset by being contaminated by cats. I think she will have regrets in leaving when she is moved to her permanent home.
Thank you for your comments .Please relay your concerns to the staff nurse .I am not sure whether you have the correct care home as we have never had any animals in our home
Since my wife came to stay I have been very impressed with the whole set up. From the kind friendly staff to the clean rooms. She seems very well cared for here.
Thank you for your kind response i will convey your comments to all the staff
Staff are welcoming and show concern for both residents and relatives. The room is very clean. Efforts have been made to ensure the resident is comfortable. Any concerns are addressed promptly. All residents are included in outdoor entertainment, which takes effort and organisation.
Thank you for your kind comments .Quality is key for all our residents
All the staff were lovely and professional, everywhere was clean and tidy. Mom had been prepared and in her special chair for the family to celebrate her birthday. We were delighted that Mum would get a birthday cake for her and all the residents later that day.
Thank you for your comments So happy you enjoyed the birthday party .The resident's loved the cake and so did the staff
