Due to work commitments, I cannot visit every week and always worry about the effect it has on my own. However am rarely disappointed. The staff are friendly and very caring and she seems to have quite a friendship with them. They are always so busy but find time to acknowledge me and answer any questions.
I like the fact she is not confined to her room and can spend time in the lounge with others.

Very happy with the care given to our loved one, all staff treated him with respect and kindness which meant an awful lot to us. We were kept up to date with everything, and knowing all members of staff were caring for him so well gave us all great peace of mind. I would definitely recommend Sandown
Park to anyone looking for a place for their family member or friend.

My father has been treated with the utmost respect and had excellent care by all the staff since he joined Sandown Park. It is a distressing time when a relative enters a care home and thankfully the staff, management and facilities have all been excellent. Not so good, some items 'go missing' but I
understand this can be a problem with the elderly and infirm residents. Overall I can highly recommend Sandown Park to anyone thinking of joining as a resident/family member.

Staff are very attentive.
Home is clean. My dad is clean and treated with dignity. I've just started visiting but I have been well-informed on my dad each visit. All the management and staff have my confidence.

The home is a safe, clean and happy environment for my mum. I have never had any complaints with her care from entering the home to the nursing staff. Communication has and is excellent, again from the manager to the carers. The menu for the service users has a good amount of choice.

Always a smile when arriving to visit. All staff are polite and helpful. If a question is raised, whether it be about care or information, it's always answered and dealt with. I'm always informed if there is any changes in any way.

My dad was in Sandown Park for 8 months before he sadly passed away. I was very happy with the care he received there. The home is very pleasant, purpose built, clean and secure. The staff are very caring and friendly. The home is well run and organised and residents are well looked after. I would recommend
this home if you are looking for dementia care.

Mum was cared for to a reasonable standard. Seemed to be very few activities taking place. A few concerns regarding her cleanliness and appearance; not seen by a podiatrist during her stay despite her being diabetic. Difficult to contact the home outside of office hours. As visitors, we were not offered
refreshments, no tea or coffee facilities.

The care home podiatry service does not see diabetic residents as they are always seen at the outpatient diabetic department at the hospital Due to the pandemic previous we are still taking precautions and the rise of covid in the community we are not serving refreshments for relatives. We have a number of coffee shops within walking distance of the care home.

My mother-in-law was placed in this setting. After she was basically kicked out of the previous care home she was in.
I went to visit her today what a difference, the staff were so polite. I wish we picked this place years ago.

I was a bit wary about this home. Being that I had previously heard so many horror stories regarding other care homes, but Sandown Park is nothing like this.
Immediately, the staff put me at ease. They explained everything in detail and put me at ease straight away. The care home is clean and tidy,
and the staff are very easy to speak to, and the room is very clean.

My mother's care needs became more to the end of her life, and I and my sister were so happy that we managed to get her into Sandown Park. Everyone involved in her care was so professional, helpful and attentive, which made us both feel that at the end of the day that we had done our best for her.

What an amazing nursing home. Every person I met was welcoming and so helpful. My mum was really unsure about giving up her independence but the carers were so attentive, they explained the daily routine, using her whiteboard if necessary and she very quickly settled in and made friends and referred
to it as home. I felt happy that everything she needed was catered for. The home itself is so clean and warm and there are activities every day for all abilities, but for me, the overriding positive was how lovely the staff were to her.
