Staff are always caring and compassionate. My aunt is very well looked after and I feel confident that she is receiving the best possible care.

Nursing staff always have time for an update chat even though they are very busy.

The care our mother received over the past few weeks has been outstanding. The respect, patience, and understanding shown by the staff has been very reassuring for her loved ones to see each time we visited.

Sadly mum passed away last week and the helpful information we received has been both very sympathetic, supportive and helpful.

My 91-year-old mother was resident at Sandown Park for the last 7 months of her life, having moved from a previous home due to increased nursing needs. Sandown Park is an excellent home, both caring and professional, and did everything possible to look after my mother's needs. The staff are outstanding, full credit to them for managing some challenging residents with tact, dignity, courtesy and always a smile. I visited the home at various times of the day and at weekends, and the level of care was consistently high.

I would highly recommend Sandown Park Care Home.

A very pleasant, clean and caring facility. Mum has been in Sandown Park for just over 6 months and is very happy. Her health has improved with the personal care she has received to the extent she no longer requires constant oxygen.

Food and care is excellent and as visitors, the family is always welcomed by staff and management.

I cannot praise the staff more as they all work so hard in dealing with often very sad conditions of the many residents. I feel I have formed a bond with many of the staff over the last 2 -2 and a half years. The only thing I think would be better would be brighter decorating! Blank walls are very boring if you are unable to go out.

Most people find the food rather bland but I know it is difficult dealing with so many different people all of course with different taste.

My very good friend is very, very difficult. She has a problem with how to have life at the present moment, but she remembers her past very very well! Practically I saved her life. She was alone in a very, very messy home with rats. At the moment she is much better - living as a human, in a very good home with all the support she needed. Thank you very much.

My father has only been in the home for 3 months but the staff seem kind and proficient. My father seems comfortable. I feel his room should be slightly larger as he cannot walk and so cannot get to the other side of his bed to sit by the window. He is always hungry when I visit but I do not know whether this is a healthy appetite or whether the staff are not sitting and helping him get the food into his mouth. There are no signs of activities at all.

My Mother passed away peacefully at Sandown Park after a six-year stay. She had Vascular Dementia and was in the care unit.
I could visit anytime and was warmly welcomed and felt that I could have up-to-date information regarding my mother.

She always said that she was looked after and I really felt it was like a second family. I thought the dedication and professionalism were very high all across the board and I have absolutely no regrets that my mother spent her last years there.

My mother was a resident at Sandown Park care home from January 2015 until July 2016 when she sadly passed away. All the time she was a resident, particularly during her last few days in July she was treated with great kindness, dignity and care.

My mother has settled in very well within a few months of arriving after a torrid experience in hospital and a short stay at another care home. The surroundings, staff, management have played an immense part in achieving this. I have a lot of confidence in the staff who work tirelessly under very difficult circumstances at times. After nearly one year of anxiety, it is a relief for me to know my mother is in good hands.

My sister appears to have been cared for very well in a friendly and helpful manner, despite her dementia, she is addressed by all the members of staff with respect and attention (as far as I have witnessed on my visits). She appears to be happy most of the time, although the members of staff I have enquired about her attitude, say that she is prone to bouts of anger and antagonism towards them and other residents.
