Overall Experience
My mother was transferred to Aran Court Care Home from hospital in February and was a resident there until she passed away in May. Throughout Mum's stay I was very impressed and reassured that she was receiving excellent care. All staff showed great kindness to Mum and were very attentive and proactive in her care, swiftly identifying her needs and putting actions in place to address them. Communication between staff and myself was very good - I was kept well-informed and any queries I had were addressed promptly.
From the minute we stepped into the reception area Mum's family and friends were greeted with smiles and made to feel welcome; nothing seemed to be too much trouble and there was always a feeling of calm, warmth and friendliness.

I would not hesitate to recommend Aran Court Care Home and am very grateful to everyone there that Mum was able to spend the final months of her life in such a pleasant, caring and happy environment.

After my mother was moved from the hospital to the care home without our knowledge it was refreshing to speak to a receptionist who was friendly, informative and courteous. On attending the care home, I found it to be clean, facilities and security to be very good.

Staff are absolutely excellent in their care and consideration for the residents.
Rooms are reasonable, as are furnishings.

Only concerns are clothes not hung up and some things missing (six pairs of slippers and six pillows). But Wife seems happy and well cared for so that's all that matters.

Found my brother-in-law still in bed a few times at 10.30 to 11 am, one time he was in darkness with his curtains still closed from evening time. A few times also his breakfast plate was still in his bedroom at lunchtime. Carers are very friendly and polite.

My mom who recently passed away came to Aran Court Care Home 2 years ago after being in hospital. She was very low when she arrived but soon blossomed again under the care of the lovely staff at Aran Court. She benefitted greatly from the social contact, care and activities provided at the home. Mom because ill and bed bound from February this year till she passed away in July. The care and warmth from the staff was excellent and the care and respect for us as relatives was also so kind. I would be happy to recommend the home to anyone.

The staff team are supportive to our family too. They welcome visitors and encourage family inclusion. Mom has been in the care home for 6 months and we have no complaints. We are very thankful that Mom is happy and cared for.

I have always found the standard of care at Aran Court to be excellent. The carers seem to genuinely care for the residents and I feel that my dad has a good quality of life here. The activities are varied and you can see that the residents are enjoying themselves. My dad's needs are met and if he needs to see a doctor this is arranged and also any emergencies are dealt with efficiently. I am always consulted on any changes that may occur. The rooms are spacious and very modern and the residents' own possessions can be brought in. Obviously, the last two years have been difficult and I have missed the flexibility of visiting whenever I want, but hopefully as restrictions are lifted this will improve. Well done to everyone - doing an excellent job.
