I cannot speak highly enough of the care my dad received at Aran Court over a period of 5 years. The care team and the management team made a difficult time for me and my family much more bearable, they showed compassion when I needed it most. His room was always kept clean and tidy and the food was nutritious and plentiful, definitely 5 stars.

I went to the home following my discharge from the hospital. I was in poor health and needed 24-hour care. The peace and quiet, plus the kindness and dedication of the staff mean my health began to improve. As I prepared to go home and grow stronger, I was allowed to do small tasks for myself with help always on hand if needed. The meals were varied and the portions large. My room was adequately furnished and serviced regularly by friendly staff. The common parts were clean and lounge created a comfortable friendly place for activities. The friendly, relaxed atmosphere was ideal for recovery. Thank you.

I was in the care home for just over three months due to an accident. I had bilateral fractures in both feet and could not weight-bear for over two months. The staff were very kind, polite and more than capable at their jobs. That goes for management, admin, care staff, physios, cleaners and nurses. They all looked after me and kept my spirits up during a very difficult time. I cannot thank them enough.

I have found this care home to give my mum very good care. They understand my mums care needs and work with my mum throughout the day to ensure she is comfortable and is caused the least amount of stress. Yes, the home may lack luxury frills but I would rather the fact that my mum has suffered fewer infections and is well nourished and is in an environment where the staff seem happy in their work and she sings to herself.

My mum lives in this care home. The care staff are very useful, they take good care of my mum. The home manager is very good and professional at her job and she is very helpful. The chef is good at his job and pays great attention to my mum's meals as mum is a Muslim and he buys halal meat for her. Mum is very comfortable at Aran Court. I thank everyone at this care home for their service.

My sister and I visited our much loved aunt. She looked so cosy and more importantly, she is well hydrated and clean and with good mouth care evident. The room is clean and no nasty aroma at all which shows that domestic and care staff are providing a very good support to our aunt.

We both live out of area so are very pleased to know excellent care standards are being adhered to. Thank you.

My mum has been in 8 weeks and I couldn't be happier, the staff treat her excellently and her care is very good, she hasn’t been the same for years, but since being in Aran Court she has had the best care and she is the happiest she has been in years. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone and recommend anyone to put there mother, father, grandma, grandad etc here, love this place.

Amazing place, the staff are a blessing, the management too, even down to the cleaning and reception staff. They all can't do enough for you. The care and attention your loved one gets is first class, I wouldn’t want my mother to be in any other place. She loves the food, her room is very spacious and homely and entertainment is of the highest. Why would we, as a family, not want her to hear she will live out her days in a very happy environment and we, as a family, are very pleased with how she is treated as well as the other residents. Their care is amazing and nothing is too much trouble. Thank you Aran Court for making my mums stay as comfortable as she can possibly be.

I visited with a friend to see her grama today. I wasn’t looking forward to it as I have been in a care home before. I must say I was more than pleasantly surprised. The entrance was very welcoming and we were greeted by staff. There was no ‘old people’ smell which I was really grateful for. Her grama was in the lounge with other residents and was having a chat with another resident. My friend was so happy to see her looking so well cared for and I was happy for her. Looks like lots to do and lots of staff in sight. Well done Aran Court.

My daughter has been a resident of Aron Court for nearly 3 years. I am so grateful to the nursing staff and the carers for their care of my daughter. Everyone at the home from the cleaners, kitchen staff and carers to the receptionists and the Care Manager are pleasant and approachable. There is an open door policy and you can discuss any problems with the management at any time. There are regular meetings where we are kept up to date with what is going on in the home.

My husband has been in Aran Court for nearly 5 years, in this time he had been exceptionally well looked after, his every need is catered for, the carers are angels. My husband has behavioural problems along with a lot of medical conditions and the carers understand how to care for him, he has been in other care homes but none meet the standard of Aran Court. The management are extremely competent in their positions and are always there to listen to any problems that I have have and have helped me understand my husband and always been there for me in my time if need. I can not fault this care in anyway what so ever I have nothing but praise for Aran Court.

This home is a family. From management through to kitchen porters everyone is friendly efficient and work tirelessly 24/7 365 days a week. I viewed 17 homes with my mother before we came across this one.

This is the best home in Birmingham and they cater for every complex case turning no one away and have nursed husband and wife together at the same time. The nursing skill is fantastic and their quick thinking have kept my father alive on numerous occasions . The care team are very hard working and have become my fathers other family. Should anyone out there find a better home please let me know and I will move my father there!!!

There is no better care home than Aran Court.

Its a nice care home. I have been as a resident for the last 5 years now. If I was not happy I would not stay, I go into the office sometimes and sing to them ha ha, I can do what I want with in reason, I have my own garden, where I have grown some veg, the staff and management are brilliant I could not ask for better, nothing is too much trouble and management are there for you. If you need to talk to them about anything you can and they will go over it with you, so you understand things a litter better, which puts your mind at rest. I am in a wheelchair and I really would not want to go anywhere else, it really is like home from home.

My 90 year old mother has been a resident at Aran Court since July 2010. At the time of admittance she was given a few months to live. We are now in March 2016 and mum is still with us and both myself and my family thank the staff for the care and attention shown to her on a daily basis. I would also like to thank the staff for their patience when dealing with enquiries from her family.
